I stream, I organised a little event on Polish section with Murmańsk and 2 x 1000 doubloons giveaway (from my own pocket), I got Atago, Atlanta, Murmańsk premium ships, and didn't play a week without premium account. And I'm very dissapointed at what the Management section do. However, I see some improvements - weekly missions and Test Drive event for example. But. But I also see that we're being neglected, I'm feeling neglected. I'm feeling, that I'm not being seduced by juicy offers to spend my money, I'm not being encouraged to pick WG game before all other I can play due to in - game events. And at the same time I see that on other server you can make a christmas decoration for such sweet looking ship as Mikasa? Damn man. I would send them whole god damn christmas tree decorated with ships for that piece of art Mikasa is. But I can't do it, cause EU doesn't have that event. Now, it wouldn't be an issue if we had anything comparable going on, advertised on main page, or in client. But we don't. We don't have any contest or event that would incite me to play this game, and not play Fallout 4, LA Noir, Witcher 3, LoL, CoH, SWToR, WoW and many many other games. The only thing that actually keeps me playing WoWs is my passion for naval warfare and their participants. Now, what if any other company made a comparable game to WoWs? You think people would still play WoWs? Or easily migrate to other game? Look how the god damn ugly Steel Ocean chinese (chinese!) game from 15 year ago made people think it might be better then WoWs. I love this game. I don't care at the slightest if the NA gets Tirpitz for free, Atagos for sending pictures of their family dressed as santa etc. as long as EU has anything comparable to it. But, we don't. We even don't have any serious "ask the dev" thread, or chat with devs, or anything like that. I have tons of questions about the game, about it development, what will be added next and how their will to incorporate stuff into game, how they see this class and that class, how it evolved with meta, rankeds etc. And you know what, they don't care. That is dissapointing, sad, and bad for business - this is somewhat first rule of running successful ecommerce/internet/social media business - you have to at least act, like you care.

Oakland AA can again be toned down for balancing reasons without any sweat. Early war configuration, limited range on AA, small DPS due to imperfect early war guns etc. That's not a problem.

I've enjoyed tier VI rankeds - they were fast, brutal and fun. Then I hitted tier VIII rankeds, and game slows down the same way, and for the same reason, as it does in randoms. BB's are shooting at max range, and any CA that tries to make a "play" is instantly focused and forced to run away, or sunk. Of course, I only played a handful of games at that tier, but it's already dissapointing. But, since I wanted to remind myself about New Orlean, and also grind some creds with Atago. I'll play a few more games and see how it goes.

So, a airborne torp with 9k max dmg hits Yamato midship and deals what, 4k dmg?

I have one question, but it might be difficult to answer - are those values about protection from both types of torpedoes - airborne and mounted on ships?

Well, I have Atlanta, and let me tell you, I don't know if she belongs to tier VI with how she currently works, and she's at tier VII. Oakland would have to be a little less AA oriented, but actualy, if she retained the RoF of Atlanta - she would be a cool ship on tier VI, not OP due to obvious flaws, but a nice ship.
