I got my Ishizuchi right after I bought the Myoko and Wyoming. After a few games, here are my experiences:
Pros:
- 28 knots of speed. Dayum, this thing feels fast, and generally a lot more manouvreable than other T4 battleships. Can dodge incoming fire and torpedoes a lot easier than its peers.
- Decent armament. Only 305mm guns, but it has 10 of them in 5 turrets. Turret traverse is faster than the Myoko, too.
- Looks nice.
Cons:
- Crap armour. This thing is a battlecruiser, speed and manouvreability are its best defence.
- Shorter firing range than T4 battleships
Personally, I think the range is workable, and I really like the speed and manouvreability. The Ishizuchi plays differently than the Wyoming or Myoko, with this beauty, you can stick with your cruisers and blow enemy light ships out of the water with ease, soften up T4 Battleships while they are occupied with other battleships, do hit and run attacks, quickly go back when your flag is capped...
Out of the T3 and T4 Battleships I played before, this is my favourite so far. Oh, and because it's a prem ship, I can use my other ships' commanders on it without retraining, and grind money and exp.
