Hello, I have some Skill tree proposals and I can't choose which one I'll go for ^^ Note: I will very probably run it wih premium consumable (except for the plane) to make the Grand Old Lady as powerful as possible. I used the same equipment setup as in the review, except for the second slot Any tips/help, please? ;)

Ooops ^^ I edited it, so. Sorry ;) But thanks for the proposal. I have the feeling WG tries to implement a kind of Pz38H in WoWS. A powerful statpadding machine (but not as much OP otherwise players will be angry), unavalable except if you buy the Bismarck Italeri model or pay for an expensive bundle.. (St Louis is ridiculously OP... It even has 106 armor plates on its sides... :/ )

Thanks for the offer, it's kind from you. But in my first post, I specified I already have if (or does my English sux? ^^) Yeah, it has a very high shell arc. But its is also due to the fact it outguns everything it encounters (even the Aurora, by 200m) Which is a certain advantage, especially if you platoon if you have an allie which spots for you (Doesn't it feel a bit too good for a Tier 2 premium?)

I checked and it seems you're right. Different topics said different things.. :/ Hmmmmm.. I looks much more interresting now. ;)

Nice to prevent me about Tier 5, I'll think twice before buying it and see if the buff range skill might help. I mostly want it because it looks cool and is famous. Thanks Diana is only a downtiered Aurora with less guns. 5 per broadside, 6 secondaries per side, same HP, 0.2 km less concealment, 0.6km more range. At Tier 2, so it meets Tier 3 max. I heard Demolition Expert (fire skill) and Fire Prevention were an waste of points... :/ (Because it adds 3% of 12% base fire chance. So th total fire chances with the skill are of.... 12.36%. For a Tier 4 skill, it sounds expensive for a tiny result) Anyway, the Preventive Maintenance seems legit, as the engine, streering gears and torp tubes get frequently damaged. Good idea. EDIT: I was wrong. Demolition expert seems useful, only FP is crap. Damn contradictory topics. :/

I just read on Armored Patrol blog that the Warspite is the ONLY BB in the game to be able to heal its citadel hits... o.o https://thearmoredpatrol.wordpress.com/2015/08/21/wows-qa-21st-august-2015/

I'd like to see a Conquest Mode where 2 teams deploy landing ships from their own war ships and fight for the control of islands. And players should choose wisely between killing other ships and bombing locations tto help their troops... (And balancing forces so BB's troops are more numerous and have tanks, while DD's ones, outnumbered, are better camouflaged, more efficients on hilly terrains, for ambushing with bazookas and have more radios to send infos to the fleet,...) Capped structures on islands could somewhat help the team (coastal guns, aerodrome, repair docks, AA installations, radar,...) But no chance it could come.. (and I doubt everybody would like it)

Full list of 0.4.1 ship changes from PTS (including undocumented changes)
Sams_Baneblade replied to CloakingDonkey's topic in General Discussion
Does the Ark Beta will be affected by the same turret traverse nerf as on the Wyoming? If not, it's a good thing. -
Mikasa is currently the only Tier 2 battleship (so the lowest Tier BB) and it was only available once in a bundle in the prem shop. It does not figure in the tech tree, just like the Warspite.

Nice! But where did you get that information? Would you have a link, please? (Not that I don't trust you, but I'm looking for good dev news of WoWS)

I don't think it's a mistake or that it's because the Omaha is too weak. WG is just doing the same as with OP premium tanks.. Releases the Murmansk Murmansk OP (but they know it) Removes it after a moment because OP (but wait enough players get it to build its legend) Sell it again in a 50 Euros bundle at special occasions. Job done. ;) The Warspite was retired for the same reasons. Maybe not OP (I don't really know, feel free to correct me), but awesome and it had a great success. Now removed, will appear again in moneygrab bundles. But before being removed, players strangely could buy it during a few days after the OBT wipe. ;) => random ppl see warspite in battle and want to spend cash on it. Stronk marketing techniques.

I corrently have 43% WR and 5% draw on 60 battles. And I'm not even a retarded noob.. -_- What a shame. Thanks teams.

Annnnnd sheeeeet. I really want it. But: 1) I'm a student with limited money amount. 2) I already bought pre-order doublons and I don't need more. (Thx WG for milking us, even if we already paid a lot. But that's nothing unusual) 3) Absolutely no interrest in prem days as I won't play that much this week. Now I'm lost... help

Does it also meets Tier 3 or only Tier 2? Pref MM would be nice and would help..

Does the Albany has a limited MM or not?

New ships in WoWs: Diana, Marblehead, Tachibana and Mikasa
Sams_Baneblade replied to Haatra's topic in General Discussion
But will it have a preferencial MM for its Tier or for it's class? Here is the question. :/ I mean, current Tier 2 (cruisers and DD) have only a +1MM and it becomes +2, then +3 when you climb the Tiers. If it has a pref MM for its Tier, it will indeed meet Tier 2 max. But Battleship class ALL have (premiums excepted) a +3MM. So if it has a pref MM for its Class, it could meet Tier 3 or even Tier 4 max and it would still be called "preferential MM". Also, even if it has only 4 main guns and in its gameplay will very probably looks like a "alla or nothing" ship, the said guns are still 305mm. Add a huge HP pool and loads of secondary dakka and it coul still fight Tier3, even if it would be less powerful. We just need to see the max Tier written from the and of a dev. :/ -
New ships in WoWs: Diana, Marblehead, Tachibana and Mikasa
Sams_Baneblade replied to Haatra's topic in General Discussion
With the additionnal range given by the skill and of the plane, you can shoot at insane range with the Murmansk. You can go up to 20-21km. 0_0 I don't really understand the new concept of "premiums, sometimes copy clones, but better than the original".. :/ -

New ships in WoWs: Diana, Marblehead, Tachibana and Mikasa
Sams_Baneblade replied to Haatra's topic in General Discussion
Hello, The Diana Cruiser will be available in the first Italeri-WoWS box (Bismarck model). (Tier 2, 17 knots, 8X 152mm guns as main armament and.... twenty-four 76mm secondary guns! Il looks sexy and might be really fun if you get at very close range..) I hope it won't be exclusive to Italeri Boxes and will be available in the shop/not too expensive bundles.. PS: if anyone get it, I am curious about its in-game stats -
Nice topic. It would be nice if we could see some IA-controlled corvettes/frigates/auxiliary vessels escorting our ships... How to unlock: reach a high level in your Profile or get it for your performances (the way Master Class or Marks of Excellence work in WoT, so not everybody in a game has one and no spam.) In-game behaviour: they just follw you ship. You can order them to move somewhere in a small area near you, but they won't go far. (so they don't stay in the middle of the sea, signaling you are behind the island) Armament: You can choose between different ship models depending on the Tier and their equipment. Some ships will add a few shots to your volleys (aka more secondary guns), others add AA, small torps (with low range, damages and reload for balance purpose) or a mix between these options. This could somewhat strenghten the pros of your ships (gun-ship for your St Louis) or mitigeate its flaws (AA auxiliary ship escorting a St Louis). Role on the battlefield: The could be used for their lowish additionnal firepower, to be used as baits/diversions for the ennemy, spot torpedoes sooner or simply to check if none is waiting you behind an island. Getting one would also prove you are a skilled Captain. ;) When the mothership is destroyed (options) a) just turns around until the game is over b) attacks the closest ennemy until it gets sunk c) can be controlled by the player if he wants so, to distract the ennemy with some dakka/reset the cap/gain some additionnal xp/for the lolz. d) joins and escort the closest ally ship (if a player with option c don't want to continue fighting, this one could apply instead) Anyone likes this idea?

Warspite! Is it worth buying before its too late ?
Sams_Baneblade replied to DD8907's topic in Battleships
One of its strongest points is its ability to react quickly and make very short turns. You can dodge long-range shots and torps. With some equipment/skills, trolling DD/cruisers/bombers must be funny. I received 16 torps from a small group of 3 Omaha (bots*) at short range. Only 2 hit me (because I was distracted) and I my secondary guns did the job. I don't think al lot of BB can do this. *Right now I only farm bots with the Warspite. (I don't want to do like most WoT players and rush Tiers with very few experience) Just one question: Citadel seems to be well protected and had to hit. Is it? -
It's a troll post, man.. ;)(at least, I hope....)

Hello guys, I am starting a new topic to know which characteristics you improved on your [edited] closed beta reward ship and to share it with the WoWS community. So it could help players who want to equip it to make the best choices. (me included, I can't choose for the third slot and need help ;) ) (I'll add a poll later and maybe ask about commander's perks... stay tuned!) So, here are all the available equipments: What do you think is the best to equip an Arkansas and why? Thanks for your reading/participation.
