Ugh....sir....you have no idea what kind of teams I get in 3/4 of all matches. I admit, I am a n00b. I am one of the biggest n00bs in WoWS. And I'm not ashamed of that, I have less than 1k battles I believe and haven't even reached tier 9 ships yet, highest I've reached is Bismarck and Shokaku but that's max. But when a player like me, a n00b player, ends up first or at least in top 4 players in a team by....everything I guess lol, you can't see damage and stuff like in WoT, by base exp I guess, you'd be headbanging against the wall like me too. Most of the teams I get are ! I lose so many battles, not because I haven't been doing anything, but because I had to do everything myself! And that's why I kind of despise playing carriers now, because if you don't drive an actual surface ships you can't expect doing anything meaningful or influential to the outcome of a battle. Everyone expects a CV player to be some kind of Zeus striking enemies with thunder and insta killing them or whatever. People are stupid, rush, die, do nothing, expect carrier to win a fight alone vs half of enemy team if not more and then "CV noob" "CV idiot"

I indeed played RTS CVs(reached only ryujo tho and when I returned rework was already in 0.8.3. and I had my ryujo in the port), and I hated it so much, AA wasn't even the problem then for me as much as USN fighters just patrolling the map and denying every.single.[edited].attack.run.I.tried. I couldn't even use the manual drops it was too complicated for me I only ever used cross-drops using auto-drop by only adjusting the drop angle :P But yea I know what you all are trying to say but.....in the videos on youtube everyone makes it seem it's so easy, no, it's not easy. You try to attack anyone with torpedoes they start dodging and I'm NOT good with maths and that crap I can't estimate how to drop torpedoes at someone turning while I'm doing drop. More often than not everyone just seems to evade my 2-4 torpedoes like it's nothing, like they're drifting in a sports car not a [edited]warship. Also, whoever said it's a delight to drop DDs with HE dive bombers is a complete moron because it's impossible. RNG is so bad you NEVER hit anything, and even if you do you do so little damage I can hear laughter from the other side of the globe. Plane losses I feel are too much, on all CVs I play I have a captain with air supremacy, upgrades for engine boost time and last gasp, survivability expert and aircraft armor and plane health modules and flight control mod(I almost always go for regen and health build for planes...but I think I should reconsider that). And then when the drop fails, I do no damage and then I have to spend half a minute dodging flak and escaping the AA so that when I press F I don't pay respect but actually get planes back. Like I said, everyone always bunching up, no lone targets, I feel like people have learned to successfully counter CVs, people know that only staying together now renders CV obsolete

Yes, you can indeed work with having a worcester, des moines or minotaur escorting every damn low-to-average AA ship in enemy team. Of course, silly me

It doesn't matter how old it is, the same thing happens now, the same thing happened here. I was just trying to picture it to you visually to see what happens to me in EVERY tier 10 battle with tier 8 CVs. Evade heavy AA? Have you tried playing Kaga? Evade flak with Kaga? Kaga's planes maneuverability feels like I have ping 999, takes them good 3 seconds to respond to changing directions, not to mention the pathetic speed even with boost.... Evade flak? "evading" flak implies that there's a ROOM for avoiding, you can't avoid flak if it's literally so much of flak around you that you have no space to avoid it.

Disclaimer: I know how old this video is, and it's not my video... Watch this video of Kaga performing in tier 10 battle and THEN tell me CVs are OP I mean, tier 10 CVs, I don't care about those, hell I don't even care about tier 10 as a tier itself, I prefer tiers 6-8 This level of AA uptiered carriers have to face is absurd, I don't care what anyone says, but it's ABSURD!!!

If you say so. Please, please, i'm begging to all of you. Don't ruin this game for me, like WoT got ruined. I spent, a LOT of money on WoT and it got destroyed so much that I uninstalled it and never plan to return there.....never.... Removing premium consumables/making premium consumables only ones and free is the step in the right direction towards F2P players and community in general, making the skill more relevant than equipment and consumables one uses.

No re-grinds for CVs? Wouldn't it be better.....? You would....like....reduce the number of high tier CVs in the MM, which would result in fewer CV populated matches(better for surface ships players) and upgrades could increase CV characteristics like more charges of planes consumables, maybe more plane HP or bigger deck sizes(because 1.5 squadron size on deck is bull if you ask me).....

I don't trust them, they will make a way to reduce the CV playability further. I don't blame them, who you gonna listen, minority playing CVs or majority playing surface ships? Of course the majority, that's how democracy works :P I think I might meddle with data and statistics collection of CVs and AA on live server by just flying my planes into enemy AA, getting them destroyed without actually doing damage....(oh wait....that's what I do anyway....yea, scratch that...) I meant without trying to do damage, because why bother even, easier to go forward and invest in secondaries than in planes...do more dmg anyway......

Umm...have you....checked, you know....E-25's concealment? Base concealment? No? How about with camouflage, camo skill 100% on all crew? Have you seen the reload of the gun, a.k.a dpm? Have you tried combining the two? No? Have you even played WoT ever? Also how you can attack a blob of T10 ships with KAGA!!!!(KAGA!!!!!! T7 PLANES!!!!!)and survive and get deplaned in 15 minutes is beyond me. Do you attack every 5 minutes and say it takes 15 minutes to get deplaned? Like you say, replay or a video or it didn't happen

Defender, IS-3A, E-25 and Chrysler K would love to have a word with you lel They are in fact so much stronger than tech tree counterparts that it's not even funny, and they don't have preferential MM, but they don't need it, or at least, neither do tech tree tanks have it I've seen these tanks I've listed here shitting on absolutely everyone they meet except those same tanks. Never before has getting a kolobanov medal or radley-walters medal, or even pool's medal been easier to get.... I'm not saying premium ships in WoWS should crap on everyone like that as well, God no, there are some actually balanced premium tanks in woT like the recent lansen C I'm saying that you should have at least some chance against higher tiers as well. The balancing mechanic for CVs doesn't work because it starts with the CV attacking one target that has no help from its team whatsoever. That's.simply.not.the.case.anymore. At least not in tier 9 and 10 battles. Not gonna happen. The only ships that separate and go alone are those that have so much AA that they don't need company to defend themselves from air attacks. If enemy teams decides to cap a point they will all come together blobbing their AA simply negating anything enemy CV tries to do, completely making CV as a player irrelevant. That's the main problem.

You know what? All this time I was hating WoT because of their same or even worse game mechanics, OP tanks and stuff like that..... But you know what? AT LEAST WEAK PREMIUM TANKS LIKE IS-6, 112, SUPER PERSHING, JAGDTIGER 8,8 CM AND SUCH HAVE PREFERENTIAL MATCHMAKING!!!! Those tanks were made in the beginning, designed to be in the middle, better than their stock state tech tree counterparts but worse than top state tech tree counterparts. They had some features that would made them underperforming if put in +2 matchmaker and so they got preferential matchmaking(e.g. IS-6 soviet tier 8 heavy tank gets to see only +1 tier, no tiers 10 because its gun is too weak, even with premium ammo + they got buffed significantly recently, ALL preferentials) I don't see the reason why that wouldn't be made for at least (some) premium ships in WoWS... Tier 4 CVs don't get to see tiers 6 and they're not even premium, but tech tree regular ones rofl Why make tier 4 CVs have preferential matchmaking, but not tier 6 and 8? I smell here.

Well....you say squishiest, I say the most worthless ones.... Because my mentality is I use only rockets in the beginning not to lose those precious ones(Torp and dive bombers) at least not that early in the match.... Everyone, I repeat, EVERYONE is bunched up, clustered together, no lone targets...as I've said, CVs are a class that to do good in a battle depend on enemy's stupidity and ignorance. If enemy involves 1% of their brain effort to track your planes on the map you will not get a single point of damage without losing at least half of your planes. Trading 4-6 planes to get what.....5-6k dmg? Let's use math, if carrier has in total 50 planes that is......around what 48k dmg total? And no planes left.... In tier 10, I've yet not encountered a tier 10 match where at least an average, let alone weak AA ship, got separated enough so I could "crap" on him. No, I never crap on anyone in CV, I rather have to bite and bleed to get any kind of damage. And I'm not opposed to that, but it's kind of annoying seeing youtube videos of people playing CVs and saying they just "crap" on everyone.....oh please, NO YOU DON'T. That is like 1 in 15 battles where you happen to find people ignorant enough to punish them. The rest people are just too smart for -2 tier CV. I got SO PISSED OFF......usually when I get to that level of "pissed off" I get up, and punch the nearest wall with my fist so hard I leave blood stains on it. I paid for that. The worst thing is, I perform better in tech tree CV than in premium. Tried playing shokaku for first time in a month or so and did almost like 100k dmg and won.

You know, yesterday I got 2 games in full tier 10 in my Kaga. I flew around a spot in a domination trying to spot something for my team in my rocket planes I didn't even attack the dude(Salem) and 1 sec(maybe less) after I've spotted him my squadron got deleted. Instantly. I tried attacking the dude with second rocket squadron(I thought he just activated dfAA) I got halfway through to his mid-range AA aura and my planes just got deleted instantly. Not 1 attack plane got its rockets off. After that I took torpedo and dive bombers and sunk myself. Because NO!!!!
