Well, I saw the subbed version of Violet Evergarden episode 1 this morning. It answered to my expectation. Amazingly beautiful, emotion very well conveyed, very nice starts overall. I want moar. So, the MC is a girl that was trained as a super-soldier all her live, and now that the war is over and won, she lost one arm, and the Major that cared for her obviously dead, she's lost her purpose and don't know what to do. Anyway, have a best-girl Isokaze. -
Ben c'est un Yamato en terme d'agencement du blindage quoi... Le Musashi là c'est un Yamato sans AA et moins précis. Il reste quand même un Yamato. Si tu sais placer un Yamato, tu sais te placer en Musashi. Et la zone de confort du Yamato c'est 12km-15km, soit autour de sa dissimulation.

WG a déjà fait la même chose sur WoT. Ils offraient le D. Max aux joueurs absent très longtemps. L'Ashitaka après... c'est vraiment un cadeau ? L'Ishizuchi est pas mal pété par contre.

Since I didn't watch Violet Evergarden yet (well, duh) I can't talk much about the plot. However it's a project teased by KyoAni from as far as one year and a half ago (yeah, before even the second season of Euphonium), and both the stunning visual and KyoAni reputation for great QUALITY anime is enough for me to get f*cking hyped. It could be a true masterpiece, and the original novel is already quite well received overall it seems. -
I'd buy this. Just because it would be so ridiculous. Then I'd sold it because I would feel so guilty.

First episode airs today in Japan. EDIT : more accurately : aired few hours ago. Subs will come soon or tomorrow. I think Netflix got the licence for D+1 subs but I'll even watch it raw if I find it before lol. -

Both Kaga and Hiryuu can severely outplay Saipan. Saipan is stupidly strong, but a good IJN CV captain can easily gives the Saipan a run for its money. First Kaga can utterly outdamage the Saipan and farm the hell out of the enemy team. Saipan is dangerous for DDs mostly, while Kaga is dangerous for everything. The fast torps and the very scary pattern makes it an incredible DD hunter, and the raw damage allows for heavy-AA ships to be sniped out of the short range (mostly US BBs or KM BB) that Saipan simply can't approach. Hiryuu fighters with the AS skill and the +20%DPS can easily 1v1 each fighter squad of Saipan. And Saipan can be bleed rather out of plane if you're conservative, save your planes and destroy Saipan fighters one after another. If you're against a good Saipan player, you'll have trouble, but you can annoy him as much as he does. The true danger of Saipan fighters is their speed and the out-of-straff mechanic. Over which number of battle ? I mean, under 150 battles the winrate is usually not relevant at all. You can always have a streak of bad team. That happens. But over several hundred, individual player skill matters more and more because it's the only things that's constant. There's no such thing as "they always end in MY team". That's not how random works. -

All IJN is the best for beginners. Get Kongou-Fusou-Nagato, Myoukou (the fun starts really early at Kuma, and the playstyle doesn't change much from Furutaka to Zao, with the exception of Mogami), Fubuki, Ryujou, and learn with those. US CVs tier 8+ are great now that they fixed the loadout too. -
I derped around a bit with Harekaze with TRB in FFA last week, I intended to farm all the BB farming the DoY missions. I never, ever killed so many DDs and CLs in their smoke, this easily. Trying the same things in ranked could work I think. It's more risky because there are loads of Lo Yang with hydro and there are CV quite often, but I don't know why it would be a bad choice over Smoke when you're playing against Radar and hydro and you're not confident you can bait them easily. At least TRB makes you play more cautiously.

Being completely afk and not even moving rewards 0 XP and 0 credits. Also most player are just stupid and don't understand the first thing about the game. They aren't bots. Bots knows how to aim.

Rang 10... avant ça c'est la jungle, d'après mes expériences précédentes... Et j'ai juste pas la motivation de devoir carry des bots jusqu'au rang 10.

Bah si tu veux, déjà qu'en ce moment je suis en baisse d'activité (moins de temps pour jouer + d'autres jeux en cours + pas motivé à la base pour les classées), j'ai juste sorti l'Alabama chopé dans un conteneur Noël pour tester l'engin, et fait joujou en Kutuzov. Sur les trois parties, j'en ai gagné deux, et sur les trois, j'ai eu l'impression de faire du 1v13. Une fois ça va, j'ai carry en Alabama et démoli des Tirpitz de flanc. Mais déjà j'ai pas trouvé ça fun. Il est où le niveau quand je met du 30k à chaque salve sur des mecs qui savent pas s'angler. Deux fois ça se supporte, deuxième partie en Alabama qu'on perd au temps parce que pendant que je faisais le job au milieu de la map, nos trois autres cuirassés ont poursuivi un unique Hipper au lieu de revenir vers les objectifs. Troisième fois ça a suffit... En Kutuzov j'ai littéralement massacré tout ce qui se présentais devant moi et dézingué un autre Kutuzov à l'AP. Aucun challenge, juste du farming. Depuis qu'il a 7.7km de détection dans sa smoke, je peux pas me placer trop agressivement, juste assez près pour rendre dingue les BBs. D'à partir du moment où je vois les Ranked comme une corvée, j'estime que c'est pas la peine d'essayer.

Returning on the topic of age in Kancolle, it's very variable. Takao and Myoukou class are adult. I mean, for example Maya mention Champagne in her Chrismas line and that means she's 21 year old at least given the legal age in Japan. Aoba and Furutaka on the other hand are 16-17. As for the DDs it's even more random. The Shiratsuyu are clearly 15-16. Akizuki are more on the 17-18 side. Akatsuki are 11-12. Some like Fumizuki goes from 9 year old at low level to 13-14 at Kai Ni. The oldest are obviously the CVs and BBs. Houshou is around 30 I think and is probably the oldest character. Followed by Nagato class and Yamato, and by the first cardiv (Kaga, Akagi) -
Kagero et cheat c'est antinomique. Encore tu me dirais Harekaze qui cumule les guns de l'Akizuki et la détection du Kagero... et même lui n'est qu'un DD fun mais équilibré. D'ailleurs personne n'a tenté les classées en Aki ici ? Il est pas mal populaire côté forum uk chez les bons joueurs. Presque autant que Lo Yang et Kidd. Bon perso j'ai fait trois parties en classées depuis le début de saison, ça à suffit à me faire fuir. Je m'amuse plus en Atlanta en FFA.

Qu'il dit. J'ai un processeur équivalent à un i2 avec juste une chipset graphique AMD Radeon de base intégrée sur mon portable. (Au moins mon fixe est un i5 avec une 1070 6Go mais je ne peux pas l'utiliser tous les jours non plus...) La dernière fois que j'ai essayé, le pack d'Aslain avait pas le truc des textures compressées à jour, je réessayerais à l'occase. -
Me. I doubt I'm the only one. The XP needed for tier 4 to 10 is roughly the same no matter the class you play anyway. Seriously, give me a tier 8 Amatsukaze at 500k XP or a tier 9 Porter at 750k and I would uses my freepex for them. I also plan to get Musashi btw. Will be a bit more unique and interesting to play than an Iowa with Radar.

Kii can easily takes any IJN BB commander and performs well with it. You can also wait for Musashi. :3

My most fun ship I guess : - Kongou. I just can't get enough of that burning love. Also she's still very fun to play in tier 7 matches. - Atlanta. As other said, not an easy ship. But oh boy it's soooo fun closing a cap with your sole presence, nuking DD at close range before they even get the chance to launch torps, while at the same time being a no-fly zone for CVs and driving BBs mad with the amount of spamming over island you dish out. Actually most dangerous opponents for Atlanta are cruisers with 203mm. They overmatch it at every angle, won't overpen, and have the reload to kill it in two salvoes at most. And they are fast enough to catch it. PS : I'm a Dark Souls player and enthusiast. - Harekaze. The most versatile DD I played til now. Fast, great guns, decent torps, very stealthy, and even the AA to shot down spotter planes. - Kutuzov. It's completely stupid to play, utterly broken, but farming BB is enjoyable. - Hindenburg. Same as Kutuzov, but adding the incredible brawling potential. - Montana. Oversized Kongou. What's not to love ?

Around the same as a Lo Yang or any other tier 8 premium DD. So way cheaper than premium BB or CA. Also she got a sweet camo giving +50% Freepex among other bonuses. With the appropriate flags you can easily do 8-10k freepex with your x1.5. Overall it's a great DDs, and I think Wargaming should re-sale her, as it's one of the most interesting premium DD out there. But I can't guarantee anything sadly.

Whatever. Even giving me a freepex Agano class (gib Yahagi) at tier 6 would make me happy. As long as it's not another battleship and not yet another "other-cruiser-killer-CA" like Stalingrad will most likely be. How about a free-XP Yuudachi, or even better at tier 8, a freeXP Amatsukaze ? Amatsukaze was a Kagero-class in which they mounted the prototype boiler of the Shimakaze and she did speed trial with them. We could have a Kagero with the same engine boost as french cruisers. That would be gimmicky enough for WG.
