Les "vrais" missiles sur les avions on les voit pas avant le Vietnam... tranquille de ce côté là. Au mieux on peut parler des roquettes anti-bombardiers montées en vrac sur les Me262 mais ce ne sont que ça : des roquettes non guidées. Les missiles guidés faut attendre MiG-21 en gros pour en voir, et encore on parle de truc semi-guidés comme les Kaliningrad K-5. Fin y a vraiment, vraiment rien de transcendant. T'as largement de quoi aller jusqu'aux jets seconde génération et bien plus encore avant de les atteindre. xD PS : D'ailleurs les ricains ont eu bien l'air bête au début, quand ils ont essayés les premiers avion tout-missiles : "Chef. J'ai tout raté. Et j'ai pas de canon. Par contre le MiG qui m'arrive dessus lui il en a. Et j'ai la bête impression que son pilote sourit. A pleines dents."

Seriously, there are still people complaining that a CA can kite a BB to death ? I mean, it's just shows that you plainly sucks at aiming, period. Cruiser are currently the hardest class to play. A big mistake is an instant death, no matter if we're talking tier 6, 8 or 10. They kite because they don't have the choice. And if you have trouble with fire, you're nothing short of an idiot that can't manage his DCP properly. I got a Montana with Fire Prevention and the DCP upgrade. Against cruiser it's plain disgusting. I have 28 seconds of no-dots as soon as I hit DCP (meaning I can usually hit the DCP as soon as I get hit by a torp and tank the next one coming 20 seconds later without issue, I trolled so many DDs this way), I only have one fire max on the center of my hull, and I got 12 guns ready to blap any cruiser with very good accuracy. Doing damage with Montana (and meaningful damage, which means citadel hits on cruisers and BB, full penetrating hit, and blaping DDs for half their health) is just so easy. If you really think cruisers are soooo easy, go grab a f*cking Mogami and comes tell me how EASY this ship is to play. Or even better, try Moskva. Well, it's not like I expected anything else from a German BB main. Typical. You should add "MUH BISMARCK BEST BATTLEBOAT" in your signature to be more authentic.

It's an interesting read, but I still think SI is way better on high-tier cruisers with heal. Mostly because you also get another hydro/radar/speed boost/DAA that is always useful. Especially the radar and speed boost. SE on the other hand is amazing on gunboat DDs, especially Harekaze, Akizuki and US. Definitely a top pick over a smoke charge. -

Makes the game the "Dark Souls of WW2 warships" ! Casul will have to git gud or die. Practically speaking, add a rolling command. If player are skilled enough to roll and iframe torpedoes and BB shells, they pass. -

IFHE is worth on any 150-180mm cruisers, german excepted (they have it built-in). DE or not. The increase in DPM you get offset more than largely the loss of fire chance. IFHE could reduces my fire chance by 10%, I still would pick it on Kutuzov because I can still do reliable 6-8k HE salvoes with it. While without IFHE you are 100% reliant on the RNG that will decides if you manage to get some fire on your targets or not.

Tomber à 22secondes en Yamato ça m'a permis pas mal de trucs perso... Ouais même couvert de 32mm, surtout qu'en fin de vie si t'as été spam HE la saturation fait que les 32mm sont pas si handicapant. D'ailleurs Yamato a le même soucis d'avoir des sections énormes à 32.

Books ? Give me some references then. Though I doubt you could do any better than the books referenced in navweaps. However, in all my post in this topic I used real life events. Which is a bunch of facts. When Scharnhorst spotted the cruisers, he didn't expect that escort. Hence instead of engaging them he turned tail and used its superior speed. According to you, he was superior and "cruiser can't hold its own against battleship". You may be right if we're talking 1v1, but no cruiser was ever alone, and they were both more useful (more utility), cheaper, and still able to damage basically any threat. Hiei is another good example. It got showered in gunnery fire,was moderately damaged and desoriented. Then it was attacked by plane that definitely crippled her. -

I just quoted real life event... Also, I guess that Scharnhorst retreated from three british light cruiser when it spotted them because he had absolutely nothing to fear, right ? You really think battleships IRL could take 203mm, hell, even 152mm hits without fearing anything ? I mean, even a hit in the superstructure could have been crippling depending on where it would have landed. Cruiser and Destroyers were the workhorses of all navies... they all achieved much more than battleships ever did. -

Gotta love how you utterly ignored all my arguments. I play BBs too you know. I think it's my second most-played class right after cruisers. Doesn't change the fact that arguing they are underperforming compared to reality is completely ridiculous. All classes ingame are overperforming compared to reality. Btw, just so you know, Roma ingame currently have around 40% torpedo damage reduction. Meaning ingame a Type 93 with around 25k damage will get reduced to around 15k damage. Roma can heal part of it, stop the flooding immediately, and even tank two or three of them. In reality, Roma would have been outright sunk or at least critically crippled with a torpedo this powerful. The Pugliese Underwater system allowed up to 350kg (770lbs) of explosive. Type 93 had a warhead of 490kg (1080lbs). Even the Late Torpedo Mark VIII by the brits had a warhead of 365kg (810lbs). A hit would have utterly overwhelmed the defensive system and would have opened a huge, devastating hole underwater. (Not even talking about damage saturation which would further reduces the damage taken... while in reality the ship would have simply been split in two) Tell me more about how Battleships are too powerful for destroyers to sink, please. -

Seriously, HOW ? All battleships managed to do in WW2 was to be utterly useless and a waste of money and ressources. How can you say they are underperforming compared to reality ? - They don't suffer ROF loss under fire, nor after some time. - Superstructure hits don't disrupts the chain of command at all. - They can tank torpedoes such as F3 and Long Lance while a single hit would have gravely disabled any battleship, because not a single one had a bulge capable to withstand such a huge mass of explosive. Let alone several hits on the same side. - Fire and Flooding can be instantly repaired. - Their accuracy is incredible compared to reality. - Try to f***** hit a Destroyer showering you with small caliber HE while at the same time dodging torp you know are under way and may very well sink you or at least cripple you. We can do that in game. Battleships were anything but lethal. They were huge piece of junk and the whole WW2 proved it. Even if only talking about the IJN : Ise and Hyuuga were obsolete, Fuso and Yamashiro never achieved anything (Fusou sank because of a SINGLE TORP HIT. And right in the middle of the ship even), Yamato and Nagato were consigned to port until it was too late because of their propaganda value, Musashi got wrecked without achieving anything. Mutsu managed to explodes in port. Only the Kongou-class did something. And even then, the only achievement of Kirishima was to hit the USS South Dakota while it suffered an electrical failure and couldn't retaliate. Give me FACTS. Proves me BBs are underperforming compared to reality, instead of calling me "an idiot". Right now you just are throwing a tantrum because we are calling your favourite BBs useless. -
Zuikaku > Hornet. De toute façon Midway c'est la faute de Tone. =3 Sinon pour notre débutant, je te conseilles de foncer sur le Kongou. C'est un navire exceptionnel en t5, très formateur. Pour les CV, les tiers 4 et 5 n'ont aucun intérêt car ils ne peuvent pas effectuer d'attaque manuelle (touche Alt), en revanche ça devient plus intéressant à partir du tier 6 avec Ryujou qui est pas mal formateur. Mais les CV c'est compliqué. Et WG prépare un gros changement sur leur gameplay dans l'année également, parce que pour le moment c'est bof. L'AA est très puissante globalement, certains navires étant des no-fly-zone, et d'autres coûtant bien trop chers à attaquer..

But Ww2 completely proved there wasn't any point on building battleships and that CV, CA and DDs were much better investment... I still don't see how you can say BBs are nerfed when in the game they can tank several torpedoes that would sink them instantly IRL... -
Sinon, dans un jeu équilibré, les BB sont pas censé être capable de se balader sans rien risquer. Missouri est complètement absurde. Il ne craint ni les CV avec son AA pétée ni les DD avec le radar débilos. Au moins Musashi demandera de savoir se placer. Ceci dit, pour le moment je ne vois qu'un Izumo meilleur en tout... L'AA et les secondaires d'Izumo sont tout aussi nazes, mais en prime le Musashi aura les guns du Yamato en un poil moins précis (lolpen™ included), et les HP du Yamato...

Nah, they never even thought of adding Darlan in the first place. But the sh*tstorm over absolutely nothing that ensued because of a rumor was so strong they probably gave up thinking about any historical character anyway. -
Tu sais pas viser avec les croiseurs ou quoi. D: Même en Hinden et sa pénétration à deux balles je mets facilement du 15k sur les BB broadside, avec Henri c'est beaucoup plus facile. Un exemple, c'est une vieille vidéo de Yuro, mais à 3:23 il montre comment il perce un Fuso en AP à courte portée avec des 127. Bah en CA tier X c'est pareil mais à 17km ça marche aussi. C'est juste pas possible de dire que le Henri IV ne perce rien en AP. Ça voudrait dire que les AP de Zao et de Moskva sucks aussi vu qu'il est très proche du Moskva et bien meilleur que Zao. Les replays peuvent s'activer sur wows... Et sinon avec un calibre de croiseur on vise pas la citadelle des BBs au-delà de 4km. Clair que tu fera pas grand dégâts en visant comme ça. Vise à la limite du pont ou dans la proue/poupe. Tu verras.

They camouflaged the construction of the Yamato under the restriction of Naval Treaties by using the ressources supposedly reserved for four Destroyers. I forgot which class tho. Ayanami maybe. -
Euh... A 50% de tes Hp tu gagnes 12.5% de DPM au lieu de 10%. A 20% tu gagnes 20% de DPM contre 16%. Sur un BB à 30 secondes de reload, tu es à 26.25s de reload contre 27 avec un AR standard. A 20% tu es à 24 secondes contre 25.2. A 5% HP tu es à 22.8 secondes, et tu dépasses déjà le Yamato avec AR+module reload. Rajoute le module par dessus (-12%) est tu es à 20 secondes de reload. Et c'est encore pire avec le France qui est déjà buffé en DPM.
