So...now that we know cruisers need something. Who is going to tell it WeeGee?

I now play more cuisers since i like the playstyle but what i noticed (i cant speak for T8 and above) is that arround T6 the survivability of cruisers and DDs are kinds swaped. After T6, i see DDs survive way more often even a full BB salvo broadside on 8km while there are players who apologize to a cruiser player after they oneshottet them from 20km. A BB dont struggle as hard to kill a cruiser as a cruiser struggles to kill a DD. After T5, it got for me really hard to kill a DD with a cruiser, no matter the range. I dont have much experience, but i can agree on most arguments, surviving as a cruisers is mostly a thrill. While im in a DD, its mostly comfortable. Especially when i see someone has me in target, then i start to sweat. Even the "solution to all problems" aka angling does not always work on cruisers. And "playing save" means for me in a cruiser hiding in fear behind an island and wait untill the enemy team is half dead, open water is like deathsentence. If i would suggest something, then maybe if a BB shoot at a Cruiser with AP, it should have the same effect like shooting a DD with it, lots of overpens. Like i sad, i dont play T8 and above, mostly T5 and T6, and there, you could simply remove the citadel from the cruisers and i still would have a hard time not get sunk. I think the range got powercrept since there are BBs you can shoot at you with nearly laser accuracy from 20km range but cruisers have to spray and pray on nearly half the range.

heyho, im kinda annoyed of planes but sometimes, but it feels like some ships are just deleting them and some do not really dmg. I want to know i can tell if the ship im currently playing (not specific, in generell) has a good AA or not and dont want permanent google "has the yorck good aa" and so on. Is it the with big range or high DPS? or the air granades? or is there a magical caliber that makes them work. For example like "good AA has more than 6x40mm"

Heyho, i was wondering if there is a reason to keep ships and not sell them. Im about to buy my first T8 ship, and for me its a big investment and im always low on credits. Keeping Ships, especially the low tiers, is for me dead capital. But sometimes i read someone says something about keeping ships for events. I really like the Gneisenau, but only keeping her because shes fun? maybe in a later stage of the game when money is not that big of a deal, but right now, modules and a new ship is expansiv.

I was just looking at the raw paper DPS without commander skills or something. Thanks for showing, but there i have to criticize the game design for not giving an indicator that there is an mouse over tooltip or put it to the range. If i want to see the range of an AA gun im looking at the gun or the range, but not the DPS. I was looking over all but not the DPS :D

Ok, i now went through some ships, can i now say that: AA DPS: below 200 is terrible. between 200-300 is "ok" 300 and above is good 400 is very good and 500+ is top notch AA range: 4 - 5 km is bad 5 - 6 km is ok 6km+ is good in addidion, cruisers are better since they get 50% instead of 35% sector buff. Thats new for me, and since there is no ingame explanation, i have to look it up. Flak zones dmg are all mostly the same and only counts if the CV player flies through it. Can i ,(very) roughly and simple, sum it that way up?

I was thinking, that if im on T8-10, i can farm the credits for the other lines way faster and come back to them when want to. I noticed that bevor or arround T5, credits where very rare and after i had my first T6 and T7 ships, credits came in faster. Also for some reason, i felt grinding the XP from T5 to T6 took way longer than from T6 to T7 and then to T8. (even tho my first T6 ships was the Nürnberg, and made me nearly quit the game, it was pure rage for me.) Right now, i have 7 slots left, and yes i tink it was another reason I left WoWs in the beginning. I made my accound in 2015 and back then i had only, idk, like 6-8 slots and then i had to buy with dublons. When i came back this year, i suddenly have over 30 slots and i could finaly grind more lines simultaneously. Im a collector and i hated the fact i could not keep all the ships. I would keep all the ships i unlock, but im to stingy to buy new slots nad modules and since i play now for a few monts active, i have not enough slots to slowly keepng them. Main reason i sell the ships are that i need the modules and credits for the next ship and i have limited space in port. Oh and btw, i made myself mistakable. With premium ships, i mean ships you can buy only with real money. Coal, steel and Free XF are for me Freemium ships, you can buy them without real money. I think, after i play the game for another time and have enough credits and slots, i will fill my port with ships i like. Selling a ship right now spares me one or two days of grinding. And yes, i got told a lot that i dont should rush to the upper tiers, but on the othey side, everyone is telling me that the real game mechanics and the special features of the ships are only coming through at T9 and T10. Like "every ship of every nation bevor T7 plays the same" then i was thinking to myself, why should i stay in the mid tier for as long as possible, if everything i learn becomes obsolete after T8.

Like i sad, i only got the Emden (i think its T2) from Amazon, and a Cherbourg from who knows where. Do you mean with premium also the ones for Coal,Steel and Free XP?

Thanks for the good advice. Yes normaly im a collector, but buying houndreds of port slots is enormus, im just a student with low money :D I think i just need more times in this game in order to play arround with the tier ships, ranked and seasons. Even tho this account is old, i played it very long only casual or not at all, this is my first year playing more serious. (thats why i also dont have much port slots from quests) But i will not buy a premium ship, thats just decadent in my opinion.

I made my missions in Randoms since i cant play Ranked (onle when there was a T7 ranked, but then i did had one) And i dont like Coops, since a great coop match gives still less rewards then a bad random battle.

Yes, like me. Fun is enought but i wanted to know if there is more. Like i sad, for example my port slots are limited or i didnt knew there where events where you need a mid tier ship (or it would be usefull to have one)

I bought premium but im also horrible short on silver. Most of the time im arround 200k credits since i got new ships fast since i was grinding multible lines. I had a lot more when i was focusing one just a few. Thats why i always have a little stock of doublonds, to save the credits. Ah, thanks for the explanation. I think, WoWs is already way to expansive (especially Premium ships are nuts), and i refuse to buy new slots. Gladly i had some in the containers.

Sorry, but i dont know what snowflakes are and i have only two premium ships, one from amazon prime gaming and a french cruiser where i have no idea why or where that is coming from.

I do grind multible lines/nations, most are T7 and only some are T6. But why should i keep a T5-T6 ship or even lower onces?

Heyho, even i think i know the awnser, but is it possible to change a quest reward afterwads? im talking about the Azur Lane quest where i could chose between Hood or Prinz Eugen as Captain. I took Hood, but now i kinda regred it. Is it possible that i could hand her back and get Prinz Eugen instead if i write a ticket?

Heyho, just some background infos, not really needed. I was away for a few years and now wanted to go back into the game and wanted to find out what class to play. At first I wanted to play cruisers since I remebered them fun, but then i played a few matches in my Nürnberg and found myself just a XP Pinata. (but other Cruisers are now also XP Pinatas for me now) Then I tried the new Subs, but for me I was neither good nor was it fun. To unlock the carriers I played some DDs, and again, I was bad and I didnt like it. For the same reason I dont like cruiser, they are way to squishy for me. CVs are really fun and I like them, I think I will continue to play them every now and then. But I had the most fun in BBs and decided for me, that I wanted to play more BBs. I tried each nation till T5-6 and tried to be more specific what I want on my BB and how I play. how I play: - I suck at aiming/sniping, even I know where to aim, I only land citadels at cruisers. - I like brawling and contesting points. I like when the secondarys are shooting too. - Im stubborn. (I love giving broadsides with all guns the whole time, even I know I eat citadels. I just hate it to use only one or two turrets. Plus Im terrible annoyed if someone is angled to me and want them to sink them for this lame strategy). - Not really aggresiv, but also not a island hugger. Whem im alone, in its mostly bc my teammates just made a 180° and i dind got the memo. I like on a BB: - Forgiving positioning. I know how to angle, but it somehow never really works + love giving broadside. - Tonns lot of barrels, the more the better (turrets are looking cool and its fun seeing a big volley at the enemy. + less annoyed when some are spread away) - A little bit maneuverability All pointed to French BBs and some Italians. Im now stuck with the Normandy and the Cavour. The Italian SAP is strange, it feels like im doing overall less dmg then with the AP, and could do more if i had HE, but a lot players says the SAP would get way better in higher Tiers till at some point it will get way better than HE. (even better than AP if you dont land citadel hits) But then i know what i forgot in my calculation: The Sniper-Meta. Right now, I cant really get close to enemy ships since since the Guns cant either shoot that far or have a silly spread on range. Was a little bit of a downer, therefore I went back to the german/US line. Now on the Bayern and New Mexico, but everyone says Germans nerfed to death and the US are kinda boring. I got not that much info about the Italian BBs, besides one or two who says "stay away from them" So, should i stick to the french/italian? ignore the Germans for a while? i think the RUS are to tanky or chonky for me, and i dont know what to think about the british BBs

Not confusing, it was good. It would have been if i didnt red the last few days guides. Actually you put me a little bit of my path. Now i start to think maybe i should give the japanese, US and UK BBs a chance. EDIT: the numbers are a little bit unnecessary. i cant do much with them (dyscalculia)

So, right now im still at T5 and some at T6. You mean right now they play all the same and the differences are coming at T6 and up?
