I can't even imagine how bad the two BB players must've been if a single hipper was that much of a threat to them. That's impressive. Confirmation bias is often dispelled once a replay is provided. I don't want to sound offensive, but there's a big chance that they were better. Even if they were average overall. It's a pretty common saying around here, but it's always easier to blame everything but yourself. Every month there's someone complaining about the game being rigged against them, but when they post a replay (and it's very rare that they do), the replay almost always shows them playing worse than a bot, so for this case here, I'm gonna go with the tried and tested method of calling BS on your claims of a rigged game aswell. On the other hand, if you want to get honest opinions on your matches and want to get some tips regarding them, feel free to post one here in a non condescending way and you'll get genuine and helpful responses.

And did you contribute to your team too? Or were you just deadweight and possibly one of the seven main reasons for the loss? Care to grace us with a replay so that we may assess the situation?

I think this is one of my greatest loss streaks that I've recorded a few years back. And it's even missing a few days after that.

Did you know that tier 1 ships can bounce yamato shells too? Learn how not to be broadside then. It's not that difficult to angle. Well....except in cases when they devstrike DDs or do 10k per salvo on battleships. The "DD is so perfectly angled and RNG hates you so much that it deflects every single shell" won't happen in 95% of situations either, so what's your point? The only ships italian cruisers struggle with penetrating are heavily armored ships with no superstructure (when they're angled). Stuff like petropavlovsk, or some japanese and soviet battleships.

Italian cruisers (at least at tiers 8 and onwards) can practically oneshoot or at least cripple DDs of the same tier in a single salvo, so I have no idea what the "no overmatch" has to do with it since it doesn't really need it anyway. Italian cruiser experience improves with the number of the guns that they carry. I will agree that tiers 7 and below are bad and could use some love on their guns, but with tier 8 they start getting quite good and only get better above it (though brindisi does require a bit more skill in dodging than others). The tree is neither unpopular nor bad overall. For what purpose? Tiers 8 and 10 are already tanky enough as it is, and while brindisi certainly doesn't feel like it, it's guns make it more than enough of a threat for it to need any buffs. In fact, venezia had to be nerfed a few times after launch because of how OP she was. More like only in COOP. You play nothing but COOP so I can understand your misguided belief that italian ships are bad (since in coop the ships that rule are either very fast ships or ships with very good reloads), but you're trying to balance ships whose primary gamemode is randoms by balancing them for coop. Nothing good can come of that. That is painfully obvious when you go as far as to claim that duca d'aosta is a very good and popular ship when in randoms you barely ever see it being played.

There are other options too, let's not cater only to bad players.

I'm gonna be honest. I don't think radars have been a problem for like 2 years now and CVs, while definitely a threat, can usually be played around (as long as they don't carry any HE dive bombers). All you have to do is time you being spotted by planes with you being in a good position. I do find subs very annoying though even in a DD.

And these cheats make those players far more dangerous how exactly? Trash players will at best get almost below average, average players very slightly above average while good players are already better than people using cheats.

That's not what he's talking about. You really are a conspiracy theorist. Also didn't you say you were gonna leave? What's up with that? It's not impossible that it was a sync drop, but like you said, these things are very rare. And it's even more uncommon to pull it off successfully multiple times due to the things you've mentioned. I have actually met the same division from my clan multiple times in the same day once (3 times if memory serves) without sync dropping, though not in a row. And since we won every time and one of the players in the other div was a streamer, he was kind enough to accuse us of stream sniping. I still even have the discord logs of him acusing us.

But they are midway's strongest weapon against DDs. I would've assumed that someone that hates DDs would've liked them. Especially in comparisson with bombers of other lines which can struggle with it.
