I managed to get up this morning, get the PC on and updating and then dived into the shower. By the time I had eaten breakfast the game was updated and I managed 1 game in the Nassau and whilst it was loading into battle I came to the forum and found out the Scharnhorst was here. I bought it on the spot, played a game in the Nassau and even though it was time to set off to work started a second game in the Scharnhorst

Not without some serious conversion. I wonder how much it would cost to convert enough free XP to get to the Bismarck...

I think by tomorrow there will be enough 4-5 BBs for my Gremy to prey on. Minekazes will rejoice.

Only played my 1 game in it and didn't really get enough from it to make a proper judgement but a few points: 1) dayum it looks good. 2) had to adjust to the shell flight time a bit... missed stuff I didn't think I should for the first 4-5 savloes. 3) reload is sweeeet. 4) Armour seemed nice but I only had fairly limited incoming fire so not really tested.

2 games... 2 wins. Seemed fine to me

It will be like this for a day or so. It takes next to no time to elite the Nassau and move on. Better getting in there when everyone has the same tier tbh...

Can't wait for the Belfast. Defo going to have to buy that. Is the new DD shooting at a Omaha? If they won't sell Gremy again for being to OP I'm not sure how giving its successor an extra gun will balance a gunboat DD... sure they can nerf the torp range or something but it is still a gunboat at heart.

What? I never said it was a crime. And besides, they are only stopping you from "put[ting] some cash into a free to play game" for an extra couple of days. If they had said they were not going to release it on EU at all then you might have a small argument but they are not so you don't. As for affording it, good for you! I'm happy for you and everyone else who thinks it is worthy of their money. I'll be getting it myself when it arrives but until then I will just carry on looking forwards to it and in the mean time I will play other ships that I currently own. People can get all twisted and angry about the 'fairness' but I just don't have the energy to be angry about when I get to play a ship compared to another server. It isn't like they are playing the Scharnhorst against us or anything.

Oh wow. So the anger is still ongoing. I hope that it doesn't come with tomorrow's patch but actually they save it until Saturday. Can we be up to 30 pages by then? 40?

I don't get why there is all of the outrage. I know the footstomping "it's just not fair!" problem and yea perhaps it would be nice to release everywhere at the same time but some people are more angry than if someone had just walked in and fired them without warning. If you have to wait an extra couple of days over another server does it really matter? Like really really matter? Just play another ship, or play another game for a day or so and then get your fill of the Scharnhorst.

I haven't been playing mine much for a long time but played 4-5 games in it over the weekend and it seems the same as it was with the deck coated in flammable liquid and you just bleed health from every hit... but 2 double citadels in 3 salvoes made me think the guns were still pretty decent

Eh? so you are saying stock Colorado wasn't painful? No AA, no speed and no range... it was horrible! Upgraded it was nice but with no upgrades it was soul destroyingly bad.

I can't remember the NM stock but certainly getting off A hull for some AA and improving range are important to making it more effective in a match, but then that will be the case for most German BBs as well I expect. Personally, I have no ships close to being unlocked currently so the over 70k free EXP I have will be getting ploughed into the BB line to give me semi-upgraded ships from the start.

I use my CV to ruin certain individual's games ...but they do not as a class ruin a match.

The reports can work: Just this morning I took out my Karlsruhe for its second ever game. When I died that made 7 of our team dead and yet 2 of our top tier Wyomings were behind where they spawned and both had full health fully 10 minutes into the match. They were in fact so far back that the enemy was in our cap engaging them. When I told them that as top tier players in the 'tank' class them being at the back was causing our loss they both came back calling me the idiot and saying how I was blind - "can't you see I have 1 kill!" yelled one. He was second from bottom. The other guy to his credit did finish 2nd on our woeful team but he was the very last alive giving himself time to get a bit of damage in. Those 2 people reported me and I have a 1 day in-game chat ban to my name - my first ever chat ban. I know that it was just those 2 as it says so in the notifications out of game that I received 2 reports but I was slightly surprised that 2 reports could effect an automatic ban. I finished top. In my Karlsruhe. Despite dying 5 minutes before 2nd place guy.
