I started mine at 7:30 and it took less than 2 hours and that was updating as opposed to a fresh install. The fact is they are giving 3 day's premium for something that won't take 3 days to do. Get a grip.

I only read the first 2 questions and ran into problems. The most dangerous opponent class wise is dependent on the class of ship I am in. And that isn't to mention that the threat of a particular class varies massively depending on who is captaining the ship.

I deleted a whole lot of crap out of my "World of Warships\Updates" folder after it was all finished.

Personally, I expect that they forgot that was in the video and never intended for us to have it. Hopefully they will scramble and get it sorted... starting tomorrow or Sunday (I'm busy tonight and tomorrow :p)

Haha, well you popped up as spotted on my team and I thought 'oh I know that name' and so I said hi and you died as soon as I said it. Still, I had to run and ate a full Zao AP salvo into my belly that wrecked my remaining 50% health and in the end your team won.

Mine has just finished. 2 hours in total but at some point on my commute it did require the click so it might have finished in 1hr 30-40 had I been keeping a closer eye on proceedings. Just logged in and I'm already excited by the 4 possible rows of carousel (currently with 22 ships 3 rows is enough) and the primary option like in WoT... although I somehow made 8 ships primary:p

Yea, I think fresh install might have been the best option. Mine is still installing at home but I'm keeping an eye on it from work so I can shut my PC down in a bit once it is finished and it is ready for when I get home

You've got to weight all these things up though - Last AAA I got was Fallout 4 which although brilliant has already been consigned to the history books so to speak and I played it for far fewer hours than I have spent on this game.

More than I expected to. I kept my premiums in WoT to a fairly small number but have somehow failed to do that in this game. Gremyayaschy Atago Warspite Tirpitz Saipan And I will be getting the Campbeltown just because. Out of all of those I only kind of regret buying the Atago. I know it is OP for its tier... but I am not OP in cruisers generally so it could be described as a bit of a mistake and I'd usually rather be in my Tirp. Warspite... I like her but she doesn't get played enough - when I need credits the Tirp/Gremy are my go to ships because they are both not only good, but good fun! Saipan... haven't played it much yet as I needed to finish SoS and it didn't help with main battery hits but I will rectify that. So although I have spent too much, I don't think think I have wasted most of it if that makes sense?

I know what you mean, but they do of course post their best moments. And, I also wonder whether the current meta doesn't help the Yamato. Depending on the map I sometimes find it hard to make myself useful because the game stays too spread out (Atlantic for example). I do go into forumites quite a bit but my only full tier 10 div has been with the 2 people you mention and otherwise I have had 2 or 3 games with Gene running his Kagero a while back. It just seems like most people want 7-8 divs most of the time.

It depresses me that you are not happy with your Yamato stats as our stats are quite similar. Well, our ave damage is almost identical but your WR and hit % are much higher and my ave kills is higher than yours. I have been playing mine quite extensively this week to finish the SoS missions and I have grown more comfortable in her but it is still hard work trying to be as aggressive as possible whilst not ding. It is a ship that can be a great support to the team but at the same time it needs supporting too. Even when you ask for support and people say they will you often find out that they come until an enemy gets spotted and then bug out - she might be a good tank but vs 4-5 ships on her own and she goes down pretty quick:s I had a game this morning in mine where I had 2 divisioned shimakazes harassed me for the entire game and I had no support. 4 torp walls from each shima and I only ate 1 torp and they had lost half health each due to getting spotted by me and eating secondary fire. Another issue is the lack of tier 10 divisioning - or even 10/8 to help with the finances. I don't want to spend all of my time in tier X but it would be nice to play there occasionally knowing at least 1 or 2 players have your back properly.

The Aoba. It was where I learnt the transition from the rapid fire HE spamming world of cruisers to the slow(er) firing world of 203 based cruisers. And for me it was a long and painful lesson to learn. Although I did improve my CA play, my average damage in it was akin to tier 4 cruisers (29k) and my win rate suffered at a corresponding rate (43% in the end). Now those stats are improved from where they were about half way through the grind which tells you how bad I had been doing. However, I seem to be consistently be doing better in my Myoko/Mogami so that is something

As with other people my problem is not prem ships being allowed in competition, my problem is that the prem ships outperform standard ships and that should not be the case. So I voted no - parity between prem and non prem ships is entirely achievable and this is what I would like to see.

Finished the 3k main battery hits just using my Tirp/Yamato - you can easy rack up 50-60 hits per game with them which is decent enough. Think I have about 9.25 mil damage now so getting close.

And hopeless AA/secondaries until you get it upgraded. But it is a stock setup after all, so it should be worse than it can be. At least now a competent player will be able to kick out enough damage to get the upgrades it needs.
