It does when it comes to personal opinion, which is what this thread is about. It's about tech trees you hate and can't do well in. I considered tiers 6 and 7 of the italians to be an absolute garbage. I really like 9 and 10 tho.

That really depends on the line tbh. You'll have to be a bit more specific. Japanese tend to start early at about tier 5 for all surface ships, germans at about tier 7, US cruisers at about 6 I'd say and BBs at tier 8 and so on.

It's more than you'd get for a normal tier 6 ship so...it's decent actually.

Why not try some randoms though? Do you find them too stressful? Now that I've checked your random stats you seem fairly decent in them and as far as I'm aware, even at the relatively low tiers you get better rewards than coop.

I never checked your stats so I didn't shame you, nor did I know you're a coop main. Randoms is the standard gamemode in wows, which is why I tend to structure my arguments around it, but even then, my stats had nothing to do with anything here (not unless the player was <45%).

It's really not that big of a deal. It costs 200k credits and a bit of elite xp (or a few games worth) to move the captain. And you don't need to respec it if you plan to use it on other heavy cruisers. But they can't. Sure, they can be moved there for free, but I'd never use a DD captain on it. You have a dedicated CA captain on a heavy cruiser. How is moving that captain and then still using it on the moskva a problem? Use the captain to grind up to petropavlovsk (that way you won't waste anything) because you'll need to move a captain there anyway. Unless you plan to play with 1 pointers. They were for the most part. If you wanted to move the captain you had to pay for it. Same as here. What's different you ask? Cleveland wasn't made a freemium, that's what's different. If 200k credits and a few games worth of xp are considered valuable, then the player has rushed up to tier 10 way to fast.

That's true if you want to move any captain to a silver ship of a different type. It has been this way since the beginning of time. What I don't understand is, what's different this time to warrant a free captain move.

No, what I meant was that in order to use a heavy cruiser captain on a light cruiser, you'd have to respec it. And that's true for any nation, just like it is if you want to use moskva's captain on nevsky for example. Not so much if you want to use it on another heavy cruiser, because then it doesn't require a respec. For some reason people seem to think that nevsky is there to replace the moskva, when in reality it's petro that's meant to do that. It's just so happens that most of the old line stayed on the CL side.
