    Let me just ask for a clarification on the delay issue please:- You hit the 'alt' key when using the DB, the "drop shape" appears on the map, but that is not actually where the bombs will fall due to this 4-5 seconds delay, or does it remain the area where the bombs actually drop, it's just further away from the planes themselves when you hit the 'drop' button?

    I fully understand what randomness is, thank you. See also below. I would agree, if you want to optimise other aspects of the features in the game. If you want to mitigate this feature though, because it is too "random" for you, even if extremely rare, then that is your choice.

    Open question to those who are arguing that Detonation should be removed from the game because it is close to being a game breaker for you. On how many of your ships do you use the magazine protection module? I am just curious if you use the already in game provided mechanisms to mitigate this feature of the game which you think should not be in the game.

    It's a choice you can make if you wish to do so. either the module or the flags. I have yet to buy one of the signal packages and run with Juliet charlies on my DD's and have not run out of them yet (but then I tend to go for gold packages on premium ships). You are free to do so also, if you wish to, for something that is a "very small statistical inconvenience". Or run with the module if it is that much of a game breaker, which will make the <1% probability even smaller - it is your choice.

    With all due respect. Yes there will be players who just want to shoot at moving targets, similar to an arcade game, but I suspect that this is a very small %.Most people actually want to play, survive and shoot sh@t controlled by other people in a realistic environment, now we can debate in detail just how real it ought to be - who wants to get seasick the first few times they drive a ship (stupid example I know, but when true VR comes into a game like this, who knows....) - detonations are real. I do understand why some people want it out of the game as it is a 'great equaliser' but one that they can mitigate or remove using in game tools. Removing this piece of reality from this game costs a very small amount of cash to fly the appropriate flag. People don't like it, then spend the cash to remove it. Does this make it a P2W element, only on the smallest possible scale given the probability of occurrence. People object to paying a small cash value to remove a realistic feature from a F2P game, then with respect, the game has bigger flaws to fix and a lot more actual content to add before addressing what a vocal portion of the forums complain about.

    I think that this sums up the current game quite nicely - it tries to be as realistic as it can be, but flexible in order to make it more enjoyable for as many as possible. So fixed outcomes for all actions just isn't real at all. Everything in the game comes down to chance, but mitigated by the skill levels of the players, even detonation. More RL 'heroes' have died to potatoes than to other heroes due to RNG. And ingame snobbery belongs exactly where it ought to be - a dark and smelly place.

    The ship was paid for with a subscription by the Ottoman public ("own a bit of a BB") and the Turkish crew were waiting to board then sail her away before being deported back to Turkey. Churchill made the right decision, the Ottomans had already committed to the Central Powers. Premium - my wallet has a designated area already and has done since before the game launched :)

    This reminds me of HMS Agincourt (14x12" guns, 7x2) - there were bets going round the Grand Fleet whether she would capsize if shooting a full broadside :).

    ^^I agree with this. OP - I think it sounds like a sensible suggestion and it would be very handy for those who are willing to pay cash to play the game (and keep it going of course). But it would be a huge disadvantage to both starting players who are not aware of such an offer and also to all those who do not pay to play. After all, you would only need to have 1 captain per tree in order to play all of the ships, with only the need to respec their skills if needed when swapping between ships in a line. (or just grinding up shed loads of elite captain XP which would be very easy, too easy).

    Indianapolis assistance please

    Ok, recently bought the Indianapolis in order to help train up my US CA captains - ouch, I cannot get her to work in a constructive way. I either end up getting sunk or rubbish contribution due to having to retreat out of harms way due to damage taken. Radar cruiser good against DD's.. well.. it would be nice to be able to survive being in range to use it.. hence..help! (I've looked at a few YT vids over 'how to' etc but cannot seem to translate those into game action. I'm not bad with cruisers and like the Pepsi, but this one is just..... frustrating. Haven't had a single battle yet where I came away with "ahh, this is how to do it" even if it went badly for that particular battle).

Ok, over the last 2 weeks I have been in a handful of battles that terminate early. ie. both sides have ships, neither sides points are close to 1000 and plenty of time left, but suddenly up comes the 'victory/defeat' screen and the battle ends. A clan mate who was in one of the battles mentioned that there was some form of '1 side is doing so badly that there is no point in continuing' equivalent in the mechanics that kicks in occasionally. Which I have doubts about to say the least. Would be interested in hearing back from others who know the reasons behind this or been in similar battles? thanks

    Silly little point perhaps - but in the main game video, now that the Hood is in game, why not change the Bismarck hitting the Warspite's magazine, to that of the Hood?

    I think that the Ishi was my first premium ship - great fun. (No idea about Mutsu). Buffs - they also buffed her cammo value as well IIRC?
