Between making that post and now, I played 1 game in my Fletcher (16k commander XP ) and now I have the full 300 awarded.

Yes ranked, coop and team all count. Looks like we are in the same boat (lolz ship pun) so to speak except you have an extra tier 10 These provide no benefit in a ranked situation and should be used when your XP gain is likely to be highest but for captains you need boosting. Personally, I have so many flags I can use quite a few in randoms and never fear running out.

I now have 200 dragon flags (well 210 in total). The 200 matches my 3k games played but I haven't got the 100 for my 2x tier X - this contradicts the original message from Cynd3r which said tier X flags would come first - I hope they have not missed me off the ships list...

Stop taking generalisations personally. There is nothing wrong with you enjoying the game in CBT, so did I and I'm still here too, but it doesn't change the fact that CBT wasn't some pinnacle of teamplay lost to the past - something akin to Valyria in GoT.

No, people were learning the game and making plenty of mistakes in the process. Now people have a greater understanding of the game, people have a better sense of how to get the most out of each game mechanic and as people get better they get more critical and intolerant of those that do not conform to their standard.

It is bizarre that some people have received some of their flags... but probably not all. It isn't like everyone has their tier X only flags or something like that - it seems to be just a random and undecipherable mix of people who have maybe got more than their original 10. I got my 10 on the 16th (or whenever) but haven't got any since.

But, stock setup is always only temporary and also only represents a small portion of your time with the ship and as such it is unrepresentative. The ships are balanced based on their fully upgraded spec. And, if you want to compare stock setups then the Fuso (as another tier 6 BB) has a far worse stock configuration. As I mentioned in my original post I free XP to the B hull. I save my free XP to spare myself the tortuous games getting to a full spec ship. Whilst I do not have enough free XP for every module on every ship (I don't convert it) I save it and use it sparingly. Having watched videos ( ) about the German BBs I knew about the kinds of free XP requirements I needed. If you want to make grinds easier then always save your free XP for the bare minimum of modules to make it competitive and grind the other modules and certainly never use it to unlock another ship.

I bought the Tirpitz during its first sale and as such had a 15 point captain when the German BBs appeared. I stuck this captain out of the way in my Emden where it hasn't moved for weeks. I then started captain 2 with my Scharnhorst and have, when time permits, played my daily in my silver German BB (currently the Bayern), then in my shiney horse and then also in my Tirpitz. This has catapulted it up to I think 13 skill points already. I need the 2 captains for the Bismarck and GK. I'm currently toying with the idea of, as soon as I hit 15 skill points with the 2nd captain starting a 3rd and then keeping the FdG... but, I'm a long way off playing that so I don't actually know if I will enjoy it as much as I think I will.

Did the OP seriously come here and complain about a stock ship? I'm currently playing it and it is ok but I free XP to the B hull (doesn't it get better shells with it?) and it is nice and tanky. Some people seem to really like it but its guns seem really weak for their size - the Warspite guns are much more punchy. Add to it the relatively slow speed, low range, low number of guns and it just isn't a ship to get excited about.

If you want to make a point try and steer clear of petulant statements like that. p.s. added on a bit to really show how idiotic your statement was.

I got detonated this morning from 90% hp in my Bayern. It made me incredibly angry... but then I do love doing it to other people

I just had a similar game where I was last alive except mine was t9 and I had no caps which explains the XP difference: Frustrating. Oh and got called a camper n00b.

Not sure how it stands up to general Gnevny scores but I bought it, free XP the FCS and did this in my first game, and who doesn't like first games like this... particularly on a 3x weekend:

I find the spotter plane view angle awkward but I can usually adjust. But, I rarely use one anyway - most ships can pick a fighter and since that stays in the air longer and has a better change of doing something useful like spotting torps/DDs then I prefer it. My only ship currently with it is the Warspite and it can come in useful very occasionally but I play her quite aggressively and this reduces the times I use it to less than once per game on average.

You have already decided based on old information. Odd. I won't be making a decision until I actually know how they will play.

I'm hoping we are close to the others: 19,809 on king of the party - hopefully 20k 44,295 on run! admiral! run! - hopefully 45k... more of a problem if 50k

I played with Kastike 2 mornings ago in my Bayern and our aggressive BBs did help get us the win.
