I'm having a hard time figuring out if you're actually serious or just taken the sarcasm so far that you've reached another existential plane While I'm not opposed to balancing CVs in a way that benefits all classes, wouldn't it make fighting tier 8 ships in tier 8 CV like fighting tier 10s in current system? Besides if it was like that in real life we would have no WWII veterans survived post-war rofl edit: I don't know how you guys make double citadels with GZ or any CV for that matter when RNG is such a troll that even fully aiming doesn't help and bombs just fly all over the place but where I aimed them

Have you seen iChase's video of flying shimakaze? The Hakuryu video where he spams 12 torps every 20 secs? Do you remember what it did to enemy team? Made them completely hepless and not playing objectives, his team won, etc.... And what is happening in a lot of tier 10 games when someone tries to play tier 8 CV(I'm only saying this for tier 8 CVs, tier 10 should be able to handle this) Players abuse the new AA mechanic to render CVs useless. That is the only complaint I have rn in terms of CV and AA gameplay. I can do really well in CVs, they are balanced, but I feel like the pendulum of "game mechanic exploitation" is now swinging in favor of surface ships. I'm not saying its against the rules to go together with teammates but, seriously, 8+ ships in literally same spot, and the others that are not with them are alone, sure, but only because they don't need company like worcesters, minos, des moines etc That is my only critic towards the current AA system. People deliberately blobbing so many AA bubbles, perhaps not even deliberately they just went all of them together ( ) and render the CV obsolete. And along with that, surface ships players keep yelling at CV to do something when in reality CV actually can't do anything lel

Nope, not working. In fact kicked me out in the middle of a game, but no biggy, it's ok, graf zeppelin has a lot of planes, I'm sure losing 9 torp bombers is nothing..... And now kicked me out of the game in the middle of testing Kaga, also, losing 12 torp bombers, no biggy....

I am 100% with you that this "fix" (if that's not an insult to the word itself) is one of the most pathetic things I've seen on WoWS This is close to WoT level of pathetic.....

I was literally gonna ask the same thing. Aircraft armor.....is also mandatory.... Not even hard to grind commander xp for points if you can't already buy a 10 skill commander or lots of free exp You always get SE and Aircraft armor skill on CVs..... Those are one of the two most important skills for a CV captain if it wasn't obvious already...

Everyone keeps saying CVs with big squadrons are buffed more by this hotfix than ones with smaller squads....but I have a teeny tiny problem How do you avoid Flak bursts with large squadrons? I can avoid flak with GZ or shokek easier than with, say, Kaga. Easier to avoid flak with 8 or 9 planes than with 12.

Improve survivability expert skill by 10 HP more per tier? PATHETIC. HAVE YOU TRIED PLAYING TIER 8 CVS IN FULL TIER 10? HAVE YOU??!! What about players without the survivability expert skill? If you're gonna be improving captain skills you could've also improved aircraft armor skill from -10% continuous AA damage to -20%(or at least -15%) continuous damage taken. And even those combined would not save tier 6 CV in tier 8 battle or tier 8 CV in tier 10 battle. How about giving the heal consumable to all planes, not just torpedo bombers? How about giving all carriers deck size to fit minimum 2 full squadrons instead of 1.5?(Kaga excluded) What about balancing Saipan? I feel like that particular CV(which is premium, people paid MONEY for it) has suffered the most....I don't have it but I've seen its planes melting like polar ice caps in any MM.

I absolutely agree that verbal bullying and insults are not necessary. I don't mainly play CVs, I play all classes but, God, take a CV to a random battle and get either reported or harassed for no reason other than just because I took CV. I play other ship classes too, and I get attacked by CVs in battles, and I don't complain about it. I think CVs add variety to the game, balance some aspects of it, so that no ship class has total dominance over the others, or to prevent camping and stuff. It's just people find it easier to complain about everything than anything else...

Wasn't my intention to crap talk anyone....just tired of people pretending to be living deities just because they play DDs and hate CVs. I would go as far as to say CVs at the moment in update 0.8.5 have higher skill cap than destroyers. On the contrary, I feel almost like an idiot struggling to play BBs and trying to use the brain, thinking always 2-3 minutes ahead, like a game of chess, getting coffee breaks until the damn thing even turns or starts moving.......and then what, get torped or HE spammed by some trolls in destroyers/cruisers I felt a relief and actual fun and happiness playing leningrad than any BB I've played with before. I was like: "DAMN I was such an idiot struggling with BBs when I could've just trolled people in a DD like it's nothing, a walk in the park maybe"

Oh really? I entered - a tier 9 battle - with leningrad - never played destroyers even - half the battle - I sink an almost full health Iowa. Capped some points(in domination) and did some HE spam damage and won. I repeat, never played destroyers before(at least not any higher than tier 2) and had very good results... Not to mention platooning with my friend in german DD (who has hydro thus keeping us safe from enemy torpedoes....) I'm sorry, but, I feel like everyone is exaggerating just how much skill it's needed to play destroyers

I don't have any of those ships, I don't even play destroyers, I got leningrad couple of days ago in the standard "in service of the motherland" container and even though I thought I can't play with destroyers.....for example I was in tier 9 battle with it and I just rounded a corner and beautifully sunk an Iowa that was like full health with all my torpedoes.....pop a smoke, I'm invisible(when there're no radar cruisers of course). If there's radar cruisers I just activate engine boost and scoot out of there....heck...dds even have the aim assist with torps, carrier don't(or if they have I'm an idiot for not knowing it). Torping anyone with a destroyer feels too easy to me. Torping someone with CV as of NOW? Dang, you lose all planes for doing what.....10k damage? And that is ONLY if you hit with all of them which is almost never since everyone starts turning the second your squadron gets spotted, you can't circle because it takes forever and they keep turning.....and don't even get me started on uptiered carriers and enemies blobbing up their AA refusing to separate. My point of view is that both CVs and DDs success depends on level of enemies's stupidity. Only difference is, people are more afraid of CVs than destroyers and destroyers have easier time to pull off some fantastic torpedo strikes/capping etc etc while carrier's planes get spotted from 10 km and suddenly half of enemy team just starts turning rings around the rosie....

Excuse me but I regularly crap on +2 tier ships in other things other than CV(especially destroyers) roflmao It's the CVs that are now more unplayable than surface ships

Serious talk now, I don't know if WG actually reads these but.....I have a suggestion, why not give a heal to all squadrons not just torpedo bombers, if this AA stays? And make it either heal more % per second or make it last longer than 5 sec...
