Just avoid them and do some chip damage to them when they sail broadside. They gotta push at some point if they want to be useful and when they do kill it with your team.

Uu for CV are a relic. WG + User interface = crap.

You can show your broadside when your opponent is still reloading his guns.

How does angling translate in bow tanking? What about just angling and after deflecting the incoming AP shells you turn to shoot all your guns?

Why so much care about the test server? In the picture you have added they specifically say that they added the ship for testing purposes...

@FukushuNL From my point of view you make teams lose, so I find it interesting what your point of view is? You are Dutch as well I guess, so I suspect you can handle the direct approach... Like what is your approach on taking torpedo hits or taking massive damage?

They are somewhat OP imo, but thanks to the CV rework they haven't nerfed the Daring yet... Very fun and capable ship line.

Just play RN DDs... They have enough smokes to smoke you almost through an entire match when needed.

I think a high pr requires mostly a lot of focus to the game. I notice that the more serious I play the higher my pr is, and the more I browse YouTube the lower it is. It doesn’t really matter winrate wise. Being on top of the scoreboard is even less accurate, op...

I cannot tell yet, since I have barely played SN gun DDs with heal in the current meta. Been playing the Daring a lot lately and I kinda figured out that when I have to play against a CV that I need my smokes. I have 7 charges of smoke and it is only when there is a CV in the game that I run out of those charges. The plus side is that spotting isn't really necessary, but the downside is that I have to sit still, even when I am just a few km away from an enemy cap... I guess it is fortunate for WG that they will release the MN gun boat line in a meta where the CVs are on a low population point again. They have some really good guns and very decent torpedoes, but when the difference between good and garbage is a CV it kinda sucks imo... Anyhow I will try playing the Le Terrible again now there are less CVs around. She's a really fun ship to play :D

Well done, your are way better than me! I am curious how you will perform with the smokeless French DDs, when the CV population is on the rise again. I tried a couple of times in my Le Terrible, but lost common sense after a few rocket strikes.

So how can we help you to become better at this game, OP? Did you already watch the "How it Works" serie by WarGaming on YouTube? Angling, overmatch, penetrations, ammunitions, aiming, setup, etcetera?

I heard rumors that the CV rework team was responsible for the schedule, so you can't really blame them.

You kinda forget the biggest pro of the Daring over the Minotaur and that is HE. Sure, the weakness of the Daring are carriers, but as long as they don't focus you, you are fine. You can basically shred anything... Where the Minotaur is kinda weak against smart players in general, the Daring is only weak against smart CV players. The short smoke screen is superb as well. :3 EDIT: Minotaur can also outspot DDs if you mount radar, which is a pretty nice pro as well. So far I have only been playing radar Minotaur, which is nice for often an early advantage. Just gib me Friesland.

Play at a distance of 16-21km by doing some chip damage, until you can get a bit closer. Tier 8 is a pretty nice tier, farming neat exp against tier 10s

Technically speaking, only KM and US CA’s can bow tank 380mm.

My idea was to release tier 8 premiums, so that we avoid a shitstorm of hate topics like we had about the Stalingrad. On the other hand I can understand tier 10s will bring in more money...
