I never play cvs, so i wont comment this part of the update, about playing dds, i think all have been said, i play bbs, and from time to time you have the luck to be top tier and be a real asset for your team, but now, most of the time the enmy cvs makes you a priority target and you dont play anymore, you spend your time dodging planes..; i really think 2 cvs per battle is too much, only viable ships now are those with heavy aa..
