Gun size vs damage output misconception (SOLVED)

The post of ezymodo perfectly explains the problem that you have submitted. So, I do not see any reason why you should continue to complain about the gap between the damage of HE and the caliber of the guns that shoot them. If you have not already figured out, this is all part of the game balance.Try it, because it seems easy for you, to create a game balance that can adapt perfectly to every request of community. -
What we know about Ships: Updated 05/04/2017

I am not so sure that Ferdinado Cassone is suitable for tier X, because we don't know so much about it. -
What you are looking at is a 1910's attempt to produce a Battlecruiser with a very unique armor system. To save on weight and allow such mad speeds they would employ two concepts. First, heavily sloped armor that was thin (152mm) near the main deck, and thick (456mm) near the water line. The idea hear is the shell detonates on the armor, then the slope nullifies the following explosion by forcing it down (in this case to the water). This was only over vital spaces though, non-vital parts would have most likely been un-armored. Sort of all-or-nothing. Heavy sloped armor became much more regular in tanks. The second is the two large budges you see in the second picture. These are essentially gas filled tanks with a hard backing that would allow the torpedo to penetrate into them, then detonate it before reaching the machinery/magazine. The explosion of the torpedo would then be forced upwards though vents around the funnels. In theory the idea could have prevented damage to the ship, but there are numerous flaws.
