Escorting a CV in the first part of the game is excually a good strategy if you are in an american cruiser! You get nice bonus xp for shooting down aircraft, don't be fooled: you do get xp for shooting down planes! Just not a whole lot. Your carrier stays alive and increases your chance to win the game a lot, which means more chance of getting 50% extra xp for winning. You get a nice startup period to evaluate the strategic situation and go where you are most needed. Remember spending 5 min escorting doesn't mean you lost the oppurtunity to get xp!

I had to opposite effect: i have been playing so much warships these last months i keep forgetting to push the W when playing the occasional WOTgame

It it a difficult ship to excell in, use it as a support cruiser, always keep a friendly between you and the enemy, try using your anti airpower to shield your team, if you use your AA skill when your longrange guns open on enemy aircraft and have the tier 4 captainskill you will completly wreck whole scuadrons of planes At long range shoot at battleships Try getting close to Destroyers when there are not to many enemies suporting him and sink them with two salvos (that's within 6 seconds!) Try to keep your nose pointed at enemies who are shooting at you Follow these tips and you will find yourselve at the top xp position most of the time. GL!

well title says it all I am allmost willing to log out when I get that stupid map. The map is a RNG split team map that ends in capping, you take your chances going left or right and see what happens there. There is no way you can infuence what happens during the rest of the game. imho you guys at WG should fire the guy who designed the map or at least give him a proper beating

You play mostly with carriers so for you the because teams split the map is better, anyway I am not gonna remove my account because I hate 1 map and if you didn't mean me personally I think solo players can have great fun playing this game as well even if they dislike a map or two

well it is good to hear that there are players (perhaps even lot) who like the two brothers map, therefore I think it should not be removed but I still hate it immensely! btw: i rly like hotspot ;)

i have such a good idea for the developers: Make a consumable that allow tanks to be placed on the decks of cruisers to give some extra fire power! That would be awsome wouldn't it? Cut the crap devs: REMOVE FIGHTER PLANES as a consumable on cruisers. What a stupid idea, gamewise it sucks and historacly it is utter bullocks Plz be resonable and scrap them

Yeah tell'm biatch; great post Anusuaraj I almost totally agree! The one thing is: i realy like the BB repair skill on BBs aswell as T9 and 10 CCs and think it is good for gameplay

1: you got me +1 2: i am not talking about planes in general, just fighter planes. Planes on ships where used in a scout / spotting role not as fighters. Why not as fighters? One plane is nothing if you get attacked by more than one enemy plane and perhaps more important: the planes where launched with a catapult and when they returned to their ship they landed on the water and were than hoaled onboard by a crane to be refitted. How do you think a fighter with a couple of huge floaters beneath the fussalage would perform in a dogfight?

Give it a few months and part of the problem will solve itself Right now the carriers are top tier most of the time That is because they are played by the top grinders, i hardly see other top tier ships and allmost every game with carriers they are top tier. There can be only 2 carriers on each side and because the high tier carriers get into the games as top tier the next carriers who are a tiet lower can not go there and get pushed down into the next game in which they are top tier as well and so on down the line When there are more normal top tier ships this problem should fix itself

They could make a spotterplane that increases aa range or dam from the cruiser if they absolutly need to do something to counter carriers

same here, I killed mutsuki in my nagato with my secondary guns I did all the damage alone, 100% and no big guns result: no medal. also on asia server a guy with a carrier killed a DD with secondaries from 100 to 0 and also no medal did anyone receive the close quarter expert medal yet?

I hear constant compaining about warspite beeing a bad ship due to her range of her guns, stop it! She is a very good ship with only ONE mayor drawback: her turret rotating speed. Everyone who has driven the Nagato knows that max range is useless, I found that Nagato can't hit the holes in the end of her gunbarrels if fireing at more than 14km, and allthough captains complain about it (as they should) , she does not get nearly as much sh** trown at her than the Warspite. Alltough sometimes it can be a good strategy to be far away and hurling your shells at the enemy, you should get stuck in the fight with battleships. At medium ranges they rule the sea! They can take an enourmous pounding and dish out lots of pain. Oh man how I love the Fuso and her many guns, I think I actually prefer the Warspite over her, bye bye torpedo threat bye bye multiple citadel hits.

It does have a real drawback I agree but a good captain can work around that, the ship is certainly not noob friendly. About the price: everybody is free to compain about that, I think it is worth it but I can't look into other peoples wallets

They will find lots of t10 carriers somewhere in a closet on some piece of paper, they did after all find the plans to e50 and e50m / e75 and e100 / t110e3 4 and 5 etc etc

it works both ways! I have won a lot of 30% battles because the enemy thought they had already won. If you think those stats have a big impact on your game you are not playing your best and your winchance will drop! And besides that a 33% winchance is actually quiet good, it means that you have a decent chance to win with your team, if it was the lottery everybody would cheer out like mad if you heard you had 33%
