[Nerf Bat] Yueyang being slaughtered
ShinGetsu replied to __Helmut_Kohl__'s topic in General Discussion
So you'll see the performance drops like a rock, and since nobody will play it anymore (except for the radar in CB... oh wait, radar gonna get nerfed too !) you will not care since "nobody plays it anyway" ? Seriously, there's no excuse for this nerf. It's not a measured nerf at all. Nerfing the DPM by 25% is HUGE. It's like adding 10 seconds to a BB reload... Try adding 10 seconds to Yamato reload, I bet you'll never do it as the backlash from the playerbase would be enormous. But it's a DD, so nobody cares, right ? -

Seriously... What the heck. Both post. Azuma is weaker than Kronshtadt here... And Yahagi is just bad, it needs huge buff with those torpedo angle. Those torps were its only saving grace ffs. -
Hard data is nice and all, but data need to be analyzed and summarized to have any sense. What I've said is just a perfect explanation of Asashio server stats. Because there is absolutely no way that ship is good. It's just easy, hence have relatively good stats compared to harder-to-play good DDs. And tbh your opinion as a terrible player doesn't hold much value. I'm participating here in this forum to helps people and debates about the game, and I can't let people defend the Asashio when it's so blatantly terrible and cost 30€.
-
Asashio got decent server stats for the very simple reason it is utterly idiotic to play. Stay at 15km and spam torp. Even the most braindead retard can do that. Hence they don't suicide early like they usually do with any other DD and have RELATIVE success compared to their true destroyer. Still doesn't change the fact the ship is abysmally bad, and no good player would want that piece of crap in their port. Good players want to be able to have a real impact on the match. Asashio (and Terrible as well) are the furthest from that. And when it comes to fun, I, and many good players, want to have our fun with a playstyle that is effective. We want to perform and win with our performance. Asashio which only relies on your opponent stupidity is a terrible choice.

5.4 stealth is only something you can argue as good when you talk about torpedo attack on big ship and ship that have decent gunboat ability. Asashio being the ship that is the furthest of a gunboat at tier 8, its stealth is totally irrelevant. Especially considering that : - Lightning got 5.5 - Benson got 5.8 - Lo Yang got 5.8 - HsienYang 5.7 - Harekaze got equal concealment at 5.4 etc... Not even mentioning that Chung Mu got 5.7, Fletcher 5.8, and Kitakaze 5.9... Actually the only ship you could have a chance to run away from without being spotted is Akizuki and its 6.1 concealment. And notice it's "running away from". because no Asashio with half a brain would try to fight an Akizuki.

Yes and no. If the Azuma is added as it is, and especially in steel, there's just no reason to buy it. Especially if you take into account the fact that Bourgogne will ALSO cost steel and is quite a strong contender as well. Let's say I have enough steel for either Bourgogne or Stalingrad, and there's Azuma that appears in the shop with the same cost. I clearly would go for either Stalinblyat or the Bourgogne wine. Azuma wouldn't be interesting enough.

Les dégâts des HE c'est de la m**** totale en fait. Les incendies aussi. En gros t'as zéro impact.

You got 23 hits for 99 shots, usually BB accuracy should fares around 30% hitrate, not 23-25%. That's why I said that. May have been the RNG and the fact you had to snipe tho.
-
Well this game was a stomp so it's hard to say without watching the replay (can't be bothered sorry), the damage is still a bit low and so is your accuracy however. Your damage per hit is good so at least when you hit, you hurts where it hurts. But practice your aiming I'd say.

Sims level then ? I don't think there is worse. -
First, it's Unryuu. Don't bulli the dragon. And second, it's a massive NO. As historical as they were, it's really NOT a feature that should be implemented in a game, ever. It was the result of desperation, and lack of ship to use as their navy was globally destroyed. And they were launched from land base anyway. And WOWS isn't a historical game.

Shift X is not something I use myself often. It's a bit hard to use it on the fly while you're suddenly losing the tracking on a target. Your guns tends to drift immediately away. Ctrl+X is very useful when you do a specific maneuver and don't want your turrets to follow on the other hand.
-
It's SHIFT+X and CTRL+X. CTRL+X locks your turret in place. They just stops turning, while SHIFT+X locks them into the point you are currently aiming. Quite useful when trying to blind a smoke and you wants to keep your guns on the target that just disappeared. To unlock, just select a target. (with X)

Ah, that's why I was thinking the superstructure (in particular the captain tower) looked a bit too modern. -
Use right click. It locks your turret on place while you're looking around. Actually, get addicted to right clic. It gives you so much situational awareness. Stay in sniper mode and between two salvo stay on right click to get out of sniper while you reload. One thing in this game is KEEP. LOOKING. AROUND.

This DD looks quite good, especially with that concealment that brings it to 5.75km if the camo is already counted in the current 7.1km. 2x2 guns seems a bit low however. Even Udaloi gets 6... So russian torpboats. Why the heal then ? It doesn't add up. I know Yuugumo gets the reload booster without smoke, but why heal on that DD ?... -

I really wanted the Agano-class to be at tier 6 at least... sure the armament isn't very good, but you can just fiddle with the reload. For a 42 light cruiser it's really a shame she will have to fight Emile Bertin and Königsberg. -
Lo Yang, Kidd, Lightning and Harekaze are the best tier 8 DD due to their versatility and overall impact on the match.
-
Your WR shows pretty evidently you have absolutely no idea of what you're doing. Spare us your advice please. We don't need it. It's you that need to get better, not us.
-
I know that, but I really feel Yamato is more accurate. You can neatly see which shells comes from which gun with the LM in particular. It may be placebo, but it works for me. xD
-
Yeah, except it's usually the Moskva that does the sniping. xD
-
Turret traverse ? You know that, since last Yamato turret traverse buff, you are actually getting a traverse better with the legendary module than you had with the simple reload module before the buff ? Tbh I find it a nonissue, and I see the result in the dispersion pattern.
-
Nah, you totally took it the wrong way. On the contrary, russians cruisers benefits hugely from the current radar. You use it as a "general spotting tool" to see what is close, and it's especially true when there are multiples islands around. Moskva radar is mostly useless in open water as it is outspotted by a huge margin, and anyone can stay out of the 11.7km.
-
I know it sounds contradictory, but it really isn't. It's just two different cases : - If you go for LoS radar, a DD have no way of knowing when he can get out of his cover. Hence either it tries and dies, or it get stuck behind and die later. Say he got radared in open water, then takes cover. When does he get out ? - On the other hand, radar being LoS based would means cruisers would either avoid closed caps, and go for open water cap to use their radar. In the end both DD and CL/CA loses in survivability (which is already not high) and nobody wins from it. Except Missouri. Also I'd say it would be an unwelcome nerf for russian Cruisers which usually don't use their radar for DD spotting (except Chapa) but more dor a general "spotting around" purpose.

152/6 = 25.3. Il faut au moins 25.5 pour que le jeu arrondisse à 26 et permette de percer 25. Avec 25mm de pénétration tu ne perces pas 25mm.
