Thing is, I don't particularly care about others in this regard since ranked is nothing but randoms with extra steps as it is. I'd have fun and that's what matters to me. If ranked worked well, I wouldn't have the need for it.

It's also one of the most vulnerable tier 8 BBs to HE spam. Just like most german BBs. It certainly wouldn't be my first pick beyond squall.

The only acceptable reason for not doing 10k is if you play a CV and know absolutely nothing about them. Otherwise 10k isn't even a lot for tier 1.

Yes, yes I do. The only difference is that there are (though very radical) ways of making CVs fit the game, even if that's unlikely to ever happen.

Even if subs were perfectly balanced (they're not btw) it would make no difference. If fighting against them causes nothing but frustration, then they're not fit for the game.
