Higher than that and I'll keep my freeXP for my stock Saint Louis and the RN BBs tech tree. -

If you set it too high, you would have even less sales than if you set it as a "normal" premium tier 7 tho. 300k is reasonable, more is too much. Actually, even at 300k I'm sure as hell I won't buy it without a reduction in free XP conversion and a huge farm with my Harekaze. -

You do know 250.000 freepex requires 10.000 golds (okay, 7200 golds when there are reduction in XP conversion), and that's the price for a Saipan or any other tier 7 premium (DD excluded) ? Don't get too carried away with the price please, it doesn't justify being more expensive than any other tier 7. Actually, 350k freepex would be equivalent to 50€ of gold (14500 golds), and even an Alabama is cheaper than that. -

I calculated yesterday with a friend 788k for a fully upgraded Iowa starting from tier 3, and 244k for a fully upgraded Colorado. Something like that. -
Okinawa is horrible because team tend to search for cover at A (which is understandable) and then lose in fear of pushing. But worst map IMO is Tears of the Desert, that I often call Tears of the Cruisers. The cover are too far from each other, cruisers can't uses it at all while sniping battleship just have enough range. They need to either make the islands closer to each other, reduce the scale of the map, or add more cover in the middle.

I believe this is a far too tricky question to just answer a massive Yes or a massive No. - On USN BB, I think the concealment build is okay. HOWEVER I would nerf it on both NC and Iowa. 11.8 and 12.2 are just too low. They should go around 12.5 for NC and 13 for Iowa at least. I do think the 13.5 of Montana is okay given its playstyle of "mobile, mid-range artillery platform". Montana is to be played constantly in movement and the concealment is needed in order to use the whole 12 guns : that's what it's made for. CE build allows to flank the enemy team in order to get devastating salvoes, and that's okay. - On KM BB, Scharnhorst, Bismarck and Tirpitz need nerfs. Popping at 12.3km with a Tirpitz when your secondaries starts firing at 11 is ridiculous. - On IJN BBs, I think 13.5km concealment Yamato is also okay. It's exactly its range of confort, not too close and yet not too far since at this range Yamato will always be a target for the enemy team. Amagi is more of a battlecruiser/flanker, like Montana, so the CE playstyle suits it well. Izumo would maybe deserves a bit of buff in the concealment area even, it's just spotted way too far for its tanking ability. What I think need change however, is the time to recloack battleships. Currently they all recloack before they even finished reloading their main guns. Which means absolutely no loss when firing continuously, unlike a CL with 6 seconds reload or even a CA with 15. This has to change. I would like to see all BBs with 35seconds of recloacking between shots. Also some CAs deserves concealment buff IMO. Mid-tier in particular. Maybe give access to concealment module to all tier 6-7 CAs. And Moskva 13.8 is a bit too much IMO.

Yeah but a tier 7 premium isn't anything unheard of, unlike a tier 9 that print 1 million credits per battle. If they make Nelson too expensive it will just not sell at all. 200-250k is the logical price. -
Ouais.
-
You just proven you know nothing, just like John Snow. Benson and Fletcher detectability is 5.8 with CE and all the other things. Yuugumo is 5.5 and Harekaze/Kagero 5.4. 300 meters difference just' isn't enough to keep the gunboat spotted without being spotted yourself. Even worse, Shimakaze and Gearing concealment is the exact same.

Well, he also didn't take a step out of tier 7, so his idea about balance in tier 9-10 are...

RN BB don't have radar now. It was removed. And that's BS anyway. DDs are still supposed to be stronger against BBs than any class, and they are supposed to takes less damage from BB than any other class too. Also I still don't get why the hell making all DD less vulnerable to battleships AP will affect DD vs DD gunfights ? That's comparing apple to orange there.
-
Because DDs are the freaking COUNTER to battleships, and they DON'T have citadel. I'm playing Montana since last week you know. I already "blap"-ed some DD for 15-16k AP salvoes. Never did I even try to switch to HE, I know my AP are more than enough. And with Montana accuracy coupled with 12 high-velocity shell, you can try to dodge all you want, if I aimed well, it hit. I don't even need to hit a lot, just 2-3 hits would suffice to shave any DD of 20-25% of its HP. And that's at mid-range. At close I devastates them. I play a mix of DD-BB-CAs, with probably more battle in CA and BBs, since I mostly uses premium DD (too lazy to grind) or Khabarovsk.

I'm not too concerned about KGV (I'm not a die-hard RN fan anyway). But I want the Nelson, I know I'm not the only one that want it, and after Warspite and Hood, adding both Nelson and Vanguard behind the paywall isn't... the best way for WG to do things. It's just... very insulting. Like "if you want any famous ship, pay for it." Especially when you put a paper at t8. So I hope you will find a less awkward solution than paying 45 + 35 € for two historical ships. -

I expected Vanguard to be premium. It's more of a battlecruiser than a battleship, and it would have been a fine "tier 8 Scharnhorst". But Warspite + Hood + Nelson + Vanguard ? Come on, that's more than half the line-up of famous ships. -_- Dunkerque is a BC more than a BB too, so people not playing her to her strengh isn't very strange. It's not an easy ship. And Izumo have issues by being a tier 9 with a lot of shortcoming. Especially when WG goes to buff Iowa citadel that never needed it, buff FdG secondaries that never needed it, and forget entirely Izumo which is performing quite badly compared to the other two. Izumo need a bit more love. Maybe make the second turret able to rotate 360° or something. But it's not the turret setup per se that is an issue, after all it's very much like a North. It's the combination of "worst tier 9 BB + huge and fragile deck + not very accurate guns + no concealment at all + AA-what-is-this-? " -

Izumo isn't an issue. Gameplay wise, it's better to give interesting ship as silver ships. Izumo is a bit strange but is tier 9 which makes it all the more harder and it's biggest issues anyway are the horrible AA, vulnerability to HE spam and lack of concealment, nothing to do with the turret arrangement. Nelson is tier 7. And I'm not talking about a sub branch, but an alternative. You know a bit WoT ? Jagdpanther (tier 7) goes to Ferdinand (tier 8) and JagdPanther 2 (tier 8) both, and both goes to Jagdtiger (tier 9) Not good with general audience ? Seriously, from where does this come from ? If the forum is anything to go by, most of us waiting for the RN line are disappointed to see the only really "atypic and historical" BB isn't there on the release. I know we aren't the "general audience"; but the "general audience" is clueless anyway. They'll takes what's coming and that's all. I really don't see how you could make it a premium ship without most of us going mad. Freepex stuff isn't very enticing either but at least a bit better (and no 500k freepex please, you need not even half of it to go to tier 7 from 1). The only option I can see without triggerring anyone would be the equivalent of Shinonome, though harder. -
Yeah, tier 8-10 lost both radar and defAA in the last test changelog.

I still call BS on the "Nelson is too strange for regular players, so we make it a premium". WHY can't you JUST make it as an alternative grind ? You did it on WoT for more than one tank (Ferdinand/JP2 is the best example, one is historical, the second is a prototype), that NEVER caused any issue. Just make it so that QE can grind both Nelson and KGV, and if that really is an issue for you, make Nelson 50k XP more expensive. Only players motivated by her would grind her, the other would get the KGV by default, and most players in this game go by the "default" option. And why is having a different ship an issue anyway ? We already have Warspite and Hood as premium, Hood even already sitting in the tier 7 bracket. Now you want Nelson/Rodney as premium, and you'll likely follow with Vanguard in tier 8 ? I really can't call anything but BS at that. Or at least just admit you want money. -
Lol, Yamato becoming obsolete, that's a good one. It's still a monster in the hands of a good player. It's just that Montana and GK are much easier to play, but that doesn't change the facts a Yamato with a good tank+AR+reload mod build is incredibly dangerous. Also, if Yamamoto really get those skills, I'll put him in a Mogami. Much better chance for first blood (though I don't really care), and if I ever get a Kraken, imagine those 15x155 spewing fire every 6.6 seconds ! And also that would make it the first standard CA with a heal. :3
