Well, WG is in partnership with Sanzigen studio. So, they have to make some publicity in a way in another, and a crossover from the two "universes" (WoWS isn't an universe in itself) was long time planned. Are you blaming them for making use of a partnership? Did you blame WoT and Girls Und Panzer? (Well, in this one the event was just on SEA server I guess) Arpeggio anime and manga are extremely successful outside Japan. It would be a waste for WG to not exploit it, since every fan of the anime is likely to have an interest in WW2 japanese ships. I'm way more interested in the new players that will come than morons who'll left it because they are too narrow minded to accept there can be other things in an arcade game than realism, even if there is a flashy red "Enable/Disable" button. This game will never be realistic anyway, we're talking about WG.

This anime/manga along with Kancolle game and animés like Space Battleship Yamato brought a lot more player base than you think. Proofs are Kancolle and anime threads success. Please dont be so disrespectful with people tastes.

This phrases everything I want to say. I'll just add intolerents pedantics snobs. Anyway, this event will surely makes me come back to WoWS after 1 and half month, so I'm hyped. ^^

Most handsome: -Yamato: This beast was born to be the best, even the design was studied to be aesthetically impressive. I mean, look at her, she looks like a pissed off samurai ready to cut you in half! -Kongo (Or Hiei IRL): Best compromise between normal style and japanese style: Pagoda mast not too high, well balanced design. I still would have preferred the real Kongo's mast, but this class is beautiful. - Tier 1 german: I mean, it looks like an old school yacht with oversized turrets mounted on it! Lovely. Worst style: -Nicholas: Bridge too high. Makes me sick to look at it. -Hosho: I don't know, it doesn't even have the Langley little plus of being a floating scaffolding. -Iowa/North Carolina: Not any aesthetical reaserch in it. Just efficiency over design. Yamato did it way better aesthetically in the same configuration.

I dislike bundles, but I like the ships.Hence all the fuss, because I would buy the ships if ship only offers. I hate everything that artificially inflate the price of an already virtual good. A bundle that triples the price of a ship is a no no for me, that's all. (Because I only care about the ship. Never spent any cent in doublons or premium time since I started WoT) Would there be an option to buy ship only, I'm sure there would not be any shitstorm everytime a new ship is in the store, like now. And besides, I can't leave, this is the only Ship game MMO available right now. (No I won't play SO.)

Honnêtement, je préfère les artworks de Chitose/Chidoya que celui de Mizuho donc... :/ Surtout que je n'utilise jamais, jamais d'AV, et maintenant qu'il y a des maps qui peuvent en demander, j'ai Akitsumaru pour la supériorité aérienne. On échange?

Maybe if not part of a bundle. But I have little to no interest in this ship. By the way I don't know at all how WG would advertise about this ship. Maybe selling it with a bunch of anti detonnation flags? (for 10 more € )

When I think Warships, I think IJN or USN. But I might be biased. (And Chineses seems too! )

I do not play anymore but I come on the forums because I have hopes that one day I will be reading a thread named "Finally, a fair offer!" or "Fixed Ingame economy, GG WG!" I do not dislike the game. I only wait for it to be corrected. I dont like the way the game is handled right now, so I am here to give (negative) feedback. Be it on nerf of anything that players praises because it's fun to play, or those [edited] [edited] [edited] bundles. Troll edit: This other game SO good with subs... Don't have any RN ship either. Yet it have a french ship! Double marketing problem or?...

Same Here mate ! It's awful to see that there is so few alpha or early beta testers left... The game can't hook players for long, and that's not the shop that will help.

Jolis loots en effet. Tokitsukaze est rare et appréciée. Toujours pas de Umikaze... Par contre un drop m'à mis de bonne humeur: Hyuuga! Depuis que j'ai relu les comics de Ise et Hyuuga par Bifidus (Sur Danbooru) je voulais rechopper une Hyuuga et la powerleveller. Et ça faisait bien 2 mois que j'avais pas revu Hyuuga. (La précédente avait été donnée à Littorio ^^')

Perso, je crois que je vais abandonner le farm de Umikaze, pas le temps. T-T Pour Akitsumaru, dis toi que au moins, tu gagnes des barges. Elles augmenteront le rendement de tes expeditions! Mais à part ça...

About SO, i'll add that when players will grow bored of submarines, they'll come back to WoWS, ship combat is IMO way better handled than this "Steel Arty Ocean". I hate this arty view. For the game, my interest reduced from update to updates, starting from the patch after IJN CV. Now I almost don't have time to play anymore, and when I play it's another game. But I find the forum really fun, and stay for Kancolle communities and [edited] during offers bundles sales.

I believe there is a hidden camera somewhere on the forum. There is no other explaination.

Well, I'd rather not go in the WG shop for now and open steam. A lot of better offers, for Mikasa price, I got Fallout 3 + DLCs AND Wolfenstein the new order.

WG politic: Bundles... (it's just for the audio) (Yeah, I'll up this thread every time, everytime there is an overpriced bundle.) -"Why is it overpriced? It's only 20€ you [edited]?" Well, 20€ for a tier 2 ship so bad NA server refuses to sell it to players (it's sadly true!) and gives it almost free to their players by a contest. (send a participation, get a Mikasa) AT THE SAME TIME WE GET THIS [EDITED] BUNDLE. And that may be the first of an entire overpriced bundles serie. Braces yourselves, bundles are coming! (again and again.)

I made a NA account some times ago, that's the only one I run now. The Mikasa bundle at 20€ convinced me. They got it free for an entry in a contest, they think the ship is so bad they mustn't sell it. Here in EU, WG think we'll eat all the garbadge they throw at us.

Ça peut passer avec de la réorganisation. -Je mettrais tous tes navires de plus haut level dans la flotte #2 (Hibiki, Shimakaze, Inazuma. Mutsuki si elle est full modernisée). Ensuite, les navires de faible niveau de la 2e flotte (Yuudachi, Shiranui, Shirayuki) je les mettrais dans la 1ere flotte, et je ne les équiperais qu'avec des drums. Ce n'est pas un bête set de canons qui changera quelque chose à leur inutilité en combat. -Enleve les drums de Chiyoda, toutes. Remplace toutes les drums par des hydravions bombardiers. (sauf si tu arrives à avoir la superiorité aérienne au boss simplement grace à Mogami) -Pour les drums, j'en mettrai deux sur chaque destroyer de la flotte #1. Comme dit plus haut, ce n'est pas un canon qui changera leur inutilité. Je suis en train de farmer E-3 easy personnellement, j'ai mis des canons + radar sur tous mes DDs de la 1ere flotte (qui sont au minimum niveau 36), et malgré tout elles continuent de rater dans 98% des cas, et sinon elles font du scratch damage. Y'a que ma Mogami pour être utile dans la flotte 1.

Attention sur le moral des filles: quand elles brillent mais qu'elles sont à 50, c'est juste un effet visuel. Elles ne bénéficient des bonus en combat qu'à partir de 53 de moral!

Je dirais laisse couler et prends une pause. Le RNG s'acharne parfois quand tu pousse trop tes navires. Sinon je conseillerais aussi le sparkling des deux flottes, mais c'est long et fastidieux...

I hope you have something to compensate, Shigure K2 cut-ins were really a major trump card in my fleet.
