Well then say the same things to Zao and Henri. xD What Hinden can do is pushing caps. Which I did. And removing a tenth of a BB HP every ten seconds is anything but irrelevant. Add nine torp hit to the first match btw. We lost both matches because in the first one our DD were idiot suiciders and in the second my team decided to be overly aggressive and throw our advantage... Hinden is totally fine, though I also think it's not a very interesting ship. I only play it in CB usually as it is a "safe bet" with good versatility on all CBs maps.
-
I played Hinden twice today, those were my first matches since last tier10 CB. Well, we lost both. But I really can't say it was my fault considering the damage I dealt. Hindenburg still feel absurdly tanky and I survived moves that would have killed me two times easily with Zao or Henri. It's still fantastic at close range, the 12 guns packs a punch with both ammunition (10k salvoes on broadside BBs with AP easily) and the ship itself is still good as kiting and harassing the enemy team as a whole. I don't really understand why they feel the need to buff it.
-
Except they didn't ? They just thought it lacked popularity lately and probably get a somewhat low survivability rate. So they buff it. The armor itself never changed.

Buffing NC and Iowa ? Say what ? Best tier 8 BB by far and one of the most competitive tier 9 ? Are they out of their mind ? As for Izumo, just reverse that stupid third turret. It's the only buff it needs. -
Hmmm. In Anime I wouldn't know, but I enjoyed a lot the manga "Kurogane" though it appears the author took a lot of liberties with the rules of modern kendo, it's still a very enjoyable read. Can't think of any others right now.

cv rework CV Rework Beta Test - Feedback thread
ShinGetsu replied to Crysantos's topic in General Discussion
Playing a Gearing without Concealment nor Concealment Module is such a pain. Especially when you do that only to get freeXP and credits and get none of it at the end. WG fix your test server ffs. As for the AA, I tried the Shoukaku one game. Did 15k damage. The planes are just way too squishy. They drop like flies. Finally, seriously, please, give us the means to defend our CV... Give us DIRECT CONTROL, and allows the uses of DCP/DefAA when we're in plane view. Let's say by pressing M for instance. Because giving up perfectly fine plane only to be able to repair is completely stupid. -

You do realize that 30mm armor means that Montana would be totally helpless against HIndenburg, right ? -

As much as I agree with this, it really depends on the opposition. Bow-on tanking Moskva get shredded salvoes after salvoes by Yamato and République, while he mostly shrug Montana and GK terrible penetration. Also both Hinden and IFHE Henri do huge damage to Moskva. Let alone Conqueror HE salvoes that simply don't care about whatever 50mm armor Moskva have. Tbh bow-on Moskva is stupid, but I don't think it brings very consistent results, because it still locks your ship in place and many things can hurts you. Long-range Hinden is safer IMO. -
What Were Your Greatest Gaming Achievements Today ?

'Twas yesterday, but I did a 14 citadel hits game with Zao. Sadly it wasn't enough to win. Of these 14, I did a devastating strike on a Seattle with 5, and another 5 in a single salvo on a... Musashi at point blank range. He was getting out of an island, I torped and seeing his guns weren't looking at me I sent an AP salvo... 30k damage with 11 shells !The torps never hits him since he died before they could catch him.^^ To top it off, the Seattle reported me for cheating. After all there's no way a Zao can use its AP right ? -

Yeah no. It is still potato friendly. The 50mm HE pen, the good rof, the good fire chance, make it very easy to play. Also great survivability as well which mitigates the standard potato play. And incredible ship at close range if that wasn't enough. It's not necessarily effective, but it's by far the easiest tier X CA and the one any potato can get constant results with. And I'm tired of reading that "HE spamming isn't effective". Yeah, it isn't when used alone on a single target. Now with the 50mm penetration you actually hurts any target besides Yamato 57mm deck, the good fire chance combined with the awesome rof and good gun angles means you can pretty easily profits on DCP uses of the enemy targets. And if you get broadsides, load AP and see the huge damage you can get with them. Compared to squishy Zao, short ranged/high arc DM, high DPM but low alpha Worcester, spotted-from-the-moon Moskva, situational Minotaur, and need-to-learn-how-to-optimize-reload-booster Henri IV, Hindenburg is by far the simplest ship. The HE spam not being effective in random isn't even an issue. It still works correctly. On the other hand, with proper focus on CBs, Hindenburg with range, HE penetration, long range hydro, high alpha AP, low blap risk is the staple choice when you don't know what else to field besides radar. It just doesn't have any real downside and is strong in all situation. Not even mentioning how Hindenburg is the easiest counter to Moskva, and in a straight HE DPM-fight can hold its ground against all other tier 10 cruisers besides DM and a kiting Worcester. True, in term of raw damage, Hindenburg HE aren't good. But they penetrates everything, it's the only tier 10 cruiser besides Zao that gets 12 guns, and overall a full Hinden HE salvo hurts more than a Moskva's. So yeah, Hindenburg is potato friendly. Simply because it requires much less skill to do decently with. Mastering it is another things entirely. But getting decent results and WR is easy enough. Even with just HE spamming you can do that. -
[Nerf Bat] Yueyang being slaughtered
ShinGetsu replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
I really wish that people raging on "Harugumo being too strong, OP or whatever" to play the damn thing, seriously. Harugumo is dangerous, but it can't f***** cap contest AT ALL. It's just too damn huge and fat for that. It's a Kutuzov made tier 10 DD, that's all. It's not even that hard to deal with. If the enemy team play defensive, Harugumo will not do crap. If the enemy team is too agressive, Harugumo will get pushed out of her smoke. Harugumo only feeds on mistakes, agressive team or bad plays. When a Harugumo farms a République from her smoke, it means she got spotting and the range at the same time, and isn't even in torpedo range. Daring is way more dangerous due to RN AP and more usable torpedoes. Harugumo is exactly like Khabarovsk in the sense that it completely outDPM any DD it catches. But on the other hand, if the DD gets ANY support, the Harugumo will never be able to get out of it alive, because it will eat tremendous damage from the escort ships. It's simply unable to seriously cap contest til very late game. Now about that Yue Yang nerf, it's simply retarded. What I would have done would be to nerf her concealment to around 6.3km. This way it will be forced to either play more prudently when using the smoke as other DD will see her first, but on the other hand it wouldn't be too hard on the radar gameplay, which is her main purpose in competitive. And if you remove radar from YueYang, people will just get back to the good old smoke camping meta with only a radar DM coming out every 3 minutes. Terrible idea, YueYang at least force both team to move. -
Received a 30% coupon but don t have what to spend it on...
ShinGetsu replied to 22cm's topic in General Discussion
Tbh I find those coupons stupid. So, I have one, but I can't use it on Jean Bart. So instead of buying Jean Bart now for 45€, I'll wait to have enough coal and get it for 0€. As for the coupon, I'll just let it die. It's a very bad move from WG. Make it usable on anything and I'll happily be a good sheep giving some money out. But with those restriction I feel frustrated and WG gets not a single cent from me. Very bad move Wargaming, we both lose here... -

> 16 torps. 8 per side with amazingly agressive angles. > can't outbrawl a BB. Errrrrm... Sure, you won't get straight from 12.3 to 0 km alive, but in ambush using islands ? Hindenburg wins every single time. Not to mention Hindenburg is the ship I want to be in when there's a cyclone. It just kicks any other ships [edited]in this situation. -
ShinGetsu replied to Hitama07's topic in Expérience de jeu

ShinGetsu replied to Hitama07's topic in Expérience de jeu
