No. The camo in that pic is a standard one you can get for silver. The permanent one was a horrible one not dissimilar to the Christmas so the screenshot doesn't tell you whether it is still there.

Last night lost a game where with 3 minutes to go we had a points win in the offing and 4 healthy battleships. I said in chat that all we needed to was stay alive and platoon 1 got itself killed. 2 BBs. The first to go was a forumite and from speccing him he didn't do too much wrong - the enemy made it hard for him to angle but he did what he could and they had to fairly slowly whittle away his health. His division mate however pushed too far forwards... starts getting hit by both BBs and a Nurnberg. He then decides to turn away with 30 seconds to go and in the process shows his broadside first to 1 BB and then to the second. I told him not to. The 10 second countdown pips were going when they killed him and won. Soul destroying when you warn them what is at stake and then they push forwards for some extra damage and throw it away. Then this morning had an epic game on North involving 2 last second de-caps from team mates and in the end we lost because our Ibuki went to the j line despite repeated calls for help. The enemy spawned further north than he sailed. It is ridiculous. He did manage to turn north after me and the other CA had died but then it was him V 3 so he died and we lost on points again. Some people have said here that they prefer close run losses to white-washes and whilst I generally agree there is little worse than a hard fought won that gets snatched away from you in the dying seconds

This fits squarely into the category of I don't care. It really isn't a big deal to me...

I think he means the ones we all get for 6 mil pearls total. In which case did you open the crate? Unfortunately I have no idea how many flags I did have or how many I have now so I can't tell you if they added correctly.

No. It means the ships needs to be spotted. You can fire at it and turn away your viewpoint away and it will add it on... but if the ship becomes unspotted it will not add it on.

Yea I only recently played through the Langley with its 1/1/0 and it was a beast. Now some extra DBs - thanks!

Someone will probably contradict me but I think I've always seen H-41 mooted as the likely t10 candidate in the occasional threads there has been on the subject.

I said this in another thread but chances are if you have a ship either side of you that your secondaries can hit there is a good chance you have made some terrible decisions leading up to those circumstances and you wouldn't be living for long even if they fired both sides! p.s. how many times in a 100 games do you feel it might be an issue?

Damn on the Nagato that 60% improvement looks beasty. The 15% looks, as expected, not so great.

I would argue that in a lot of cases if you are brawling like that then you have made some poor decisions. At the kinds of ranges secondaries work then ships that close are a real problem because half of them will be able to torp you and most of the rest will be BBs and you can't angle against 2 BBs either side of you.

About a week ago I had a game where with 1 min to go and the enemy was ahead on points but it was close - about 5-10. I had my Langley out and hit their Hosho to about 1k health. That was me done for the round as it would take that long for my planes to get back to my carrier let alone re-arm and get back to the enemy. I think it was a Phoenix that then hit the CV with 20 seconds left and left it on 4hp but it crashed into an island just blocking sight. The round ends and we lose. To 4hp. Another 10 seconds and the Phoenix would have regained a firing angle and we would have won. And we had clawed back to that situation from being miles behind using blood sweat and tears. The 2 or 3 of us left had earned that victory but it was not to be.

I would love to have the 60% for my Warspite but 15% is a bit of a kick in the teeth for 5 points. I will consider it for some of my high tier BBs but without really looking at what I lose by taking that it is hard to tell whether it would be worth it - I like having superintendent and high alert at lvl 3 for example.

As you say you can spec your DD for avoidance but you lose the XP bonus... but then the XP on the ship is wasted anyway for most people who don't convert it. In fact it is probably wasted for people who do convert XP-->freeXP because you generate unholy amounts of it. So what you really lose a bit of a boost to XP your commander gets and charged 12k silver/game. It would make sense to have both but it is not a huge loss if you choose to use the unavailable camo. p.s. I still see Atagos with avoidance camo on when their free camo does the same + XP boost... some people just don't pay attention.
