It's far more tanky than Moskva (Moskva can only reasonably tank at max range on the deck armor), can take a beating at close range thanks to the bow armor and the turtleback, has way better concealment than the Moskva, and can delete a BB with its tons of torp at close range without fearing the delete like Zao (or Mino) does. Who at t10 doesn't angle ? Most players, seriously. You can find a ton of idiots in this game that never angle, or in cases of cruisers just open the broadside enough to get triple citadelled. Even at 14-15km you can get AP salvoes at 12-15k damage on broadsides BBs, and I won't believe you if you say can't find a broadside BB in tier 10 battle. You can only see the bad points it seems. Hindenburg is one of the strongest cruiser in random FFA battles. It's very versatile, can take a beating, have reasonable concealment, is incredibly dangerous when ambushing or at close range. It's the best cruiser to play agressively and carry a team of random bobs. Sure, you don't want to fight an angled DM, or get caught in the torrent of shells from a Minotaur in its smoke. But who does ? However, if there's is one cruiser that doesn't need to shy away from the frontline and kite while praying that a BB won't get a lucky random citadel hit, it's the Hindenburg. You can push very seriously, and almost play it like a small battleship. Or in other words, it's the cruisers that is the less dependent of its team.

Lolnope. Hindenburg is amazing, very good at carrying tier 10 team. It's tanky, have a bunch of torpedoes with very good angle for close range, and the guns hurts a lot when it can find broadside. The last buff also allows for easy damage with HE.

French navy has its share of fans too. Richelieu is also famous ship on par with Roma and the whole Littorio class. At least I knew Richelieu for far longer than any South Dakota or North Carolina class. There's a bunch of interesting French DDs too. And French navy was one of the 5 most powerful in the world at the outbreak of WW2. However, we're not talking about very long term IMO. Jean Bart is already modeled ingame, while even Roma WG promised as a premium isn't yet.

You're not obligated to give Jean Bart the 1955 AA refit. The 57mm are indeed way too powerful. I think a WW2 fitting would be better.

As for why... well, for the first two because I really like the composer, and for the third because I need epic sh*t like Sabaton in my life.

Jean Bart is more interesting from an historical point of view. As long as we get a Richelieu in the standard tech tree of course. Also as Exocet said, this A-X configuration would be horrible to play at tier 8. It may be ok as a tier 7 with sufficient nerfs, but in tier 8 it just can't fight anything without exposing huge weaknesses. And I don't see the point of the Clemenceau compared to Richelieu or Jean Bart. It didn't even exist, so at least go for one of the two that were present during the war...

Nothing changed for now. We only knows that in the last leak, higher tier of the RN BB line got the 1/4 caliber rule.

I just took my beloved ARP Kongo for a game since it's been a while I played it. I was in a tier 6 match, and at one point an US DD (I think a Farragut), tried to ambush our Galissonière from behind and island. I deleted his remaining HP with a single salvo : 5 overpen, 5500 damage, more than half his HP gone and he didn't even had the time to uses his torpedoes. 5500 damage on a tier 6 DD with a tier 5 BB would be like 2 citadel hits on a same tier cruiser. I never does that kind of damage with cruisers HE on DDs in a single salvo, even with very brutal ships like Martel or Kutuzov. Clearly BB AP need a huge nerf against destroyers, they deal far too much damage. (Also Kongo is still the same beast as ever, very easy to play agressively and to uses its speed to ruin the day of the enemy team) I'm still playing cruiser, but I feel like I'm wasting my time. Even more when I'm seeing the first RN BBs stats that will basically makes all the cruisers obsolete...

I do agree on this. I noticed those hilarious URL some months ago and I always check them each time I read a news in the official website. C'est l'idée. Juste que par rapport au Henri t'es plus brutal contre les DD et en début de partie tu scores plus facilement à longue portée grâce à la balistique. En fin de partie le Henri va plus se jouer en contest d'objectifs et en flank quand le Moskva bulldoze.

Les bots sont de sales tricheurs de toute façon. Ils savent où se trouve toute l'équipe adverse et ils savent viser. Et ils considèrent le ramming comme une bonne solution de dernier recours aussi, les saligauds. (Essayez de lancer une salle d'entraînement dans une petite map face à 12 DD low tier (torpilles rapides à reload) et avec 11 DD low tier dans votre camps. C'est hilarant. Et brutal.) En fait ils sont meilleurs que la plupart des joueurs de bas niveau. Ils sont pas super doués pour jouer l'objectif mais ils sont agressifs et ne ratent pas une cible broadside. Je pourrais avoir des bots dans mes équipes de FFA please ?

Sinon je suis très déçu. Personne ne lui conseille de remplacer la smoke par le chasseur, et d'ajouter Double chasseur + Expert Rear Gunner en compétence du commandant. C'est bien plus intéressant qu'IFHE pour les secondaires enfin. (PS : sinon le rayon de smoke ou Jack of All Trade c'est plus intéressant qu'EM sur un Neptune qui a des tourelles rapides.)

Et t'en as rien à carrer de Vigilance quand tu affrontes un CV.^^ De toute le Budyo a une AA pourrie, mais le boost est là pour éviter les ennuis.
