  1. Hell Everyone, This is the first time I’m posting on this forum and the reason I’m doing this now is because I would like to share an idea of mine about “how clan wars should be”. I would like to warn you that this is going to be extensive post so please bear with me and excuse my poor English in advance. When WG first introduced clan war configuration here in WoWs I was kinda disappointed and the reason for that was because I was expecting something more like how clan war system is working in World of Tanks which I used to play before WoWs. For me CW is just a rename of what team battles used to be so nothing actually new here. Also there are limitations of how many BB , Cruisers , DD a team can use not to mention of course the absence of CV. Current configuration of 7 vs 7 along with limitations as mentioned above makes clan wars kind of predictable with not a lot of versatile when it comes to ship selection or even tactics. Also in my opinion teams select to play more conservative and rightfully so since loosing a ship out of total 7 has more of a negative impact as it would if we had 12 vs 12 ships fighting. For reasons as explained above I came with an idea or suggestions, call it whatever you like, of how clan wars should eventually be and how WG could actually combine all three game titles (WOT , WOWs, WOWp) in one united clan war system. First of let me proceed with a brief introduction of how clan wars work in WOT for people who might not ever played it. There is global map divided in small areas which clans fight with one another in a elimination stage system in order to occupy an area of their choosing. After occupying the area they can expand and fight with owners of neighbor areas in order to expand their territories and gains that come with them (in WOT case is gold which differs in each area or continent). The battles are 15 vs 15 with no limitation when it comes to class of tanks they can use or nation. When a player looses its tank in a battle then this tank becomes unavailable for some days according to the class of the tank with heavy tank having the largest penalty lets say. That forces people to use different kind of tanks and therefor tactics adjusted to them. Also there are areas where clans can fight either with tier 10 , 8 or 6 providing clans that do not have experienced players or the amount of tier 10 to participate with smaller tiers and gain experience, rewards. So based on what WG has already introduced in one of her game titles my suggestion is to be a common global map for all 3 games. Everything will be divided in small areas including the sea. Clans in WoWs will be able to fight on 12 vs 12 configuration with no limitation of what class of ships can be used except CV. Of course, this means that new CV gameplay will have to be introduced. Also loosing a ship means that this ship will be unavailable for some days. This will force field commanders to either use other people who have a particular type of ship available (this will led to everyone almost playing everything) or use different ships with different tactics adjusted to them, more diversity. Clans will then be able to expand their territories and build lets say their empire. This will also force clan to form alliances with each other in order to be able to defend against other clans or alliances. Rewards can be the same as they are now since the gold system in WOT led to a situation where more experienced clans were able to farm gold aka doubloons. Also areas can be divided in 3 larger areas where clan may have the chance to participate with smaller tier like 8 and 6 giving the possibility to almost everyone even new players to participate. Of course something I forgot to mention about that, a clan that participates and own a territory in tier 10 area cannot participate on clans war battles in tier 8 or 6 areas. Of course I’m suggesting a similar system to WoWp. Now how can all 3 games connect to each other on a same clan war system? I will try to explain with an example. A clan in WoWs owns a sea territory close to land. By owning this territory is having a function that might help a clan playing clan war on WOT for the territory on land next to it. This function can be a salvo lets say like a shotgun artillery shot that will not inflict massive dmg but some minor for the clan in WOT that uses it. In order for that clan in WOT to be able to have that function from the owner of sea territory in WOWs there will have to an agreement short of between the 2 (that might led to alliances between clans in different games). As for the clan in WOWs it can use a function available from WOT which might be a bastion (not the way introduce them in first place) which will provide some minor help to their clan wars. Same in WoWp where it can be a function like reconnaissance of enemy ships or tanks for small amount of time. In my believe this will led people from clans in all 3 games (I know WoWp doesn’t have clan was yet) to communicate, form alliances in order to be able to have functions that each area owner can provide to a clan from another game. Of course a clan may choose to provide the function it has to a challenger as well. Like a function trade between clans in different games that may benefit from it. Of course all above are not very polished but my interest here is to get the basic idea which for me its not impossible to happen even technically wise since the combination is on web browsing global map level. Of course maybe all of these are just [edited] but either way I would like to read your comments and thoughts or even additions that you might have. Once again sorry for the length of the post I did warn you.

    Well you are right at some point but i think the reason so many people are not participating in clan wars is because of tier 10. I think by having clan wars at tier 8 and 6 in 7 vs 7 just keeping 12 vs 12 for tier 10 only will allow more people to participate. Also even on high rate clans as long as people gain the flag reward they stop playing or they are not playing that much. But on global map having to defend your territory almost all the time will motivate players more because not only they will have something to gain but also to lose if they don't participate.

    Hello, No new maps needed. The combination is on web global map. The only thing need to be implemented is function skills for each game. I'm not talking for all 3 games combined in one large battle in one map :)
