En 4.0 les anglais et les allemands ont largement de quoi répliquer, notamment avec les Cromwell, Comet, et Pz IV F2. En 5.0 ou 5.3, alors là tu as les Tigre H et E qui sont laaaaargement un adversaire de taille au T-34-85. En fait le match est plutôt très bien équilibré entre eux. Le Tigre a un meilleur blindage et un meilleur canon, et les T-34-85 ont un canon qui est une machine à OS quand il perce, et une bonne mobilité. Et les US ont le Hellcat qui est un tueur en série. En 6.3 et 6.7, le MM est inondé de Pershing, M41A1, T29 complètement OP, Ferdinand, Tiger II H, Panther II (qui est largement à sa place en 6.7 btw vu le canon de l'engin), M56 , Scorpion OP et j'en passe. Les russes ont le T-44 et le T-44-100. Au delà, en 7.3 les russes ont certes un excellent T-54 et un IS-3 très propret, mais les allemands ont largement de quoi répliquer, et les US commencent à sortir le matos vraiment lourd. Au final à part le T-34 1941 qui est pas mal pété (mais affronte des Crom et des PzIV presque aussi bons), le MM est soit équilibré, soit en défaveur des russes. Je vais même pas parler des Leo1 qui sont comme par hasard les chars les plus joués, ou du fameux E-100, certes rare, mais littéralement craqué... Et les russes sont de loin les plus facile à OS aussi. Au final dans tous les cas, WT a tendance à mettre des trucs OP un peu partout. La dernière tendance c'est le Tu-4 (effectivement russe cette fois)...

I don't know for CE. But honestly, Manual AA + BFT + AFT is just overkill. CV won't attack a BB escorted by a Cleveland anyway, unless they are either ignorant or downright stupid. AFT is great for augmenting the range of the AA and the consumable, and that's more than enough. You'll shred planes anyway.

Je parle des Lagg3 et 1 en effet. Dans WT ils ont un BR hyper bas (matchmaking ultra favorable), et en gros ils affrontent des biplans avec un canon de 20 central qu'ils sont quasiment les seuls à posséder. Peu de munitions certes, mais ils sont dévastateurs en arcade. J'en ai une line-up complète avec 5 modèles de Lagg-3 différents dont un premium gagné en event, et c'est juste le truc pour sealclub sans remords quoi. En historique le moteur chauffe ultra vite et le peu de munitions les handicapes. Les Lavoshkin-5 et 5FN sont assez cools, le 7 est sympa, et le 9 est vraiment marrant à jouer, mais ils sont pas mal équilibrés globalement. Par contre les Yakovlev-3 sont complètement pétés, et le Yak-9T avec son canon de 37mm qui snipe à 1km en mode narmol est juste infâme...

Played it yesterday for a change and I loved deleting a Neptune going backward, and stuffing 8-9k salvoes on a broadside Alabama. Got a 14k salvo on a broadside Hinden too, without citadel hits.^^ Also I just decided to switch range module on Moskva and Hinden with reload module. I lose some ability to snipe campers, but I'm not spotted from the Moon anymore each time I'm firing, and the DPM bonus is nothing to scoff at either. Even with a small loss in brawling ability.

Hahaha, IFHE means HE can overpens. This is ThinderChief level of nonsense alright. Even SkyBuck wouldn't have come up with something that stupid. Even if they could, the caliber of Akizuki is so low there's no way it could happens given the armor it faces. And now, you compare a Kutuzov with and without IFHE, and the only things you'll notice is that the number of penetration on BBs and cruisers will shot through the roof. 152-180mm with IFHE becomes less reliants on fire to actually do damage. In facts they becomes incredibly strong. Kutuzov in particular, with its smoke and long range sniper rifles, can be incredibly annoying. I'm pondering whether to use my freepex to get Cleveland lately, I even have a captain ready with IFHE to farm plebs for her. But that would badly hurts my stock of freepex I was keeping for starting the French cruisers at tier 6. I want to play cruisers lately, and as much as I love Moskva, having to do the job of tanking for the BBabies hanging in the back gets boring fast. I need to re-buy some lower tier cruisers like Budyonny. The french line is a welcome addition in that regard. Though with Aosta incoming and Flamu review, I'm pondering whether I should buy it too. It seems fun. How is La Galissonière faring compared to d'Aosta ? I planned to keep all French cruisers in the tier 6 to 8, but if d'Aosta is as fun as it seems to be, I may just settle for an Aoba, the d'Aosta, and a Cleveland. And I'll just keep prying next ranked season is tier 6.^^

Non mais même sans blindage, le problème du machin c'est qu'il se fait overmatch le pont. Autrement dit tu peux t'angler, tu peux faire ce que tu veux, tous les obus qui vont bounce sur un fichu Des Moines ou Zao, bah là ça sera une pénétration à 4000 dans ta tronche. Même pas besoin de cita.

Non mais tant que l'armure de pont n'est pas améliorée, le truc sera m*rdique de toute façon. Les croiseurs ont déjà assez de mal dans la meta des BB partout, et ils filent un truc qui n'a AUCUNE chance de bounce parce qu'il a du 25mm partout. C'est juste débile. Débile sans comparaison. Surtout qu'en plus les français avaient pour habitude his-to-ri-que (je sais que WG a du mal avec ce mot) de faire une bonne protection horizontale. Richelieu et Strasbourg après modification en sont des exemples parfait. Ce truc a besoin de blindage et de canons à minima. Là il n'a ni l'un ni l'autre et ce n'est pas juste en retirant 2s de reload (si jamais ils le fassent...) que ça va changer quoi que ce soit, sérieusement... Il faut buff ce navire dans TOUS LES DOMAINES.

I often find myself in disagreement with Flamu opinion you know. For example his review of Dunkerque was totally opposite of my impression of the ship, and I still find it very strong. But here iChase clearly lack objectivity. Saying "This tier X is like an Ibuki so it's fine"... I'm sorry but no. I already have trouble seeing the difference between Atago and Ibuki, so a tier X described by that kind of comment just can't be fine. Flamu video was clear : this ship has too many huge flaws at the moment.

Swap Preventive Maintenance for Priority Target, swap Basic of Survivability for Demolition Expert (BoS is a skill for battleships), and you can keep CE, but as I said before, if you plan to uses the captain later on Budyonny, you'll need IFHE more than anything. This one is more tricky : You don't need BFT, and even less Manual AA : Any CV with half a brain won't approach a Cleveland anyway. Get AFT so that your AA can cover a longer range and your AA consumable will panic planes from further away. But that's more than enough. Get DE instead of Vigilance. I know that Vigilance is nice and all, but honestly even if you wanna support battleships and spot torpedoes for them, it's too situational to be worth 3 points, DE on the contrary will helps you a lot. And the 19th, you uses it on either Double Plane, or Preventive Maintenance. 12% Improvement isn't bad at all. Especially for only 2 points and without downside. The main point of EM is that it allows the turrets to stay focused even with max steering. Vigilance is nice, But I really don't feel like I need it. Just use WASD.hax and you'll rarely have any problem with the torps. High Alert on a cruiser is... meh. Adrenaline Rush on the other hand is a very, very strong skill now. I'm more using it on BBs, but it's useful on some cruisers. I have it on Moskva for example. I still think you should take EM first. You can pass on EM for cruisers with fast turret like Atlanta and Minotaur, but that's about all.

You can take IFHE for Kirov later too. If you want to keep Kitov, Concealment Expert should be your priority to compesante for your horrible concealment and paper armor. If you want to go higher on the line, then IFHE is your priority. The skill does wonder for 150 to 180mm guns, allowing to penetrate BBs more easily with HE (you notably will penetrate the bow and the aft no matter the angle), hence being less reliant on fire starting to get damage. It's useful on Kirov, but not as much as on Budyonny, Shchors, Chapa and Donskoi, simply because Kirov mostly uses its incredible AP and fight weaker armored BBs. TL;DR : CE is nice on Kirov, but you should only take it after IFHE if you plan to move the captain on higher tier cruisers. You can choose different variation of course, but you can never go wrong with PT, EM, DE and CE.

Essaye d'utiliser plus souvent ses AP peut-être. Il est aussi brutal que Kirov quand il s'agit de massacrer un croiseur tier 5/6 de flanc.

La première chose à faire c'est de changer soit son blindage soit sa maniabilité. Il ne peut pas rester à la fois le moins blindé et le moins agile. C'est juste absurde. Pour la vitesse je suis d'accord. Ils devraient tous pouvoir DE BASE rivaliser avec les croiseurs russes, et le boost devrait les faire passer à 41/42 noeuds.

Ah mais j'aurais tout aussi gueulé si c'était la branche Sino-taïwanaise. Je veux des croiseurs jouables dans une meta qui favorise actuellement à mort les cuirassés. C'est pas compliqué à comprendre quand même. WG sait qu'il y a trop de BB, et ils nous sortent un engin qui hurle "tirez-moi dessus avec un gros calibre je suis en carton-pâte !" C'est pas ça qui va pousser les gens à grind les croiseurs... Et donc, gobo, si le t10 ne t'intéresse pas, ne vient pas te plaindre qu'on râle quand le truc n'a pour ainsi dire que des défauts. De mon côté je me suis promis de monter la branche et de garder les tiers 6/7/8, mais j'aimerais aussi monter une branche qui me permette d'accéder à un t10 potable, sinon je peux aussi laisser tomber l'idée maintenant et freepex le Cleveland histoire d'arriver sur un t10 bien pété. En attendant, la release est visiblement prévue pour dans une vingtaine de jours, on a toujours pas le serveur test, et depuis les premiers tests et la fin du NDA on a toujours pas vu l'ombre d'un changement sur ces croiseurs. Je commence à être franchement pessimiste et je crains vraiment que WG va nous release le t10 comme tel et faire la sourde oreille.
