I have 4 lines that I am grinding up - Ranger, Farragut, Fubuki and Mogami and I usually play them in that order until I have my daily reward. After that it kind of depends... with 21 ships, if I am in a division I can match whatever tier is required generally but often it is my premiums as opposed to my grind ships as money is always needed! If I am on my own and fancy more games I will likely play my Yamato and Gremy because they are fun.

Me and BadGene were platooning (Yamato and Zao respectively) and we ran into 44smok on the enemy team in his Zao. I didn't notice him until he was nearly dead and was unable to be the one to kill him due to an island (but I was trying!). I was a bit busy so never got chance to say hi. The rest of his team was hopeless and it was a pretty straight forwards win for us.

My 2 tier 7 CVs have the highest ave damage of any of my tier 7 ships...

Ave XP is affected by what tiers you are playing. And isn't it potentially polluted by things like premium?

I expect most people playing WoWs have played WoT and you are making stuff up about there as well. Stop with your 'everyone' comments. Stop with the conspiracy theories. If it is how things work then it should be demonstrable so show it to us. You are so dismissive of any alternative views and yet although you think your views are obviously correct you cannot show us why. Blaming rigging on you losing 8 in a row just means that you get to shrug it off rather than looking at what you might have done differently. RNG means that if you make any 2 identical shots then you can get different results - there is no need to change your chances of getting a citadel per round as that is what the RNG achieves with every shot you fire.

Whilst pleasantries are nice, sometimes you don't have time to doing much more than 1 word comments and if people don't think it is polite enough then so be it. If someone makes the effort to be rude then I will ignore them, but if someone is just a little... laconic because there attention needs to be elsewhere then I will maybe help them... providing their request isn't ridiculous.

Strategic capping can be nice for upgrading stock DDs. I capped 5 flags on North in my Fubuki (the only person on my team to cap anything) with A being capped for almost entire game and my XP was immense. Think I had 3-6 shell hits and was easy top of my team. ...oh and we were down on ships massively - we wouldn't have won without the flags and their team not contesting them.

Hmmm. Interesting squad setup. I expect I'll get it as I am currently at the Ranger.

I've only just bought mine. 7 games in and with last night's 3x I unlocked the 203s so I'm yet to play mine with them on. The 155s are a bit of a pain with the atrocious traverse, but I played relatively conservatively with them. After the AFT changes running with the 203s was always my game plan. It does seem quite a slow ship though...

As someone looking to tackle a new cruiser line would you recommend going for the German or Russian cruiser lines both in terms of fun to grind and tier X ability?

It might be the logic many use but it is crap logic. If they go strike you don't need loads of fighters. If they go balanced then your balanced means 8 fighters vs 6. If they go AS then they are stupid and you use your smaller fighter squads to tie theirs up whilst you get your balanced strike load through and onto target. Your fighters die but who really cares if your strike planes are tearing up the enemy whilst their crappy DB force is making next to no difference to anything.

Love my Gremy. I think it probably is too powerful to put on sale again. Or I hope it is. I like having something fairly rare

They both perform well enough. You certainly shouldn't be concerned about the opponents getting tougher because +2 spread is +2 spread regardless.

I have joined the 80% of people who think the ideas are terrible. It offends me that 3 people chose 'most were good'.

Understandable I guess but if you use it to try and co-ordinate fire on good players then I would be in the same boat - my stats are not amazing but I am way above average and usually more of a threat than most team mates. Personally, I use the XVM info to mainly dictate my choices not to organise team tactics. At most I have said to my team 'be careful, their Cleveland is very good', but I would usually warn my team about forumites being a potential threat as well even without XVM.
