Yeah, just checked armoured warfare which lists itself as being about tanks, even when a large amount of the vehicles in it are wheeled -
Had a game yesterday where our tier X GK sailed along the J line, up the 1 line, and along the A line. In a 4 cap domination game. He spent the game plunking away at long range stuff, tanking exactly zero damage because the enemy ignored him. He then got to secure some nice easy damage/kills when some cruisers decided to sail at him. When the enemy got down to 2 ships left after feeding him, they just simply stopped firing and let the points from the caps win the game for them. He was so far away from anything that he couldn't decap or spot anything. The enemy won because their brawler BB forged a path through the middle, while ours border surfed. The late game feeding damage put him at #1 spot despite being a major cause of losing.

OP you may wish to play co-op - the bots tend to yolo and so do the players. This seems to be the type of gameplay you want. In random battles people dont tend to yolo over tier 4/5 as pushing into a cap that still has active radar cruisers is a bad idea. So is attempting to push into superior numbers, pushing a cap on your own, or pushing when you control the majority caps and have a terrain advantage

The other question not covered, is what were your CV's fighters doing at the time? And what had they been doing for the 1-2 mins beforehand? Because ignoring the fact that the Kidd would make that a very unattractive area to go to, if they were supporting the bulk of the team by spotting, or fending off enemy fighters so he could kill a DD, or dead, out of ammo, or simply at the other end of the map then he may not have been able to send them anyway. You state where YOU were, and you state he should have been supporting YOU, what you dont say is what the rest of the team were doing, who he was supporting, and why what you were doing was needed more than what they were doing.

Its basically only the tier 9/X cruisers that can take spotting planes, except USSR which can take them at tier 6, and RN CL which cant take them at all

Because one server will consist of people who want to derp, try hards that bring clubbing/padding divisions, and people who didnt know the option exists. Which is basically the same as random battles now. The other server will consist of good competitive people, and every bad player that thinks they're amazing and that their 42% WR is because they always get "bad teams". The sort that think it will be a win if the other 11 players also go mid on 2 brothers. This is also basically the same as randoms now anyway. So all your suggestion does is have nothing change with the games, but the queue time goes up since there are now 2 queues. Yesterday for example I had a 45% pink gearing. He sailed away from the caps, up the 1 line, and died to the first enemy he found. He then spent the rest of the game complaining in all chat that he always gets re***d teams In a seperate game I had a yolo hidden stats montana who charged straight into an enemy DD in the first 90 seconds and got torped. He then spent the rest of the game complaining that a cruiser who didnt spawn near him hadnt managed to somehow clear out the DD first. He also claimed that every cruiser is all his games is an idiot that doesnt know what they're doing. If you can work out a way of not having them (and every other player like them) in the "competitive" queue then go for it. If not then your suggestion brings no benefits IMO but has drawbacks (longer queue) -

I think its compounded by the fact that with other classes you have some redundancy (destroyer being an idiot? Doesn't matter you have 2 more destroyers), and to a large extent you can use another class to do the role anyway. If your DD's aren't capping, you can cap with a cruiser. If your cruisers aren't capping you can use a BB etc. They're not ideal to do this, but you can make it work. With CV however they have abilities that you can't do with another class. CV for example can spot all 4 caps at once. No other class can do this. This means a lot of the CV abilities are not replacable by another class. This is compounded by the fact that you usually dont have any redundancy - if you have a bad CV then bad luck, you dont have any other. (Yes mid tier you can have 2 but the normal with CV is 1 per side)

Space battles is an easy one for them - they have a map already. The skins are new, but are also are "winnable" via crates. Since people buy crates with real money to try to get these then its a source of revenue for them. The two "crazy" effects are clearly tests. One is a test of aircraft being damaged by weather, the other is a test of battleship survivability if they cant repair fires. Regarding the oddball stuff, one is a remake of bastion, and the other looks like a test for having controllable torp boats like the dunkirk event used, potentially a new class.

Only time I use widespread is on RN cruisers because I dont feel like a mesh from the singles and would rather just dump them into the water

Overall stats will be influenced by being in a division though. Put an AFK bot in a division with two unicums and the bot's WR will rocket up. You also find that your average damage/PR will go up as well because you get better support. Want to farm damage in your atlanta? Well now you can sit in a smoke screen and do it, no more needing to find an island. Risky decision of should you take your BB into a cap because your DD are all hiding? Not a problem if you brought 2 competent DD with you, now you can just farm damage instead. My solo WR and solo PR are 55% and 1670, while my two man stats are 62.5% and 1828. I dont play 3 man (6 games when obt started)

This should be fairly easy to test - get two players in a training room with the same tank, same modules and identical crew. Have one player with as high a WR as possible. Have the other with as low a WR as possible. Have them trade shots. If you are correct there should be a noticable difference in the damage results over 100+ shots. To eliminate aiming/bounces have them trade shots against side armour so that its only damage being compared

Although a ship has a certain amount of HP, it is actually split into 4 sections (bow, aft, structure, centre). Of those, the bow/aft/structure have limits of how much damage they can take. Any damage beyond this limit is ignored. Its therefore possible to have the first torp hit the bow and do 16k damage which fully satuarates it, and the other 4 torps also hit the bow and do nothing

One side gets radar, all the AA and smoke cruisers. The other side..... doesn't. As comedy as shimas vs gearings and des moines is, I doubt it would be particularly balanced

The part quoted is cherry picked, because it ignores the multiple OTHER methods of matchmaking that are described right before the quoted part. The arguement therefore that because its in the patent it must be being used is void, because the patent also contains MM being completely random (along with several other methods) Whenever you see the "OMG its rigged" threads they always quote out of context and convieniently ignore the previous parts of the patent. The part above that quote is; As indicated above, vehicles may be placed in a battle session having a particular battle level using a variety of techniques. In one aspect, a vehicle may be placed randomly into any battle level acceptable based on the battle level table 801. In another aspect, a vehicle may be placed sequentially in increasing battle levels based on table 801. For example, when a use acquires a new tier 4 light tank, the first time the user plays a game with that tier 4 light tank the matchmaking server might force the vehicle to be assigned to a battle session of battle level 4. When the player plays a second game session using the same tier 4 light tank, the matchmaking server might force the vehicle to be assigned to a battle session of battle level 5. The third game session, battle level 6, the fourth game session, battle level 7, and so forth until the seventh battle session where the vehicle is in battle level 10. After that, the matchmaking server might start over at battle level 4. Alternatively the sequence might proceed in decreasing battle level order, and/or might start in the middle of the applicable range of battle levels. -

Care to quote the part of the patent that states it puts better players on the other team if you've been winning too much? Because boringly I actually read it. Its pretty dull. Its also pretty nornal. Imagine my disapointment to not find secret scandalous stuff in there. It does cover some different possible ways of putting you in a match. Note that since its a patent to stop people stealing their ideas, it doesnt mean these are all being used. In fact several of them conflict. However luckily they're quite easy to test; 1). Completely random Yeah, WG patented putting you into a relevent battle at random. Not exactly the secret revelation we're hoping for here. 2). Ascending order. This is where your tier 7 ship gets in a tier 7 battle, then a tier 8, then a tier 9, then back to 7. Again, pretty easy to test: Do your games follow a distinct pattern? If no (mine don't) then this clearly doesnt apply 3). New vehicle bonus This is where a new vehicle gets put as top tier for a certain number of games before being put into random matches. As anyone whos had their first game in a completely stock tier 8 cruiser by being thrown into a tier X game can attest, this doesnt seem to be applicable either. 4). Many losses in a row This is the more exciting one - where if you lose a bunch of times it puts you as top tier for a bit. Essentially throws you a bone if your bismark keeps getting killed by shimas by letting you beat up clevelands for a bit. Given that methods 2 + 3 are provable to not be in effect, theres no guarantee ths is in effect either. Perhaps someone who consistantly manages large loss streaks can test this. Aaannnnnddddd....... Thats it. No secret "put all the baddies on my team". No secret "give the best players to the other team" either If someone can find it in there and quote it (I read it twice) then please do. However untill then I will just assume that anyone claiming the patent is filled with secret rigging just simply hasnt actually even read it. -

The team might not be great, but you are doing nothing here to help; The game is 6 1/2 minutes in. Since most games last about 12-15 minutes this puts it roughly halfway through. The entire enemy team have been spotted over at C except the CV who are likely to be somewhere over C as well. You however are over at A. A is already capped by your team, you have no capture/assist ribbon so it was captured by someone else on your team (probably the DD that is now at B). You have no hit ribbons. Which means for 6 and a half minutes you have sailed to a cap that didnt need capping, to defend it from an enemy that aren't there -
Got it because the wife has amazon prime anyway so she can order endless hordes of junk we dont need. The camo is pretty nice; +125% XP is pretty useful for grinding

Got 5* on the first go. Atlanta is an excellent choice if you can aim with it, and has AA that will shred the planes (100+). Only problem is its not very good at killing the GZ
