And you throw your ship away as well! Seriously, ramming is a bad idea unless you're really low HP going against a near full HP target. So please, don't let your team down and do the reasonable thing.

No, this game is about fighting ships. If you want do derp around not paying any attention - fine but expect to be taken out quickly. If you want something where you're invincible, just moving forward and shooting you're better off with playing something singleplayer. But don't whine here, if you don't have situational awareness don't cry when the lack of it got you killed.

Again, you spotted torpedoes, not the planes. If you did it right you would not be sailing at full speed without going evasive taking a screenshot. Instead you should have slowed down as soon as you saw them going for a run and turned to port in which case you could evade them or take just one. But why take advice when you can cry on the forum instead...

Sorry I may have sounded harsh because I'm tired of all people whining about MM in WoT But you can't really evaluate it now as it's the first time there's so many people present and it's still likely running on alpha algorithm (which I believe it was modified a bit to get into games faster.

So you gave up on WoT and came here with the same attitude... You're new so take advice from experienced players - you can dodge torps if you spot the planes coming on time and react to them. If you've figured out they are coming for you when they are already dropping torps you're doing it wrong.

Beta is all about testing stuff, the number of players we've got now allows devs to see how exactly the matchmaker works under full strain. So instead of complaining it's better to give constructive feedback based on the games you had in order for the devs to improve it.

It doesn't work that way, just because you've dropped a large chuck of money into WoT doesn't mean you're getting in alpha/beta test. Depending on the stage there is some dose of seriousness, finding bugs and glitches, reporting them and testing overall. But again nobody stopped you from applying for either alpha or beta in time.

Most people I saw streaming today were shooting HE 99% of the time as it's their default shell so they were doing very low damage. There's some good tips here but remember one thing: try it yourself. In 2-3 battles you can experiment and see exactly what type of shell should you be shooting against which ship in the one you are currently using. There's randoms, there's bots, see what gets you best results and use that.

People think the bigger the better, when I was a WoT noob I firmly believed heavy tanks were superior to anything until I got nailed by a 13 90. But yeah, most of them seem like easy kills from what I've seen.
