Non potato friendly ship means it is ship with many disadvantages that need to be substitute by player skill, while on other hand you basically dont need much skill to do decent in lets say belfast....so basicly you did prove my original point....player is more important than ship.....Atlanta is one of worst t7 premiums with most disadvantages. and if we take 1 vs 1 same skilled uniqums who will be perform better, one in Atlanta or ones in Saipan, Belfast, Flint, Scharhorst..... i did not dismiss it, i just stated it is one of worst ship in t7. Algeri, Myoko, Schores, NO are all ships with less flaws and more strengths than Atlanta and most peoples perform better in them then in Atlanta

exactly....uniqum player will make work any ship and will have epic result..it will just farm idiots (and game is full of them)....on other hand half brain dead monkey in flint or Belfast will perform better than in other ships. as is exactly shown here....same player base in Atlanta performs epicly bad but in Flint or Belfast they perform much better :)

it is player not ship....as i stated before...in this game, thank god, it is till captain wins over ship. Atlanta is THE WORST cruiser by DMG done and second worst in WR department (not counting ARP ships) and it is not bad luck.

Z (premium one) has over 20 k....7k more for cruiser with big citadel is just bad. p.s. to be precise 22.400 max

i just dont get how something with paper armor and health of DD can be close support (it can support only if in protection, any map without iceland in 10 km from cap is no go for atlanta)..it can hamp idiots over Iceland and die in open from anybody with a brain and WASD hack in direct fight. sadly her real power - AAA is useful every 10th game... p.s. Indy is also one of worst t7 premiums but at least it has broader use than Atlanta that needs cover and idiots in 10 km range to do aynthing, and is practicaly ussles in midrange fights and gamemodes without cap and cv

agree that 30 is too small sample to give final conclusion...also OP had epic first dosen games and on 100 he flipped far below 50% WR :) but in general WR is most solid indicator of performance in the end. DMG and PR can be farmed if you pick ships with very low "expected values" Expected values of Atlanta first column - dmg second one - kills third - WR and when you put it in formula you see how PR goes thrue roof Step 1 - ratios: rDmg = actualDmg/expectedDmg rWins = actualWins/expectedWins rFrags = actualFrags/expectedFrags Step 2 - normalization: nDmg = max(0, (rDmg - 0.4) / (1 - 0.4)) nFrags = max(0, (rFrags - 0.1) / (1 - 0.1)) nWins = max(0, (rWins - 0.7) / (1 - 0.7)) Step 3 - PR value: PR = 700*nDMG + 300*nFrags + 150*nWins now you see why PR can go up with very low scores where DMG is most important and expected dmg is 27 k

yes WR in only "hard" stats.....PR in case of Atlanta is just bad indicator because of very low "expected" values for that ship. For instance, indianapolis is also epic ship for PR farming

any ship (that is not dd) that can not stand in open (and does not have smoke) and can not hit moving target over 10 km is not carry potential ship, no matter how yours stats are good in it. Super player with t 4 ship can carry t8 game but it is not the ship but player.

Indi after buffs is solid ship with hard hitting AP, good stealth, solid armor and HP pool....and radar (and def aaa)....it is not epic ship but has more practical use than Atlanta which is confined to radar duty or lobing things over iceland on 10 km..... and PR is absolutely no indicator of performance (contribution to win) in game, just performance compared to expected performance. and Atlanta is ship in which good player can stat pad its PR because expected performance is very low (bad ship). Average dmg is on same page. WR is the indicator. Yes teams, yes luck....but over 100 games if ships have higher/lower WR than players WR, and in your case it is over 5% lower it shows that problem is in ship. and Atlanta is not a ship to carry team to win, it is oportunistic fighter than can not fight under his own rules but must try to abuse surrounding eaven if the battle (key battle) is on other side). They should give it smoke, remove torps....and still it would be worst than Belfast.....but they made morepremium version of Atlanta (Flint) and totaly killed this ship which now is one if not THE worst premium ship in game (not counting Endem and souch)

they are very very strong ships. read tips how to play them and enjoy becasue from t6 they only get stronger every tier up
