The whole karma is utter pointless anyway - idiots and ragers report you regardless. If you're not being reported by the enemy team for hacks/killing them/winning, then you're being reported by your own team for hacks, "kill stealing", jealousy, or not following their plan. Yesterday I got reported by my own team for winning for capping even though it was late in the match by a KILL ALL player -
To confirm - ramming causes flooding. Most of the time both ships just die, but if there is a particular size difference (dd vs bb) or someone has the ramming flag (take less damage, do more damage), then one might survive. In which case the flooding actually does something rather than being a shiny ribbon

I had a game yesterday at tier 6 where the enemy had 6 destroyers. In domination. Was dead funny though since they grouped together and I managed to spot 4 at once with a single unit of fighters. Watching them scatter like cockroaches with the lights on was well worth it, especially since we won.

Honestly can't remember the 3 seconds, but I never really considered it before - I regularly take shots at destroyers that have just disappeared by shooting at where they would be if they remained on the same course. Because of shell flight times etc I expect to still be receiving shots up to 10 secs after I disappear. More if its a hopeful atlanta. What I had found was in 0.5.5 was if I was shooting my guns and stopped in smoke I got a lot more accurate return fire. Now this may be from people aiming at where the tracers are coming from, and my division mate claims he can "see the puffs of smoke as they come out of the ship". I can't see them, but this may be due to zoom level or graphic settings. I did try recreating the other day - a clemson that was shooting popped smoke and sat still shooting. I flew planes over his position, but couldn't get him spotted until the smoke went -
Was bugged, now fixed. It's also now with any ship, so not just cruisers, and it includes the +50% from premium account. They retroactively added it, so you should now have it

Although it probably won't happen again, "P" turns on/off your secondaries and AA. I've had to do it before when a death wish Cleveland decided to drive between my nagato and an enemy BB when we were 5km apart

Alternatively: Remove (or drastically lower) repair cost so it doesn't matter if you sink or not. Increase shell cost a lot. Increase income from damage done. This way if you get stuck in and do some damage you make money (removing the problem of "high tier economy sucks"). If you float about at the back firing and hitting nothing you lose money. (Which might discourage it) -

Actually there's a difference between "BB players are all idiots" and "BB attract all the idiot players" I play battleships a lot, and generally have a reasonable idea what I'm doing, but it's usually other BB that are the most derpy. There seems to be a large number of players who are drawn to battleships because they think that because it's the biggest they'll auto win, without ever considering that having the worst rudder/speed means you need to pre-empt rather than react. It's like FPS games - not all snipers are scrubs, but the sniper class (perceived as "safe") attracts them in droves. -

The kamikaze R missions you could get more pearls than needed for the top reward without completing all the missions. If this is the same then I expect some of the weekly missions to be worth more than 20 diamonds -

I was expecting campeltown as the mystery prize. It's unreleased, and reputedly not very good (so then people can say "hey it was free!" Rather than "wtf I paid money for this"). Personally I rather like the low tier perms that I haven't been able to get before. Would have been nice to have some higher tier stuff as well. The "prizes" though aren't really the point of playing for me, for me its; Play anyway and get free gold, camo, credits, flags, signals. Because other people are playing also get bonus xp/captain xp Top it off with a random low tier premium that I wouldn't have got otherwise. I won't be putting in a huge effort, but I enjoy mixing it up. Yesterday took out a carrier to get 20 diamonds (as this would give me 100,000 creds) just for a change as they'd been sat in port not doing much. 9/10 carrier games won and I had a highly enjoyable evening. -
I notice you claim it's impossible to play anything that's not a destroyer. Try playing a destroyer, and you quickly find the only people you can easily torp appear to have switched off their brain. So watch how the people that avoid your torps manage it, and apply that to cruiser play. Cruisers can be killed by 2-3 torps. They can also be killed by 2-3 citadels from BB. Both are avoidable (although the battleship ones are more about mimimizing risk rather than totally avoiding)

I'll usually turn, or charge. If they've spaffed their guns then I'll turn (also if I'm far enough away and they're inaccurate then I'll risk it, same with if I'm a BB and have enough health to eat a citadel). If low health or too close then I'll charge. Sometimes it even pays off

Either hold down ALT or turn on "alternate battle interface" in settings. Gives you flight times, ship names etc -

To help you out HMS_Dauntless, what I'm aiming to achieve (since I don't play a huge amount each week); 3 of the weekly missions a week. This week I can do 10 battles in a cv (press battle 10 times), kill 10 things at tier 5, and win 10 battles. Assuming I don't go for true efficiency and use a tier 5 carrier (and thus possibly do all 3 in 10 battles), this is probably 25 - 30 battles as a worst case scenario (33% wr and 0.5 kills per battle at tier 5) I'll also aim for 10, 50 and 100 played from the permanent but that's it. If I get the 100 kills from one class then bonus, but I'm not aiming for it -

As said the event lasts for 5 weeks. There's a personal goal of 1000 diamonds which won't be available if you add up all the permanent missions, and have 5x 80 from the weekly (comes to a total of 840). On the main page it lists an extra weekly mission of 100,000xp (which doesn't show on the mission page) worth 20 diamonds. Even if that IS included it's still only 940. So there must be missions later that are worth more. Since the weekly missions are rather specific to classes/tier rather than the kamikaze ones which were generic, I'd guess the missions will change each week rather than just refresh. The 500 battles over the 35 days is just short of 15 battles a day. Now I personally won't be playing 500 battles in 5 weeks (the 100 is a closer bet for me) but some people probably will -

The weekly missions are pretty easy - play 10 battles as a carrier, kill 10 ships as a tier 5, win 10 battles. These are the ones you can do with 2-4 hours play in a week. The permanent ones take a bit of time but add up, they're more of a bonus over the weekly ones -

BTW OP just because they go pink doesn't mean you're allowed to shoot them. Shooting them when they're pink will merely make you pink too
