    Question about search function

Hi everyone, do I miss something or is there no function to search for a keyword just in one selected area of the forum? For example: I went to the CV discussion and wanted to search for a key word only in this section. But there is only the search bar above and when you type in something there is is searched in all forum threads. Even in the search menu you can not select to search a special area. Any help?

    Replays abspielen

    How It Works: Fire 2.0

Since I couldn't find the topic in the feedback section I'm asking here. Why do wargaming think it is a good idea to increase the detection range pendalty to 2km? I mean to have 2 or 3 radar ships and an CV in the enemy team is pretty normal by now. And then you see this and think: Wait what the game need is another mechanic that takes the stealth away from DDs? Really?

    ST - armor-piercing rockets

Everyone is complaining about CVs. The high tier gaming is broken for DDs. Plenty of radar and air craft everywhere. The main feature of DDs is concealment and you took that away without any compensation. You should put your resources to for example change the radar mechanics so that islands provide cover to counterbalance for that. But no. You make CVs even stronger. You have serieously lost contact with your customers. I was asking myself: Why this recruting campain? Are your player numbers going down? If yes maybe you should start listinign to the player community instead of doing what ever crazy idea someone in the team come up with. Armour piercing rockets are a solution to a problem that didn't excist. This whole thing looks to me like some manager has got a high CV player number in his personal goals and this guy wants his bonus even if that means [edited]up the game.

    - please let us have manual torp or bomb drop at Tier 3 - I just had 2 battles in Hosho that were frustrating as hell. The autodrop mechanism is just to easy to handle by the targeted player if he is not completely inexperienced. A cruiser or DD just need to do a full turn in open water into the attack direction and the torps will miss all. A BB wil get one hit. The best part is if the player drives close to an island and turn, the algorithem is going to drop some torps over land. Let the CV just use the manual drop.

Other changes (UI, Ships, Sounds & more)

Hey wargaming team, some feedback about your indianapolis marathon: I'm not that much interested in the indi or atlanta otherwise I would have bougth them before. But I like the idea of a timely restricted series of mission to get some cool reward. After all, getting something by achievement is more fun then just buy it or get it or free. You do get that concept in your game. So your indi marathon get my attention. When I looked into it I started wondering what you were even thinking when you came up with it? I like to explain to you why I think that this indi marathon is a good idea but realized in a very poor way. Fact 1: You're a company working to make money. In order to do that you need paying customers. These customers need an income to have money to spend on your products. For this they need to go to work. Fact 2: The average WOWs player is older than 18. At least I heard so. This means these people have a family (wife, children and so on) Fact 3: There are a few other responsibilities in the life of an adult that are not directly linked to Fact 1 and 2 but need to be tend to anyway. Fact 4: Because of Fact 1,2 and 3 it is impossible for most players to play your game every day for a 14 days period. Even if they like it and want to, they just can't. I do understand that you will never give away premium ships in missions everyone can complete. This will hurt your business model. So you don't want to make it to easy to achieve the missions needed. But how about doing this in a way that will give the average player at least a chance to fullfill the overall combat mission if he commits to it instead of shutting everyone out of it, if he or she has a life outside of world of warships? Summary: Concept of getting people the chance of fullfilling a timely limited mission for a cool reward, that will not be completed by everyone -> good idea Forcing your player to play every day for 14 days straight to achive it -> very bad idea How about a solution where the players have one week to fullfill a small number of missions before moving to the next week with following mission. But giving people the oppurtiunity to choose three or four days the actuallay can play without ruining their mariage, losing their job or neglecting their children? My personal impression on the way you did this indi marathon is: You just don't care if I can participate in it or not.

    Suggestions thread

Suggestion not for the game but just for information management regarding maintenance and updates. Getting to play the game takes some time management for me. This morning I created myself a bit of time to play and guess what happend: Server down for planned maintenance. Made me pretty unhappy. Of course this information is in the forum and on the homepage but this is not enough for following reasons: 1. To look for an update every one or two days there is pretty ineffectiv because it happens about 1 time a month or so. 2. It would be a far better service to give the customer the information instead of having him look for it. 3. There already is a better way to provide this information to players. It just have to be used. If a player can get an pop up ingame message after log in because he joined a clan, why not send him a message 48h or 72h before the next planned maintenance about the planned downtime? So please can we have an ingame pop up message informing us about planned server maintenance? I would really appriciate that.
