Today was the day I got a SC, with 41 stored containers. It had 5 million credits in it (took me back over 50 mil credits total after buying and upgrading the Chapyev and Shiratsuyu this weekend. I wasn't exactly desperate for credits! Oh well, time to open the remaining 40... found 2 more SC in there! 1x 50k free XP (I now have 370k total... please give us a new ship to buy with free XP!) and then 1x spotting aircraft upgrade (urg). So, it seems I have got 6 SC in 1.5 months and that has given me 5 mil credits, 150k free XP, 50 dragon flags and 1 stupid spotter plane upgrade. Can't complain! And yes, I am hoping some of you are really jealous of me

The last thing I want to do is skip playing any of the Brit BBs. If it takes me twice as long as the 'average' player to get to tier 10, so be it.

How do these flags make you win more?

£35 for those. Let's remind ourselves of the Hood ultimate package: £30 of dubloons. £30 of ship. £35 of flags (apparently). + captain, camo, consumables, modules and flag. Actual cost of the bundle was £85. If you think the flags are at a reasonable price then that bundle gives you a lot more for your money.

Did they go? I got 100 dragon flags about 1 month ago.

It would have to be a serious re-balance - being able to decide in a match on the fly would be far too overpowered. Perhaps if they put +1min rearm time every time you swapped it could work. But, as it stands they have said it will be a module, like the flight decks are currently.

Removing your ability to start DoT on your own, and severely hampering your ability to deal with CAs/DDs... not sure it is a great idea. I mean, I am yet to see how they fare against DDs, but with the super elongated ellipse I expect most bombs will miss and the 1-2 that hit will do overpen dmg... you better be confident in your ability to hit them with your 1 TB squadron... Maybe I will try them, but I don't think that they will end up being the optimal loadouts. Ironically, it does make Saipan potato loadout more viable.

I think it would be better for everyone if the mods continued to delete your topics.

First game was an easy 5 stars on the new mode. Saw loads of cruisers only queuing so took out the Ryujo. Didn't know what I was doing but it was hellish easy. I have seen on reddit someone mention the amagi/Fuso/Kongo but they were not there and TBH I could have dealt with them given a bit of time.

Interesting. I have the Ognevoi and Tashkent and I must admit I find the Ognevoi really underwhelming - I don't know what I am supposed to be doing in it. The Tashkent on the other hand... I only played a couple of games but you can rack up the damage if you can just harass enemy ships and largely avoid the caps.

I'd bloody love to see everyone play the release patch again. See how much fun you find it when people run into old CVs, broken citadels and barren UI. The rose tinted spectacles are real.

I moved a captain from 17 points to 18 points in about a week by playing 1 game/day in Cleveland (operations) and 1 game per day in the Missouri. I was surprised how quickly I was able to do it.

It is sill when you see a gunboat DD that is shooting at a DD for 1-2k a salvo and then a BB smashes it for 8k in 1 volley. Whilst it is nice when you are in said BB and need the DD dead now, things are out of whack with it and it does make it very difficult for DD captains.

I find it is possible to fly up the tech trees if I want to. Particularly now with the immense supply of flags and camos that I have lying around. I have actually taken to removing camos from some ships just so that I can enjoy them some more - often I use the camos to play stock ships to unlock the modules (thus saving my free XP in case of the next free XP ship), and then if the ship isn't terrible I just girnd away. I think I worked out the other day that I have maybe 9 ships I am grinding, and with a port of 53 I basically play any ship only to the first win, and many of them only get 1-3 games a week which slows me down, but the number of games needed is low.

What ship were you in?

Very tanky and consistent. I enjoy playing her. EDIT: For you, she performs at a similar level to your other tier 7 BBs so I am not sure why you single her out as being different.

I have got 5 stars twice in solo play. You are being a whiney little b..... It might take a few attempts depending on who you get matched with, but if you make sure you put your big boy pants on each game then a decent enough player with some average players supporting them can lift the team up to 5 stars.

For someone who is at work, can anyone tell me what day the mission will change over to the next scenario? Also, whilst I agree CV is hugely powerful, I played last night and got 5 stars without even having a CV. We had me (Cleveland), 2x divisioned Budyonnys, 1x Dunkerque, 1x Warspite (or Bayern) and a 7th I don't remember. We lost 2 ships but still managed to get the 5 stars.

Well, I would always argue that you spec the captain for the silver ship it will live in, not for a premium ship, and yes AFT is a better option. ET, in some cases might allow you to launch an extra strike but in most situations it won't gain you anything over what you would be able to achieve without the skill.
