My advise for rankeds is simple - take a ship that have the most chances to win the game solo, while remaining fit for the meta rankeds are being played. If you play BB - take Bismarck or NC. Rankeds are less about mobility, more about tanking. Bismarck can tank a lot, while effectively engaging multiple targets with it's main guns as well as it's secondaries. NC is very hard to push when it's in siege mode, while her guns are being devastating to BB's and CA's. Amagi and Tirpitz are both ok, since they're BB's, and all BB's are very strong. But if I needed even the slightiest advantage to win, I would choose Bis or NC. If you play CA - take Atago or Kutuzov. Atago is stealthy, torpy, and with repair party is a mini BB with CA DPM. It's a mini BB, so already a great pick, and the combination of mobility, durability and utility makes it a very good choice as it can be usefull when fighting any opponent. Kutuzov is on the same level, just offering different advantages. Range helps with 3+ BB's per side, as is RoF and HE spam. Concealment is decent, as is torpedoes. Moreover, it can "deny" a certain zone for the enemy, or create pressure on BB's to start moving, therefore, taking risks. Kutuzov is in my opinion best CL for breaking stalemates. If you don't have and don't plan on acquiring above mentioned ships - take Chapayev. It offers similar utility to Kutuzov, and what she lacks in denial, she repays in offensive capabilities. Well timed radar can be game changing. Without smoke though, if your team is loosing, the "carry" potential is limited on her. If you take PE, Hipper, NO, Mogami - you're taking a subpar ship, that might perform, but she certainly is a liability. If you play DD - take Benson or Lo Yang. Long smoke, gunboat and decent torps just makes it easier to cover your BB, resolve DD vs DD fights, and wither enemy BB's with torps. Fubuki when played well is also very nice, although it might suffer if your opponent has a competent CV player. Torps will be spotted, and Fubuki is a primary target. That's my opinion at least.

To sum up my experience in cruisers from last 50 battles on randoms: All cruisers = crap. Zao = good. Supporting caps/killing DD's = no way Sniping BB's from 16 km = expert gameplay They're not useless, certainly not on randoms. But if you think about doing anything more then hugging island, sitting in smoke, sniping from max range and hoping your team will win for you, don't play cruisers.

Generalnie nie lubię modów i moderstwa. Wiem, że ta opcja jest teraz dostępna w grze, więc może się skuszę, natomiast lubię swoje gry tak "vanilla" jak to możliwe Powiem Ci tak - to nie jest głupie. Głównie dlatego, że walczysz jednak z 5 BB na stronę. Walka z DD jest wtedy raczej na drugim planie, więc może i warto skorzystać. Osobiście raczej nie wyciągam DeDosa teraz z portu, jeżeli miałbym pograć na X, to wolę Zao i palić ćwoków Cieszę się, że się podobają. Wszystkie "używajki" mam premium, ale kupuję je za kredyty, broń boże za dublony. Wiesz że masz opcję zmiany waluty na kredyty przy wyborze premium consumabli? Zerknij na załącznik.

It rarely ended in one - side massacre, and had some great turnaround games, which I actually recorded I think, for me personally, that's the most entertaingin thing in ranked games, meeting all fellow forumites, both those that I like and those that I don't like
