Victory in ranked - 3 DD's 1 CA 3 BB's per side - our BB's thank myself and the other Fubu for carrying them through to victory :) A six nil victory (have the replay but not the victory screenies). -

The way I look at the skils is as follows:- 1) The skills represent both small differences between the ships as built - "oh, why didn't we think of that earlier, lets swap 'x' out for 'y' as that works better in such and such circumstances" 2) history shows that different commanders can get different performance out of the same command (whether equipment or 'men'). eg EM could be down to having a superb engineering officer who maintains the traversing gear better than most, hence close to design spec or even better, but those changes have no yet migrated back to 'central' design/maintenance. Extra plane per squad would be 'stuff standard operating procedures this is how 'I' want to do things' - so mavericks being effective etc. Edit - as for 19 skill cap - it's probably better to reduce the impact of seal clubbing by allowing max'd captains to pass on their experience to other captains than let 20/21 etc point captains loose against newbies. People seal club, no escaping from that, so lets try and prevent those ships from being totally overpowering against the newcomers to the game. -
On the in port ship filters - can we have one that selects 'suitable ships for current missions/events'?

For me - the only point I will add to those above are that the gunnery arcs are not the best, I do not mean the shell arcs here but the available firing angles for a full broadside. "A Arcs" in parlance.

Personally I need/want lots of special upgrades and have no idea why people wanted the probability of those reduced - other than those people who have already received more than they can use. (And yes I know that most of us wish for free premium ships in the super containers).

Personally, I think that they could have both KGV and 'Monarch' (silly name - originated/descended from a captured French ship) at T8 just a different choice of ship to progress through to T9 via, or get both. KGV will have to suffer some form of nerf to squeeze into T7.

Gallant works well in it - although her AA is very short ranged. Done it once, 5 stars - not a French ship on our side (all Anthony's bar my Gallant), was interesting. I wondered about the French Captain for the event, but thought it a nice touch towards the French army units who stayed behind and maintained the Dunkirk perimeter (assuming that is why that choice was made).

Don't start battles untill all players press 'ready'

^This Although there are DC's between hitting the red button and actually starting the battle itself - I've had those a few times over the last couple of months (the 'start battle' button never appears). You need to restart to client to reconnect. So late into the battle, but not AFK.- 20 replies

They are boosters to that particular ship for 30 battles - so extra XP.

Ok, she is in my harbour now, just need to finish work and get home - it will seem a long day! Looking forward to doing the Dunkirk and associated missions.

Yaskaraxx - apologies, but I thought that this might be better coming from me than some of the posters on the forums who can be less than kind. But... your performance in the Atlanta is not exactly inspiring. I consider myself to be poor player in her but out perform you by a decent margin. So perhaps you may not be the best person to advise on the skills and equipment needed to make her perform well. Your average damage in her is a touch over 19k, the server average is 26.6k (mine being 27.5k).

Personally, I would ignore those types of comments as everyone has the right to both play the game and put forward their views/opinions. If those views are not in agreement to those of others, then the weight assigned to them does tend to prefer those who perform better, which is fair enough. eg. would you prefer to accept the views of a medical student or those of an experienced medical surgeon, it does not guarantee that the surgeon is correct, but the probability is that they are.

Yes, but only T8 plus ships, I have a few T8 prems and 1 Silver (no CV other than the Big E, but I am out of practice with CV's so don't want to drive her yet), nothing higher (I could get the Missouri, but do not want to leap frog into T9 BB play) - so restricted opportunity.
