  1. Yes, but that is a pretty poor assumption to make. I'm not sure what the average game time is but it is certainly shorter than that and then there is the fact that people don't live to the end of each game anyway. So, even if you got an ave server match time of 15 minutes then individual average game times would be lower again.
  2. It is actually quite easy once you get used to it. First avoid their fighters with your TBs - try tying their fighters up with yours and when their fighters are busy zoom past with your TBs. Second perfect the manual drop: At tier 4 there are not many ships with great AA meaning as long as you pick the right target (big slow BBs are ideal at first) you can spend your time lining up perfectly i.e. you might have to skirt around the ship to get a better angle if they start turning. Then, the idea is to launch your torps right in front of their path whilst holding alt (for manual launch) and you want to get them as close as possible to the ship whilst leaving arming room* You can learn the arming distance by watching the torps as they hit the water. At first you just have the torp trails but after a second or so they get tiny green triangles on each torp and they indicate that your torps have armed. The final thing to note is that you need to lock in the attack i.e. hold alt, aim and then left click whilst your TB squad is outside of the aim circle (otherwise they have to leave the circle and line up and your target has moved). It is possible to keep setting revised attack points right up until your planes start the attack run and the aim circle turns yellow however sometimes it is less responsive than you would like.
  3. This. Focus on the weekly missions Dauntless. If you do those then chip away at the overall ones. You will surprise yourself how far you get
  4. I think you can't join because access is denied and unfortunately, you have no access to that page...
  5. Ahaha. Please don't put things in quote marks that I didn't say when talking about what I did say. It isn't fair. And it is boring arguing with someone who descends to the smallest details (but if we are going to nitpick I haven't admitted that I have no idea of your forum presence - just that I haven't read everything). My original post is that you love to complain, you love to argue (as proved in this exchange) but at least this time you haven't resorted to telling everyone how big you are. Lol.
  6. Lol. My time is too precious for that. Get over yourself. Also, my opinion only comes from what I have seen. Believe it or not I do not follow you around so I am not necessarily your new player advice. A hint for future - there is probably only 1 person in the whole world who has read every post you have made.
  7. The thing is that it isn't working like it did before the patch. Things have has definitely altered. I understand what you are saying about the 3 seconds still spotted, but what I know is that when playing my Fubuki last night I was getting shot at way more often that I should have been. and that should have been comes from experience in 376 DD matches and 30 specifically in the Fubuki.

Dealing with no RN lines being added

Nice one! Not Royalist or Caroline but you are in the right ballpark timewise The DD is pre 1900. Well, he said RS for top right so I didn't include it. Adding now. Royal Sovereign - Devastation Warrior - Queen Elizabeth ?? (DD below warrior) - dreadnought (plan view) ?? (cruiser) - Argus Dreadnought T-class - Illustrious Hood Belfast - Rodney Cavalier - ?? (minesweeper) - Daring Vanguard County class - ?? (minehunter) - ?? (2 ships of the same name below Daring) Leander class - Type 42 (batch 3) Type 23 - ?? (OPV) - ?? ?? (smaller sub) - ?? (big sub!) - ??
  9. Nope but I know you on the forums from other events. Remember the halloween event? You have 'form'. Nothing difficult. But then you knew there wasn't a start time in place and proceeded to free up your morning anyway.
  10. Or don't calm down - I bet he doesn't really care either way. I'm kind of thinking that you set the morning aside just so that you would have something to [edited]about if it didn't start when you wanted it to. You are that kind of person.
  11. I checked the wows home page on my way here. I thought the number of pages on this thread might have hit double figures by now so I was slightly out, but good to see the meltdown from some people is real. Carry on!

Dealing with no RN lines being added

Oops - missed your post and both of those are correct. Yea... that is my concern. It might be a month or so before I get chance to take a crack it (still be faster than RN being added!) but I'll let you know

Dealing with no RN lines being added

The top right is older than Royal Sovereign. I had no clue about its existence but have done some reading up on it. RS is there though ;) Warrior is correct. Renown is incorrect (see below) With Acasta do you mean the top down one? That one is a bit of a cheat as it appears twice on the jigsaw. As RichardNixon points out it is the dreadnought. Norfolk is incorrect - earlier than the county class cruisers. Dreadnought is correct. R1 for the sub? Nope... but I would have no idea about subs anyway! Illustrious is correct. Hood is correct. Belfast is correct. Nelson is near enough correct - it is the Rodney (ships crest is above it). Cavalier and Daring are both correct. Vanguard is correct. Good work! No Warspite but the Queen Elizabeth is there second one down from top right. Biggest ship is the slightly flawed battlecruiser we had that didn't survive its encounter with the Bismarck. RS is not the top right one. I'll actually be surprised if anyone gets it And the top down one is the dreadnought again but as I said above it is a bit sneaky since it has the plan and the profile view of the same ship. Type 23 is correct, Leander is correct, county is correct and batch 3 type 42 is correct. Good work. Dreadnought is also correct so extra kudos there.

Bad weather in North map with "cyclone"

I'm trying to avoid a slightly sarcastic reply but your post is tempting me a lot. If the cyclone makes capping an excellent option then people need to take defence as seriously as a sneaky attack once the cyclone hits.

Is Tirpitz the Type 59 of WOWS?

Lol. The Lowe robust? I don't think so. Plenty of tanks can penetrate the turret cheeks when facing directly at it without even having to chance the cupola. And it is godawful slow which is not the Tirpitz. And I can't reliably citadel the Tirp but I have citadelled them many times, and in turn I've taken plenty myself.

    What's going on with PVE?

Suggestion: Don't sail into a situation where 4 ships can shoot at you. Yea but the XP rewards are abysmal in coop meaning progressing through the lines is painfully slow in coop. You would be far better off playing less PvP games but actually making some tangible progress. And you cannot complain at the gameplay when you have played 34 games in PvP.

    Secondaries in 0.5.5

I played a few games in my Yamato and didn't notice anything really amiss but usually my concentration is being dragged in several directions at once - I'll defo keep an eye out though.
  19. To a certain extent yes. but, you have to remember that tier 7 is easily manageable without premium and a decent player (which THD is) can turn a profit at tier 8 - not to mention if you own a tier 8 premium. Also, if you couple that with the fact the number of games needed to elite a ship going up tier upon tier and I would not expect tiers 4-5 to dominate the graph of a 5k games player. I should also add that I don't mind people running around trolling tier 4 and 5 if they really want to but if they start complaining about divisions farming then that makes me want to stand up and start saying words like 'pot', 'kettle' and 'black'.
  20. Because you don't need to learn teamplay at any tier. Don't try to tell me it is different at other teams. This game does not require teamplay. It doesn't promote it. And whilst it might be advantageous to use it, you will only ever get some people on board and a lot of the time you need to be focussing on your own play. Of course you can get reported for doing well. It would be interesting to see the full chat log to see how friendly in chat worked for the entire game. Don't talk about farming with your track record. You are a certified clubber (42% of games at tiers 4 and 5). You might describe it as more 'fun' at lower tiers but that is only because you can successfully dominate games more easily.
  21. If you could put 2 hours a day into it then you could have easily got a kamikaze. Besides, if it really is like the kamikaze event then there will be plenty of flags and credits to be had as well making it worth putting your name down.
  22. Yea, was a close run game in the end but we held out for the win. You top, me 3rd. We played our part
