Vire moi-ça, tu y gagnes quatre points.

You still didn't answer my question and how I pointed you're contradicting yourself. You're amazing at sophistry and personal attack. -

Lol. Dude, you said "if one class can carries better than other, they'll be obviously more played". According to your own words, the current BB population over the very few player still playing CV at high tier shows that BBs effectively carries better. Either you're contradicting yourself or you're shooting yourself in the foot. Which one do you prefer ? -
I like one detail in this. Each time someone tried to attack Russia directly, they all lost the same way to the scortched earth tactic. Carolus, Napoleon, Hitler... they never learned. ^^ (Also, that's Sabaton for you, never enough of them)

And the "boar better than the rest" are currently... the battleships. Too bad for you. -
Nope. I would know if there was, as I always keep an eye on the seasonal chart. xD

The overall design of the 109 was too obsolete by the end of the war. The engine were keeping up, but not the "shape" (I don't know how to express that in English) and the controls had a tendency to stiffen like crazy at higher speed. FW190 and Ta152 were much better in that regard. Especially Ta152 which was completely worked from 0 to create something new. You're right about the Tempest tho. Fantastic planes, heavy with a huge engine that allowed impressive acceleration (both Mk V and MkII). But I still think Spitfire Griffon, and Mk22 in particular were somehow amongst the best of the best. If you're talking about F8F being contemporary with N1K, then you could almost talk about the J7W1, or even the P-80 that did fly in Europe at the end of the war but never engaged in any combat as they were top secret. I think it's a bit of an unfair comparison actually. If they didn't take part in any battle until after 1945 (F8F only fought in the Indochine war under French colors) they are post-war planes. Well... I should stop derailing there. xD -

It's more noticeable on 5 torps launchers. Triple launcher are more regular.

I'll wait for the first review of Enterprise before deciding. I love IJN Carriers, their design is beautiful (Essex is awesome too, but Lexington being a big, ugly brick... bleah), but I still don't know what to think about Kaga, and Hiryuu gave me a mild PTSD. Don't wanna spend money on a ship that would make me rage. So, let's wait and see for a bit.^^

^ This. Just yesterday, in my Khabarovsk, there was two torp very close to each other and one spread way far apart the other in the same torp salvo. Made me miss a bow-on Tirpitz at 4 km... (second salvo killed him, but still !)

Hood shreds Midway planes with the consumable. So it's not a very good idea to challenge it with any CV anyway. Iowa is actually weaker. But the TB aren't exactly the same as Hiryu. The torpedoes are waaaay faster and hurts much more, so I thought dropping at very long range could work. Even if the plane are the same garbage, dropping from further could work better when uptiered compared to Hiryuu which is forced to scout the whole match.
-
Like Hiryuu ? You can't even manage a couple of torp hit by sniping out of stronger AA range thanks to their speed ? Because Hiryuu in tier 9 matches against Iowa or other BS can't do crap, I hoped Kaga could at least manage to avoid the full brunt of the AA. Also I guess the 1-1-3 setup is utterly worthless. Would have been a great ship for ranked if they gave it a 3-1-1 or 3-2-0 alternate setup. (more scouting)

That was a comparison... ever heard of it ? A7M barely existed because of a huge idiot called Minoru Genda, but that's another story. N1K was the rival of A7M. Once again it's the same issue that plagued (among other things) the Japanese production of war : Army wanted their plane, they got the N1K, Navy wanted their plane, they got the A7M from a different designer, while it was in facts very similar. Both were too late still. Japanese definitely lost the war at Midway. F8F isn't even late war, it's post-war. So it's obviously better. Anyway in my book best planes design of WW2 were late Spitfire, and maybe some of the late FW190 and Ta152. But I can't agree with calling japanese fighters planes crappy, they weren't. It's not like the Tiger H tank which is a retarded design since the beginning. They would have been better off producing more Panthers and Panzer IV instead. I'm not a weeb (well, not entirely at least), but I'm kind of tired of hearing the BS version from the victors too. The truth is in the middle. I read a very interesting article featuring an interview of Saburo Sakai and that does put things into an interesting perspective. -

No, that's not the "weeb version". Japan lost because they couldn't win from the beginning and their strategy was faulty. Even Yamamoto was aware of this. When you are on the verge of a civil war, with the two most importants side of the army (the Army and the Navy) each struggling against each others for power, to the point each of them wanted their own planes even when the concept was the same at the end, you just can't compete with US Industry. But on the other hand, saying that Japanese fighters were crap is utter nonsense. They were great planes. But they required good pilots with experience, they required a much more heavy industry to mass produce them. By the time Japan produced planes that had a bit of armor to protect the pilot, they didn't have enough pilots anymore and were overwhelmed by numbers. Reppu, N1K, were very good planes, largely on par with F6F or F4U. But you can't win 50 vs 1. The Tiger legend on the other hand is utter nonsense. -

They weren't "superior" except in durability. A7M Reppu and N1K Nakajima were awesome planes in their time. Basically, Japanese fighters were fine jewels delicately manufactured while US fighters were mass-produced industrial rough design. When you're fighting 1 versus 50, with mostly beginner pilots, you just can't win. That's all there's to it. -
I planned to play Saint Louis with CE, 40% ruddershift, engine boost unique module and engine upgrade. Coupled with Reload module for more daka daka. I'm still at Martel, but I think it could work. Engine upgrade is here to handle the speed loss when turning, Ruddershift is here to kite (40% is enough IMO). The detectability is indeed an issue however. I don't know if my setup would work. Currently I'm having some success with a standard 20% rudder / 10% concealment setup + CE on Martel. Maybe I can just go back to that on Saint Louis if my idea doesn't work. Well, I can manage with 12/13 km concealment on Hinden and Moskva. Sooo ? I guess it's workable ?

Ouais.
-
Other ships ? Which are ?
-
Apparently other CV murders it, it's "reppu"-lsive.

Ça m'a financé Khabarovsk. -_-
