Because clan battles aren't meant to be played with random teammates. And also, it'll contribute to steel inflation. Precisely. It kind of defeats the point of clan battles. -
I don't. You on the other hand think that ships whose construction never even began are more real than ships that were partially built.

Turning clan battles into random battles for the purposes of inclusivity is a no from me. -
Most ships in this game were not economically viable, so I don't know wgy you're focusing on soviets only. It's completely irrelevant for wows. Not always. No it doesn't. But also, alaska is overpowered, so by this logic, the US was capable of building good battlecruisers (or whatever they called them). I don't know how you made any of those connections. And all of this is relevant how exactly? Real life effectiveness (or economy) is completely irrelevant to whether or not they had the technical knowhow to do it. And even more so when you include the fact that it's a game.

Um...what? You're the one that wants that. Well, personally I don't mind this since clans that use your method will almost always lose anyway, so that's free steel for me. It doesn't make it a good feature though. Heck, even the one I came up with in about 30 seconds seems to have more merit. -

That's irrelevant You can't really do that with mercenaries without voice chat either. What I meant was: You don't want some random player with some random ship joining your clan battles. Imagine starting a CB match with 4 players and you get 3 random DDs that you don't want on your team. Okay maybe a squall clan might not mind it, but then again, they'd never leave squall either way. It would be nice if wg made it easier for clans to find mercenaries and vice versa (maybe via an ingame window where you can browse available players that can also set a description of themselves), but random pick probably wouldn't work. -

If it was made far more obvious that spotting is actually worth it (like with the same type of message that wot players get) as well as being properly rewarded, it would probably encourage players to do it.
