On a serious note, the point still stands, they are able to drop the torps far to close for you to do anything about.

either way, its to damn close to do anything about, so how can anybody say they are balanced when the best you can do is not thrtow your monitor out of the window. and even if its 12, it only needs 4 or 5 to hit.

any news on what can and cant be modded? Are UI changes OK? Skins and textures?

CV's do need something done about them, i mean what are you supposed to do when you have 10 - 15 torps dropped about 200 meters from you, and dive bombers on top of that? no matter what ship your in, you are goig down. so yes, something needs to be done about it, i dont know what, maybe increase the arming time/distance of torps or something.

the real question is, would you put it past WG to be that money grubbing and greedy? past experience and the price of premiums say that they are, after all, why let someone do something for free when you can charge for it?

or lack there of? i'm running dual cards at the moment, and i have to have them seperated because it causes all sorts of weird grapgical stuff to happen when i enable SLI. I play so much of WoWs that there is not point switching it on and off every time i boot up the game, as i'd spend a lot of time restarting. Does anyone know if Nvidia or WG are going to address this issue soon?

no its not, but whatever, i'm going to go play some matches, you know, the game? that thing that you know SOOOO much about with less than 100 battles, keep on telling people that you know all about the game

afaik, it doesn't even support SLI, so 4k is a ways off, i think.

oh, and i played over NINE THOUSAND battles in every nation, including the ones that aren't even in the game yet when it was the CBT, prove me wrong, you cant get the stats for the CBT test, can you? and if you haven't noticed, this isn't CBT, its OBT, and it is MASSIVELY different, although i wouldn't be surprised, with a whopping 97 battles fought, and over 1900 forum posts, you are clearly a forum warrior, and need to go away.

Only destroyers close to those kinds of ranges, and it is nae on impossible to hit destroyer citedels with any reliability. I'm sure, that you will regail us with your war stories of citadeling evey destroyer on grid, 30 seconds into the start of the match. maybe because you are a troll yourselve, from what i have read of your posts, so either, serious answers or go away. now, enough for him, can someone provide a serious answer to this?

not where my main batteries were of any use, they dont turn that fast to track them in time. Secondary batteries are for that kind of thing.

I would love for this to be in the game, only problem i see is that (to my knowledge) only the japs had plab/build hybrids. so would be one sided, although if they took up a carrier slot in the MM it wouldn't be so bad.

At the end of the day, as with so many devs out there, WG have fallen under their own hubris. You can tell this by the official responses in this thread, the language they use has all but cemented it for me that they are going to stop all mods (as much as they can), that is just my opinion though. People that want to cheat, will always find a way to cheat, this knee-jerk measureof spitting the dummy out and, for all intents and purposes, banning all mods, will just punish people that want to make menu UI, skins or whatever mods or use them. There is no need for this, other games have successfully let modders do their thing, and when a cheat crops its head up, they cut it off at its knees, i don't see why WG cant do the same, other than hubris and thinking that whatever they do is the right thing. Look at EvE Online's devs, CCP, to show you how completely damaging hubris can be when you control a game.

So, i'm not going to complain about HE being OP or anything like that (enough of those threads already). What I want to know is, what the hell i can do about it? Here's what just happened, I had just taken about 4 torps to my fuso, on less than 10k health, and a Cleveland and a Pensacola opened up on me with HE, between them both, i melted and sank before i could even reload my guns. I was turning to try and throw their aim off, but it didn't help any. So my question is, what the hell is a person to do to counter HE spam? is there anything that CAN be done, other than sit with a smil and watch your boat melt?

It's easy, get a third party anti-cheat/hack program. Hell, there are very few games that dont use third party program/tools (whatever you call things like BattleEye). if WG would rather just spit their dummy out and stop people from doing ANYTHING remotely like modding the game, it shows you the kind of company/devs that they are.

Good to know that her bell has been recovered, she'll not be forgotten. WarGaming should release a limited edition memorial hood that we can buy, with a % of the money raised to go to the museum that houses the bell.

Are we ever going to get weather effects? or rough seas? I'm almost positive i read somewhere that they were considering it, however i lost it and the FAQ doesn't say anything about it. I think the weather effects would add a great level of depth to the game, especially if it effects view ranges etc. Rough seas, i think, should be limited to high tier matchs as it would add an extra level to the end game for people that have 'mastered' the games.
