TBH make the UI faster is one of the best things they could do. The community has been asking them to do it for a while now

The thing is, many new players just want that yamato or montana or whatever and will almost religiously only play that line till they get it. They won't spread to other lines and actually learn stuff. I know that feeling. I've managed to slowly drag 3 of my friends into wows by basically forcing them to play till they got a good ship (till one got a bismarck, the other NC and another mogami) and after that they started loving the game and became unicums lel. It's fine if WG either gives new players a decent amount of economic flags so they can get to say tier 6 relatively quickly (or only increases the XP required for high tiers and leaves lower tiers alone), that way they can get some decent and famous ships quickly, however they shouldn't really be pampered all the way into high tiers. This issue of this thread though isn't about WG giving people the option to pay for stuff. Sure it's a problem, but it's a completely separate issue. The issue here is that flags/camos are simply too easy to get relative to the research price of ships. They either need to be diled down or the XP needed for ships increased. I've yet to meet someone who actually bought flags and camos (because they really needed them) as opposed to just getting them by grinding. And even then, people probably only buy them once, unless they're lifetime potatoes (not including the containers obviously).

Like he said. Newbs now only need 5 times less xp to get to tier 10 now than they used to. The number was probably pulled out of his arse but the point stands. Players with <500 battles should not have tier 10 ships.

He has a point yes. There is a massive xp and free xp inflation happening in WoWs. WG partially countered the free xp problem by increasing the price of freemium ships, but they've done nothing with the regular xp. Essentially they need to increase the research cost of ships by a significant margin. Well...it's nice that WG is increasing the prices to keep up with the inflation, but they've jumped too far ahead. They should've increased it gradually to 1.5 and 1.75m.

This isn't a bad event for new players, not so much for f2p players. Sure, newbs can probably use a free perma camo since they don't have many normal ones yet, and a free tier 5 premium sounds good as well, but for anyone that has at least a few tier 10 ships it's completely worthless. What do we get? A tier 5 we'll never play, a perma camo we don't need because WG keeps giving out tier 8 camos all the time (I have like 5 universal tier 8 camos in storage waiting to be put on tier 8 ships) and a rotten carrot showing us what we could get if we spent a lot of money. I mean, it's fine if they meant this as an event for new players but c'mon...how about some normal pricing then?

So, a straight up battleship buff then? also....What? You do know that a single carrier is almost incapable of killing most ships on its own right? It needs support from its allies. The only thing it can reliably kill by itself are DDs, camping cruisers (non camping cruisers too, but only if it wants to waste 10 minutes and not be helpful to the team) and players who're useless. (not including tier 4 CVs ofcourse) Again a straight up BB buff. There needs to be a semblance of balance you know. Please..just stop thinking about ideas that will further nerf DDs. I mean, if a minotaur managed to get within 3 km of a yamato, he kind of deserves the kill. No.

It probably won't. I think that's there just so you can buy the few coal ships on PTS for missions

Like I said in the thread with the similar theme once before: This is my first CB season and I can say that it was really fun to play. And as far as I'm aware, nobody in the clan really expressely hated it. (at least nobody complained about it)

Yeah. You can only use them on the same major patch. Kind of makes sense if you think about it though

Holy crap, now this is some next level of butthurt. In all honesty I'd want nothing more than historical objects to carry real historical symbols (yes that includes your favorite crosswheel), because that's how they existed. Not that that's ever going to happen since apparently they're "hateful symbols". Being butthurt and trying to hide the past won't change it and will only allow us to repeat it. It happened, get over it. As for this particular flag....you're either baiting or are just really ignorant of history, as was pointed out several times by the posters before me.
