P.S. game is based around "what majority" can or can not do......simple as that.....if skill does not change what majority can or can not do = it is not gamebraking

    i always forget that here could be teenagers and such, so to simple thing for ones who ca not comprehend different lets say WG created race with 100 cars. you have 85 old diesel cars with 50 HP and you have 15 new turbo gaselin 300 HP offc that 15 wins every time becasue they are better cars ad now WG introduce new turbocharger ONLY for gaselin cars....can that brake game?....NO it can not becasue for 85 cars nothing happened, their race did not change, thy still lose to those 15 cars, but for rest 85 it is fair game. Nothing changed to majority of cars and to race itself. lets think of alternative scenario when THING COULD ACTUALLY BROKE - lets say WG introduce new type of diezel that gives + 300 HP to diesel cars and increase theirs perforance......and it is whole new race where EVERYTHING CHANGES and race before end after this "skill" it is not the same. and that is our situation with this skill....it can not brake game, game results, or balance between classes.....uniqums will as always win over bad/regular, nothing changed there.....bad/average can not use that skill to significaly improve their performance and again nothing changed here. it is just not game changing skill we had some real gamechangers - radar (influence all bad/average/uniqums) - loss of slealth fire (again influance all) - removal of manual on lower tiers for CV (again influance all, and bring good/great to line with bad/average) - and this is prototype of gamechanger

    Sorry mate but in logic you are just not uniqum. I just can not help you here. Somwthing to brake game needs to be in massive use and not by smallest subgroup. Basics mate basics. P.s. calculator is not forbiden because of top students but because of "bad" ones. And i never ever talked about concept of the skill but of a impacte on gameplay.

    Agreed again...it sounds like very useful skill in some cases and to competitiv play and players....like most of t4 skills.....but is it totaly OP...that was my primar goal.....i am sure you an remember when it was introduced how first 2 pages of forum all were filed with topics - dds are dead, this is single most op skill in game...so on so on.......and i still can argue it is not gamebraker, it is nnot most OP skill in game.....for me there are at least 2 skills that are OP broken AFT + manul AAA.....ffs with 2 skills you basicly become ultmate destroyer of CV and safe from whole class by basicly passive skills.....and if it is put on cruiser with basiclyy strong aaa + defensive AAA......totaly broken I WIN mehanic agains whole class......but not to wonder of from main topic. RDF can be good, minority of players (most good ones) use it with efficinecy, and definitly it is not I WINN buton/skill agains whole class - dds

    And here is true story how RDF can kill you in randoms - happened today 2-3 hours ago....i was in Belfast.....usual cho cho train was on other side and i saw full open flank and went that side......on other side Clevland had RDF....i was spoted by it...i saw whim long time ago and i tried to draw him farest from others.....he was thinking he is catching dd but he eat 2 full slavoes of ap in side and died in 10 seconds because of OP stealh and AP of belfast........true story.....RDF killedthat guy.....if he was thinking he would remember our 2 dds were spoted on other side....but he did not think..he saw RDF signal and naturlly he thought it is DD.....and died of that skill (or better say not using minimap and brain). i am agains that skill....not because it gives huge advantage, but because it "trains" peoples not to use brain, not to use minimap.....ant thats why it is bad skill.

    Yes. Deadly against flanking. No argue there. Still what you use more Aaa defensive or RL information? Would atf see more of use in most games than RL....and does RL gives you that advantage that you rolfstomp other team because of it. Because if we remember posts of doom that was expected scenario from this skill

    And on competitive play there is allways cv. On t 8 ijn. 3-1-2 ussualy. Bombs are droped in see. And you have 5 FIVE squads for spot and main job is to spot whole team - dds especially and torpedos incoming. So why RDF here? You have cv to spot dd and his torps?

    To expencive to hunt last solo dd. T4 skill must not be situational. Iz is too expencive for situational play. Also from ranked Belfast with below 9 km stealth + radar is OP thing which killed much more dds than RDF

    Don't cv do the RDF job in competitive? I mean cv has only one job. Spot spot spot. And it does iz better than rdf because je spots torps and ships

    so 4th skill just to detirmine if somebody exit smoke or not?...also that one still could exit and be closest and you will have no idea if he is in or going out but is in same direction......nah too situational for 4th..there are much more important skils for dd like stealth, last steand, adrenalin rush, stealth, vigilance, aft for USA and ones with AAA, DE,.....ok i haven no problem using it...but it seams it is one of rarer skill becasue i got RDF-ed not very often.... and finally when last time you saw post on forum - NERF RDF??....yeah...not soon.....it tells everything

    Yes...it really is not seen often....i would say you see it as CV per games.....it seams peoples did not massively spec that way.....it is long enough out that peoples can have captains with 2 t4 skills....

    Yeh...Tora Tora Tora....i saw themcouple of time .....maybe i am wrong about uniqums.....maybee their skill gives them advantage of this skill......to average player it dont....maybe we can not use that extra information that uniqum can.....i was on receiving side of RL many time (icon poping) and it never ever get me killed by it, or i ate torpedoes in smoke because of it....maybe if you are not warned they "see" you it could be good for sneaky attack, but you got BIG FLASHING SIGHT and i really dont now who can die and get surprized or torped in smoke ......as i said.....flanking against it is impossible,,,,,but in competitive with CV spoting....you basicly knows where is eneie team whole time......and again if wee all remember crying was that big like dd gameplay will dissapire.....but god o god....we still have "limmit dds per side" topics .....somehow this did not kill DDs, number of DDs or DDs performance

    yeh...this is same point as - Atlanta is OP - and i can post many many maaany films with players dooing 200k dmg in Atlanta....is this ship OP.....hell no and we know it .......good/great player can make totaly broken ship/skill to his advantage and it is not ships/skills "fault" but it is player...to average skill player which is 75 - 80% this skill telss something they allready know

    hmmm better players have eaven more "oversithe" of battlefield and they definitly dont need it.....this skill basicly (for 4 points) tells you where is neerest "clocked" ship....and great players knows that without it.....hititing torpedo by aiming wuth RL is basicly good luck and releasing them to right point - general direction (again alot of luck and not consistent)......it only "upsets" flankers.....but i did not see much uniqum plaers in dd that abandon teamplay (smoking caping) and go solo yolo on side to flank. also if we can talk from point of average players...Gauss tells us there are 50% average, 25 below average and 25 above...so if skill is only for those 25%.....it is not gamebraker.....and i am only referring to that...this skill is not gamebraker for DDs.....and crying about it was totally outofheands nd not needed

    on higher tiers with radars, planes...ussualy knive fight betwean 2 dds is 1/10 games.....much more dds die to radar than to RL ot CV if in game.
