    Torpedomisfire?

Okay. That's it. First of all, learn to play dweeb. Or quit. Or learn how to use the search function on the Forum. Whichever come first. Second of all, most DD players in this game have a torpedo hit rate of 10-12%, which means that 88-99% of all torpedoes are evaded or they just miss. And that means that DD players have to work hard to get a meager 10% chance to hit. And you want to further reduce that chance and turn DD game play into some frustrating "will it - won't it" BS. Please get a fu*king clue and stop straight lining it like a tard.

    Suggestion: Torpedo nets

Not to mention the fact that even at anchor the efficiency of torpedo nets is debatable.

    BBs need buffs.

That has nothing to do with the ship itself but can actually be linked with this silly idea that most people who play WG's games got, namely that as you go into higher tiers you get bigger and better stuff that's gonna totally allow you to pwn peeps regardless of your skill level. The truth is, if you can't hack it with the Wyoming you won't do any better with the Iowa.

I literally pissed myself laughing after seeing this... Now I need to change my underwear at work...so thanks a bunch.

What is good about american destroyers?

Honestly, I think you are confusing hard work with fun. You say that the fact that you can and sometimes have to do a lot of stuff with a DD is hard work? I say it's fun. You say that the Cleveland is better because you just have to worry about AA, shooting at stuff, and not much else? I say that makes the Cleveland boring as fu*k. DDs as a class will give you the biggest freedom of operation and a slew of other opportunities that other ships don't have because they lack speed/agility/torps/stealth/smoke, but they also demand a great deal of situation awareness in return. If that is too tiring for you, perhaps you should stick to the cruisers.
  6. This. All day long and twice on Sunday. Although, a few extra port slots would be nice.
  7. Yes, I like to troll people. And yes, sometimes I open threads to critique or ask questions. And yes, sometimes I'm dismissive, douchy, and even borderline childish. However, you seem to be at a grandmaster level of privileged spoiled doucheturd that I can only dream to master one day. I mean just look at the way you lecture people about not reading internal memos in their own respective company, the same company that you've never worked for, and the internal composition of which is completely unknown to you. Yet, whether through extrasensory perception or that tingling feeling in your gut, you just know that someone's not doing their job. And you're not afraid to let these lazy and inept individuals know exactly what you think of them. You are truly one remarkable little a*s wipe. Please teach my thy mysterious way master!
  8. Damn. And I thought I was the biggest a-hole on these Forums. I bow to you Naskoni, for your douchbaggery makes me feel unworthy to lick thy toe jam... One thing I have to mention though. And that is the fact that specials are actually gifts given to us by Wargaming so that we could move outside the standard game frame and get x2 for wins, cheaper equipment, premium time etc... Keep in my mind that Wargaming is not obligated to give us these specials and that it basically all boils down to their good will. As for the "OMG! That server gets that and we don't?!" crowd, I recommend growing up, sometime this week if possible.

    BBs need buffs.

Wyoming has a better average WR than the New York or the Kongo and is generally regarded as a very good BB.
  10. AnuSuaraj

    Catch 22

Seriously? Sell those low tiers that you "like, put the commanders in reserve, grind the higher tiers, and when WG does decide to give us a half-of special, you can re-buy your favorites and restore their respective commanders.
  11. So what you're saying is that when I reach the higher tiers with IJN DDs I actually have to take certain risks to the well being of my ship in order to get some damage done, unlike in the current lower tier IJN DDs with which I can just sink ships and troll people with utter impunity while never getting spotted? I do wonder why the devs haven't yet decided to implement a Minkaze-like DD on tiers 8-10. About 4 km spotting range and 75 knot torps would be very nice indeed. It's not like things like game balance are important or anything.

    Whaaaaaat?! Explain please...

What is good about american destroyers?

What's good about American destroyers? Short answer: EVERYTHING! A lot of people prefer easy mode Japanese DDs because you can spam torps from safety and because you have two overpowered DDs on tier 4 and 5. But personally, I think US DDs is where we separate the men from the boys. With US DDs you can't just hide out for the whole battle, pick your targets in a relaxed fashion, and not expose yourself to harm. No sir. With US DDs you have to fight actively, you always have to think about things like cover and escape routes, and you have to be a fu*king mastermind to successfully deploy torpedoes in someone's face. You have to ambush people behind islands, you have to position yourself on the edge of your camo buffer, to the front of your target and make them steer right into your short range torps. You have to track down isolated enemy battleships/CVs so that you can joust the motherfu*kers from point blank range and then fog the hell out of there like you're the friggin' Loch Ness monster of WoWS. I see IJN DD players commenting how they killed some "stupid a*s US DD that one time". I have two word for you people: "bit*ch" and "please" Yeah, try doing something to my five cannoned, bane of the Minekaze, stout and sprout Farragut. It's stock right now and it still owns every IJN DD in existence. Why? Because you can maneuver and dodge shots/torpedoes whilst shooting up the enemy. IJN DDs can't do that. Their guns are not bad but the turn rate forces them to level out every time they want to shoot. With US DDs you don't have to ever do that. You can accurately fire while your little DD is doing tight figure eights at the center of the map. TL DR. US DDs are for pros, IJN DDs are for noob statpadders. End of story.
  14. Don't even think about making the legendary Bismarck some pricey premium and make it suffer the same humiliation as the Lowe... Firstly, let me clarify. I am an Alpha tester and have played all the lines/ships by now, and have consequently decided to stick with destroyers. I found the agility, the freedom of movement, and the sweet anticipation of torpedo hits/kills to be the most fun I can have in this game. With that said, I find it worrying that no one from WG or the devs has responded to the growing number of questions in terms which of the two German BBs currently being tested (Tirptiz and Bismarck) will be the premium. Logically, it should be the Tirptiz since the Bismarck is an instantly recognizable icon that can potentially attract thousand of new players to the game, the same way the Tiger tree has attracted thousands to WoT. Financially it would also make more sense for the Bismarck to be the regular as many will expend loads of gold and free XP to grind up to the legendary Bismarck, roughly the same amount that could be made by prostituting the Bismarck in the Premium shop. Honestly, WG would be shooting themselves in the foot if they opened their new naval game with the following: WG: "Come play our new naval game..." Potential customer: "Can I play the legendary Bismarck?" WG: "Sure you can. That'll be ten bucks..." With that said, this is not my main complaint. Remember, I will not be playing the Bismarck whether it's a premium or not. It is the principle of the thing that bothers me, namely the shameless, cold-hearted, illogical behavior that would ultimately only harm the game in the long run. This move would mean that the developers of this game are actually quite narrowminded and stupid, and I have no desire to play games developed by such nincompoops. I would really like for one of the devs/community reps to weigh in and clear up this issue, because if the decision really is to make Bismarck a premium, I for one would like to know now so that I can stop wasting time on this game, uninstall, and start unrecommending WoWS to everyone I know. One thing I don't tolerate in life is shamelessness. Gracias.
  15. AnuSuaraj

    Don't even think about it...

Are you retarded or something? I am a paying customer of Wargaming for three years now. My point was that making Bismarck the premium would be senseless, shameless, and would only hurt the game's profit margin in the long run. Please read my posts prior to posting gibberish.
  16. AnuSuaraj

    BBs need buffs.

BB's short range dispersion is getting buffed according to the devs on the RU Forums. So now you should be able to kill insolent DDs that go close quarters much better, assuming you can aim, of course. Enjoy.
  17. Ectar, on 30 July 2015 - 12:31 PM, said: Actually no. I don't mind people wanting to tell friends they're not playing anymore. Doing a big drama post which is nothing more than a complain about various topics which already have their own threads however, that serves no purpose for anyone. We don't censor things we don't want to read, I especially won't stand for moderation like that. Posts are hidden if they break our rules - posts are moved to the correct forums if they're in the wrong place. A player saying he's quitting is not a topic for the general discussion forum. For the players who don't like the game for whatever reason, they're free to leave whenever they want. - Hanging around on the forums of a game you claim to not like however is rather strange behaviour. Personally if I dislike something or have quit it, I avoid it. Sometimes seeing the potential in a game and then watching it all go to waste because of a narrowminded attitude of the people developing the said game makes one feel like he has to vent frustration prior to departing. While I disagree on quiting a game that is still technically in Beta, or going full drama queen in a Forum, a few thing need to be mentioned here. And that is the fact that the following significant issues with the game: 1. Matchmaking that completely breaks at random intervals 2. Overstated DPM and HE fire effects of certain US cruisers ...are things that are a severe hindrance to players such as myself so I can only imagine the effect they have on newer players. The OP is right when he says that these are the kind of issues that the developers should focus their attention on, instead of just pumping out premium ships and hoping for the best.. BlackSamBellamy, on 30 July 2015 - 01:14 PM, said: I won`t miss him. to the one I won`t miss: it`s still beta and balance will be found if you mean that BBs should be the most powerful units: no, its a scissors-paper-stone issue in this game it`s also necessary to act in groups: if you are a stone and run into paper, its nice to have scissors with you. I've also said that this rock-paper-scissors thing will be the tombstone of this game if the developers keep insisting on it and putting it up in trailers for the game. I kill all types of ships in my DDs so obviously this isn't a rock-paper-sccisors game. If it was, I wouldn't be playing it. If my class of ship could only hurt one other specific class of ship, then the game would suck donkey ballz and I'd be the first to quit. Sry for the double post.

    Am I the only one?

Yes, you are the only one. You are the only person in the world that actually loses games in a Minekaze...
  19. AnuSuaraj

    Don't even think about it...

No, it isn't logical. They didn't make the Tiger I. a premium, did they? They didn't make the Spitfire a premium, did they? Players want to play a themed game such as WoT/WoWS to get the iconic stuff, without someone forcing them to cough out cash. Having done more research on the Forum, I am pretty sure the Bismarck will be the regular.

    I'm done with DDs...

I did not free XP the torps, and they proved to be quite okay.

Repair costs are a variable that can be modified at any given time. I want a clear cut answer from someone who is employed by WG.

    German ship stats

Has anyone gotten a definitive answer on the Bismarck/Tirptiz premium issue? I just want to know whether or not to uninstall the game right now along with opening several rage threads entitled: "You greedy disgusting fu*ks..." Hmm?
  23. AnuSuaraj

Far too many draws and countless minutes wasted!

My 2 cents... Since I see community reps answering with: "Well you see sonny, in real life naval warfare..." I'm pretty sure that in real naval warfare destroyers could not launch six torpedoes every thirty seconds and stay un-spotted at 5 km. So, the bottom line is that we are not playing naval warfare but rather a mere arcade MMO representation thereof. With that in mind, I have to say that draws are total BS. Yesterday, my pal Jimmeh and I had 3 draws in a row, all on those "Two Brothers" or whatever it's called map, and all in standard battle mode. Our teams didn't make that many mistakes in those matches, the simple truth is that it just took a lot of time for us to dispose of the enemy since the map is generally large and sports ample cover. Basically, we just got regularly screwed over by one DD/Carrier hiding at the other side of the map. Another simple truth is that in WoWS the smarter team always groups up but can only mop the floor with most of the enemy team though, since there are always a few 'gems' on the enemy team that had spread out all over god's creation. Yesterday, I also forced a draw with my Mutsuki after my whole team was dead by simply spamming torps at my own cap and staying out of view range. The enemy team had five ships left and were actively capping my base. Honestly, in those cases the win should go to the superior team, regardless of what "real naval warfare" was about.

A bit worried about the population

I call BS on this whole post. WoT does have the same "don't go there and do that" rules for each class. You don't rush a light tank with your slow, turret less TD, do you? Furthermore, your arguments are full of logic holes, like for example, if those "damn CVs" really don't go for BBs but attack CAs and DDs instead, as you say in point three, then why is the fact that CAs don't cover BBs which you mention in point one such a big deal? Also, I don't know where you got the idea that BBs should "lead the way..." Either stop ranting or get better arguments, seriously.

    I'm done with DDs...

I would rather die than play the "if you can't aim play this class we get machine gun cannons durrrrh" cruisers.
