En soit, c'est juste. L'invasion de la Mandchourie est un facteur décisif. Mais comme l'Allemagne, tout ça a une origine, et de mon point de vue, le traité de Washington a été pour les japonais ce que Versailles a été aux allemands. Washington ça a été une croix sur les ambitions d'expansionnisme japonais pendant un bon moment. En soit c'était pas une mauvaise chose. Le problème c'est que les américains savaient parfaitement à l'avance (par espionnage des communications) jusqu'où les japonais accepteraient de compromettre lors de la négociation du traité, et leur ont fait signer exactement ce qu'ils voulaient. Ça a tendu encore plus la situation interne Armée-Marine du Japon qui était déjà pas jojo à l'époque, et c'est plus ou moins à l'origine de tout le reste.

Pour moi la guerre a plus ou moins déjà commencée quand les américains ont arnaqués sans vergogne les japonais au traité naval de Washington et que ceux-ci s'en sont rendus compte après. Ça date de 1922...

I'm at 12 points right now, waiting patiently to get my 13th and 14th in order to spec it with IFHE. Right now I'm spamming AP and that works very well considering 90% of the DDs in the server play broadside in a DD vs DD duel.^^ I specced it with PT, LS, SE and CE for now. With the 100 of course. I'll get IFHE next, then AR, and last but not least TAE. 16.1k HP is great, seriously. That's a 20% improvement over your base HP. Also I love that 9.4 km range. It's awesome to disappear the second you killed your DD opponent because nobody else is in your range.

Je suis pas forcément d'accord avec ça. Après tout les allemands se sont empressés de balancer une Fritz X sur Roma dès qu'ils ont su qu'ils étaient plus avec eux. Rien n'empêche que si on avait inversé les camps, les anglais n'auraient pas tout fait pour couler la classe Littorio et Zara dans ces mêmes circonstances. Sinon pour sheep, je suis globalement d'accord mais sauf sur un point : je trouve que l'Histoire est très mal enseignée en France, ou du moins tant qu'on ne fait pas des études approfondies sur le sujet. La manière dont l'Histoire est enseignée au primaire-collège-lycée est pour moi très mal faites. Pas par les méthodes ou whatever, mais de part les programmes, et c'est de pire en pire. Mon cousin a passé le brevet des collèges récemment et j'ai trouvé ridicule la manière dont ils voient les choses. Franchement, de nos jours, une bonne partie des français ont leur bac, et la majorité ont au moins le brevet. Y en a combien qui connaissent l'Histoire de France ? Les seules choses qu'on leur fait apprendre en long, en large, en travers et en biais ce sont Louis XIV, la Révolution Française, et les deux Guerres Mondiales. Napoléon c'est limite si il est passé sous le tapis, les Rois de France entre Clovis et Louis XIV c'est le néant absolu ou presque (ok, on parle un peu de Charlemagne, mais ne serait-ce que Henri IV et François 1er ? A peine une ou deux pages du livre et encore). Même en ignorant mon chauvinisme intrinsèque, quand je vois la guerre froide résumée à "la décolonisation" (avec culpabilité prescrite par dose de 500mg "la colonisation c'est pas bien") et "un monde bipolaire" (surtout que cette fichue novlangue m'agace à un point) dans un bouquin, bah je déprime, voilà. On n'apprend plus rien dans ce pays. Déjà que résumer la WW2 aux méchants nazillards et aux certes horribles camps de concentration, ainsi qu'au chouchou de l'EducNat "la montée des dictatures" sans causer sérieusement ni de la Bataille d'Anglette, ni du front Soviet, ni de la Guerre du Pacifique... Okay, ça fait un moment que j'ai passé mon bac (S qui plus est) mais ça c'est pas arrangé depuis.

Le post de Tuccy plus bas. Donc pour moi soit KGV soit Nelson en tier 7 standard avec l'autre premium, et le "machin" en tier 8. A ce niveau là d'ailleurs je préférerais Nelson en standard vu qu'au moins il offrirait un gameplay un peu différent. Mais le simple fait que je dise ça suffit à démontrer qu'il sera premium.

Sérieusement y en a sur le topic anglais qui en sont à demander de release Roma ou Jean Bart en premier plutôt que ce truc. xD

Well well well. Why am I not surprised ? But don't worry, they will have a strong flavor of powercreep to please you peasants. I love the usual hypocrisy of "but that's datamined staaaaats". Datamined stats were usually very representative of what's to come. And for now I'm looking at the ugly head of a mean powercreep gnome.

Sinon de ce que j'ai vu sur le topic anglais : En gros WG a décidé de mettre KGV en T7 probablement premium... et Nelson reste le T7 standard. Vous pouvez sortir les torches. Ils mettent un paper de plus en t8. xD Et Vanguard ? "Lolilol" vous répond WG. Ils sont visiblement trop bêtes pour équilibrer ses 381 afin qu'ils soient compétitifs en t8.

As for other recommendation, there was a stream of "realistic" anime recently I loved. The three I can name right now are : - Joker Game. Episodic stories of Japanese spies before and during WW2. Really interesting, and shows the sheer incompetency of the higher-ups of Japan Army, even when provided with very competent spies. - ACCA 13. A complete made up country (a kingdom actually) made of 13 "districs" very different from each other. The 5 last episode are a real poker battle, where you search who's bluffing and who still didn't show his hand. A true masterpiece (if you like being mindblown by twists) with an atypic artstyle. - 91 Days. A vengeance story during the prohibition in the US. Also this season I'm more than pleasantly surprised by Princess Principal. A steampunk London, separated in two countries, and a bunch of girls (uncluding the 4th princess of the kingdom) playing at spies for the other side. Darker than I thought. Kajiura doing the music helps a lot. x) And for those that don't mind heavy ecchi (and harem), I suggest the Grisaia Series. It has quite horrible moments, and the season 1 is more of an introduction to the OAV and the season 2 (though with really badass moments), but I really recommend it. The second season was a masterpiece imo. (The order is Grisaia no Kajitsu -> Grisaia no Meikyuu -> Grisaia no Rakuen. Don't miss the OAV if you watch them)

So did they gave up on the KGV, or is this a premium ?

Why "almost" ? - Awesome torps - Can't tank sh#t but nobody cares anyway - Awesome handling - Decently fast - Decently stealthy - Smoke - Awesome AP - Awesome HE - Incredible range - No fly death zone even without being specced in AA I love that cruiser. Best way to relax after being nuked by RNG on a standard cruiser.

Hier en division North Carolina et Alabama j'ai fait un peu plus de 90k dmg en 39 obus au but et mon collègue autant en 34-35 obus au but. Et encore on a pas mal snipé à 17-18km, on aurait fait encore plus mal en moins d'obus si on avait eu besoin de se rapprocher. A part ça on a massacré les HP d'une bonne demi-douzaine de navires à nous deux (dont trois croiseurs (une devast chacun pour 15-20k HP), deux Bismarck un Tirpitz) qui ont été achevé par nos alliés la plupart du temps. Mais j'imagine que les BB sont trop nerf sinon. Essaye de jouer un DD furtif en tier 8+, génie. Tu m'en diras des nouvelles.

BFT is irrelevant in comparison to AR. Sure you have a bit more dakka dakka but AR is just too powerful for a lower cost. (At worst for a Benson or Fletcher you can totally skip Surintendent for BFT. I'm planning on using it on Lo Yang because I'm frequently shorts on hydro consumables despite having 3 of them with the premium charge) Also when you have Last Stand, I really don't see the point of PM. With a dedicated DD hunter anyway, you already have the advantage in a gunfight and Survivability Expert does the rest. If anything when I'm hunting other DDs I'm more scared of battleships AP and torpedoes launched at some point during the fight. And RPF also allows you to pick safer fights.

Did you see the link to the build I posted ? You just can't do better for a DD killer. Any other skill you would pick instead of RPF would be either useless or weaker.

I think I first bought IS-7 while keeping IS-8, then sold IS-8, then sold IS-7, then re-bought IS-8, then sold it and re-bought IS-7, and finally sold it and bought IS-8 that then got renamed into T-10 and I never regretted it since that 122mm is so much better than the IS-7 130mm shotgun. Also T-10 is overall much more fun.

And I'm explaining you RPF is not "irrelevant" since it's provides invaluable information for DD (or Minotaur) specialized in hunting other DD. And it's at a point you can just deny any cap to the other. You don't even need CVs permaspotting (which is actually one of the main DD counter). You're telling me why RPF is useless on cruisers/BB, I'm telling you why it's litteraly broken on DD specialized on hunting the other.

You're missing the point of the skill. It's entirely useless on cruisers and BBs if you have even a little bit of situational awareness. RPF worth is on DD specialized on hunting other DDs. Namely US DDs, german DDs and Lo Yang. And if you have the points to waste on it, it's also worth on pure torpedoboats like Shimakaze. On torpedoboat it's because RPF can tell you if there's a sneaky hunter between you and your target. (Which is valuable information) On DD hunter it's just a really worth investment : not only you know where you opponent is, but you'll have the guns directly turned on his exact position the second you spot him. I know an unicum/DD main that basically told me "with Fletcher or Benson with RPF, I'm like a rocket directly guided on enemies DD. It's so easy it's not even fun". RPF is the cherry on top, much more worth than BFT or Vigilance. Vigilance is basically useless since RPF will tell you where the torps are coming from anyway, and BFT is largely offset by AR and the facts you'll have the first salvo advantage since your guns are locked onto the enemy DD the second it's spotted. The only interesting skill I skip here is actually Torpedo Armament Expertise.

Oh but I'll use it on my Lo Yang when I'll have the points anyway. Will be fun to hunt and sink hopeless little DDs that can't even smoke to get away since I have a balanced 5.4km hydro on top.

En France on va même bien trop dans l'autre sens, à se culpabiliser éternellement pour des broutilles ou carrément pour des trucs dont on n'a clairement pas à avoir honte, mais bref... c'est un autre débat.

Well, yeah, it's incredibly annoying to fight against when you're in a stealthy DD like Kagero and a Benson is using it to deny you absolutely any chance to cap or torp. But it's "no big deal". Sure. It's not like DD needed another counter. Though BB and cruisers players don't give *Edited about it.

Did ragequit the Neptune grind and the Tashkent once. But until now I kept my four tier X (Yamato, Hindenburg, Moskva and Khabarovsk) in the port, even if I'm rarely playing Yamato. I'd say I'm doing better than I did in WoT, selling shamelessy at least twice the Foch 155, twice or thrice the IS-7, sold the JPE100 and favoured the E-100 instead, and so on. xD
