    He was enemy team. He was mad because in WoT (yeah I looked his stats up afterward) he ranked as unicum. He didn't like someone "daring" to shoot at him. It was honestly the most absurd chat I'd seen.

    Had it happen once. Had a guy rage so much (that I was shooting him) that he looked up my stats for world of tanks (yes a different game) mid game and started raging in chat that I was such a noob and should shoot someone else

    Never really understood the HE fuss. At long range the Cleveland mostly misses because I have a rudder too. At medium range he can hit me, but I can hit it. It can't repair, I can. I have a ton more health than it, can put out fires, and with 4 heals he's dead before I have needed to move onto the second heal. At close range it's simply dead.

    I love BB that sit at the back. Because I mostly play BB, and love going forward, so seeing an enemy border hugger makes my life easy - I can proceed to murder their team while they float around ineffectively. Main reason I took BB for ranked is because I didn't want to be dependent on someone else to provide heavy support. Works both ways though: you'd be amazed how much capping I need to do to secure victory because the teams DD fancies having a firefight with a Cleveland........

    With the addition of an extra heal on the premium consumable, it might be advantageous to take vigilance instead of superintendent. Presumably this means it's actually a buff to t8+ battleships, since they'll have -20% spotting from the patch, +20% from equipment, +20% from vigilance, and premium consumable to give the 4th heal that superintendent currently provides

    Personally I quite like it. But I'm partially deaf anyway and only play with one headphone on so it's not too loud for me. All for options to disable it for those that it affects badly though
  8. How many times do people re-buy ships? So far I've rebought 1 ship once (needed a tier 3 to play with a mate, so rebought tenryu). Considering rebuying Fuso for next seasons ranked, but that's about it. Do people regularly buy, sell and rebuy their ships?
  9. Can't sell modules? People complain WG are stealing from them since they can't sell old modules and are sat on a pile of credits they can't access Sells old modules? People complain WG are stealing from them because they might at some point want to rebuy a low tier ship. Best option IMO would be a depot (like wot) for those that like to horde all their old stuff "just in case", and a tick box when selling a ship marked "sell all modules too" for those that don't want the monthly chore of emptying the depot of all the cap they don't want

    Equally wonder what value it will start at. Since it can't go below zero, then if it starts at zero then someone who simply never receives anything (good or bad) will have the same rating as someone who gets 20 reports a game.

    This doesn't make any sense: The modules being sold are things like the stock hull. You can't demount them anyway, and even if you could they're no use to you (can't use stock nagato hull on amagi etc). The upgrades (like gun modification 2) AREN'T being changed. As it stands when you sell a ship you can either sell them or demountable them for gold. You didn't get to freely keep them before, and you won't afterwards

    Like I said, I like to brawl with the warspite, so being near islands isn't poor piloting or a mistake. The combination of hard hitting guns, effective secondaries and very good turn circle means you can ignore traditional BB values with her and take the fight close and personal. This makes her unique in that she's the only BB that can reliably clear DD/CL out of island chains. I'm aware this won't be the preferred aproach for BB captains that want to play it safe and stick to open water, but being able to use her like this is half her charm. Regarding timing hull turns between salvos, this is fine if you're against inexperienced BB captains that simply fire as soon as they are reloaded. Against more experienced captains who will either fire half their turrets to lure you into turning, or simply wait for an opportunity then it doesn't work. In this instant you either have to expose yourself (bad idea), or not fire since you need your hull to get the guns aligned. As you said 90% of BB will happily fire their guns at you when you're at your strongest, but I prefer to not be reliant on my opponent being a novice. The 7% extra accuracy isn't worth that IMO. But horses for courses, both our play styles seem to give roughly the same results so it's personal preference really

    Personally I play as a brawler. The accuracy is OK, but at short ranges it's not that important IMO. Most of the aiming is done by steering the hull anyway, but there are lots of times where you either can't, or where is would be very much a disadvantage. For those times the turret turn is needed. Usually for me it's if I'm trying to shoot one target, but turning the hull will expose my citadel to an enemy BB, or where turning the hull will cause me to crash into islands/torps. In those instances you have to rely on the turret turning instead, and the closer you are, the more they need to turn.

    Looking at OP it would appear to be that he plays quite a lot at the back. With BB the damage is reasonably low, and the hit rate is pretty low too. The survivability is very good, but since you survive more than you win it would appear there are quite a few games you've still been alive while your team loses by cap. Combine the high survival with the low damage/hit rate and it would appear you float about as far back as possible taking pop shots. The K/D ratio isn't bad, but you don't actually kill many things. It would appear the enemy can win simply by ignoring you. Make yourself a bit more of a threat and you'll probably find you win more

    stats got reset after CBT. You can see beta testers CBT stats though, do if you really want you can add them up and have the total. E.g. I'm currently on 58.62% WR. If you factor in the 803 games I had in CBT this becomes 57.11%

    Hopefully it'll work out that; -Stealth DD are attracted by better torps/easier to hit battleships. -Carriers are attracted by easier to hit BB and CV buffs. -The increased carriers mean there's more planes in the air, so the stealth DD get spotted more often. -With the stealth DD being more spotted, the gunboat DD come out to hunt them. -More destroyers, aircraft, and HE boosting flags make cruisers more popular -The extra heals means the BB don't suffer so much from HE, and the increased cruisers/gun destroyers keep away the worst of the planes/torp destroyers. Here's hoping at least

    Just swapped onto using this. Used to be a die hard fan of the secondaries module (loved those 7.2km), but was finding during ranked there were times when if my turrets just turned a bit faster I could get another shot in etc. Now using the turret turn module. I can live with lower reload (it's the same as US ships), and 6km secondaries still scare DD.

    Wouldn't use it myself anyway, the flags you get for free on a regular basis for remembering to shoot your guns, and for occasionally playing ranked keeps me in XP, but I approve of the idea for those that want a small one off boost. Totally agree with the being focused, likely that people will focus them anyway just because they can to spoil someone else's day.

    and what if the winning team each have 1 kill and are pretty equal, and each end with 900-950 xp, while the losing team all do nothing and end up with 100-150. Your system would demote someone who won with 900xp and promote someone who lost with 150xp

    I actually think it's a good idea - people have been complaining that premium time is wasted if you can't play regularly and that there should be a per game option. If you have time to play 16 games in a day then it's probably not for you. I have a 5 week old daughter to go with the nearly 2yr old, so there's no way I could fit 16 games in a day - I'm currently averaging 2 battles every 3 days. The colour however is hideous.

    It's not 1.5x for first play, it's 1.5x for first VICTORY. So if the first game is a defeat, you won't have that bonus. Additionally winning gives your xp a boost anyway Edit: at least in the last game you're playing in CO-OP, which gives nowhere near as much xp as normal Pvp

    Problems:

    - if your shots fall behind them due to lag, why not compensate by aiming slightly further ahead? - the crashing into islands is due to the auto avoidance - where you have 2 land masses (e.g. a corridor between 2 islands), the auto avoidance tried to steer you away from one and ends up making you crash into the other. This has been an issue since CBT, but luckily it's easily resolvable; you can turn it off in settings. -regarding team mates, most are not that useful, but the same applies to the enemy team. In the situation you described, having 7 team members chase down 1 DD isn't very useful, but you didn't behave very sensibly either. You state that after engaging you noticed they had all gone back to Base. You really should be checking the mini map ~ every 5 seconds, and thus be able to see that your team are turning around. If it comes as a suprise to you that your team mates are now somewhere else then you aren't being aware of your surroundings enough. If you play a BB you need to know what's going on about 2 mins in the future since you're slow at moving/turning Since all your team mates had left, why did you choose to engage multiple enemies on your own? If you had fallen back with your team you'd have 8 ships to attack the enemy with once they'd killed that destroyer, and could have continued firing while withdrawing, pulling the enemy into your teams guns. Instead you held them up for a bit, at the cost of nearly losing your ship. What your team did wasn't correct, but what you did wasn't correct either. It would be nice if all 8 of you could have broken through that flank, but if 7 of them have already left, why did you try breaking through on your own?

    Surely a better idea is instead of forcing people to play lower tiers to fund their high tiers, is to have enough stuff going on across the tiers that people will WANT to play tier 5 in addition to 10, rather than being forced to. Make high tiers break even/vaguely profitable. Have a bunch of events centred around tiers 4/5/6. High tiers will come play their low tiers for the event. Low tier people have lots of events
  25. Some people have a "If I don't like it then it shouldn't exist" attitude. Since its optional, the only real concerns I can see is that; -They could have used the time for something else, E. G. Instead of having anime pics/voices/skins they could have had historically accurate skins/captain pictures -It damages the reputation of the game. I personally have nothing against anime, but for some this is the equivalent of having an advertised "clown mode" where the ships are brightly coloured and the guns make fart noises
