  8. ...due to their ability to secure caps The team with fewer DDs is bound to lose unless their overall skill is much higher than the enemy's which is on average not the case. The Disadvantaged team will always fall back in points in early game because allied DDs will either get outnumbered and bullied away or there is just not enough of them to challenge the cap zones. Perfidiously enough, +2 DD advantages are rather common. This is when you stand no chance at all. Please WG, consider tweaking the MM in away that gives both teams similar odds in Domination at least. In Standard it's not much of a problem but standard is not fun to play anyway

  17. Since patch 0.5 engine boost doesn't influence your concealment anymore. And even before, the detectability used to get a penalty of 200m whereas the bomber spots me from 300m outside my 3.1km range. My solid guess would be that the spotting system is full of crap these days but it doesn't help the cause. Before devs can fight the problem they need to name the problem. Maybe my screen points into the right direction of one of the present bugs.

  21. There are at least 3 different concealment-related bugs that have been introduced with 0.5.5. I have been both on the receiving end and been able to consistently exploit the first two. The first is that ships no longer immediately disappear if they are inside smoke circle radius; it takes anywhere up to 10 seconds between when Situational Awareness tells you that you are no longer detected and when other players are no longer able to target your ship. I'm not talking shell travel time, blind fire or tracking hits either, nor is the concealed ship travelling to quickly to stay in smoke radius. On many occasions, I've asked enemy players who have successfully tracked me through smoke even though Situational Awareness says I'm no longer detected - every single one of them claim I was in plain view long after I was supposed to be concealed. The second one is some sort of client/lag issue with the new stealth-fire mechanics. When firing from concealment, then entering line of sight up to a couple of seconds after firing, your ship is rendered and able to be targeted for a very short duration before becoming concealed again. This happens quite a lot, and it's easily observable in matches where there is plenty of cover. The last one happens periodically and I don't even know where to begin in trying to figure it out. Situational Awareness informs you that you are detected via surface spotting(not plane or radar) with no possible source. I've had matches where I'm at distances of over 10km from a Yamato with all enemy DD dead or accounted for, and suddenly Situational Awareness flashes surface detection and the BB's secondaries instantly open fire on me for a single salvo before I become concealed again. Enemies can also clearly see this as well on their clients; people that happen to have guns pointed in my area will open fire when they see me - I've been sniped by an Iowa from 15km away before in a similar situation with no possible detection sources alive in the area, thinking he was just firing at someone in my direction somewhere. These bugs have been observed on my crazy grind for new 17 point IJN DD commanders during the xp bonus events/missions to replace the ones that have are being held hostage by the high-tier torpedo changes without a skill reset, so it's over the course of many, many games. Needless to say, it's frustrating at the least and many of the matches I've played since 0.5.5 have been very prematurely cut short due to these issues.
