My (now 4+ years old) proposal: Introduction of special game mode for pure WWI combat using authentic ships with authentic weapons!

It would be a great addition in the game but that it will never happen. The tier that these event will work is too low and WG stopped to create ships on that tier cause it doesnt bring them money ... why make a T3-4 ships for 10 euro when you can sell T8-9 for 100 euro... It would be so nice to make it and add an operation for T3/4 ships to have historical ships on it but it wont Sad bear -

Ships T3 until T7 looks nice T8 is terrible atleast how the picture is taken T9-10 looks also that someone copy paste a huge turret on them Short range guns with long range torps ... logic from soviet federation .... Soon your torps will have longer range than your guns I hope the decent secondary means also really good dispersion else we will ahve some fireworks again but i guess you nerf original German bb's sec and now you selling the new BB's again ... well played WG Also ... 508mm guns on the British BB ... so wonderful for overmatch mechanics eh and then wonder why people whine Last whine i guess you now find resources and time to make a T3 ship but you didnt had time for an italian T3 eh -

Stay away from Graf - Kaga is decent but not that better than the tech trees cv's Kaga weapons is the torps and the HE bombs and awesome plane capacity - rockets are kinda crap especially after the nerf Tech Tree cv's Usa cv's are good for new players to learn and good for learning Japanese can be effective from good players (ap bombs) German can be fun but abit harder to compete in same level skill but i guess good to try it. Some ships !!! Like what ships ??? Are you crazy !!! you are telling us that some ships they wont counter Subs until they are out of the oxygen/battery/fairy dust ??? or until the drunk potato sub player will press a wrong button but until them our ship will be in Stalins mercy Y O U are C R A Z Y Please check some doctor for your design/balancing department cause they take some serious substances or the water is toxic .... -
The new "Community Tokes" are nice addition - but why did we lose the "Signal Flags" rewards from the "Public Test" playing?

Great job of implementing the community tokens, a nice idea but in the process it bombs everything else that it replaces by these tokens Guess getting some camos and signals playing and testing some stuff in PTS was too generous i guess Well done WG -

When a system/feature is hard to maintain and/or we brake it for our reasons (operations) we have an excuse that the feature has low popularity. In the other corner when we want to support some drunk developer idea from the HQ we getting the diversity and enjoyable mechanics for the playerbase excuse How hard is maintain a music player in the game and why that is broken in the first place ?? In the gta series you could even use shortcuts from your music folder Guess RNG lootboxes have higher priority in the do do list -
So the only initiative to not just yolo in with a dd/cruiser and collect 3 tokens in 3mins is some vanity flag/badge So half the server will probably yolo in to get the tokens as we said in PTS feedback Atleast you can adjust the tokens that you receive as you saying in the article sometime in the future ..... if .... maybe .. who knows

I know how detonation works and how to not detonate but testing a secondary ship i was imagine to go almost full secondary build to try it out maybe next time il snipe from A1 to be safe

Consider disabling the fun and engaging detonation mechanism on this mode I got super hyper duper saylling the german super BB trying to get close and try secondary/brawling and an aeroplane, who will think of that, came and throw 2 torps and got detonate - obviously had lost health before thats why the detonation but i didnt had fun at all detonating so early in the game.

Just to double post with a serious answer Make torpedo hits count for more hits that gun hits - dd can throw you alot of torps Secondly i would like to have the friendly torp sound and marks on UI to active cause sometimes someone is just trying to help you and having that opton active or maybe putting it in settings of the game can be useful in the fight not all friendly torps are meant to harass you.

Played 3 coop and 2 randoms with a cv (2 t8 JPN - 2 t8 usa - 1 t10 usa) I cant understand who on your management board decide to spend time-effort and money on this change Im not an expert on cv - i would say im newbie cause i hardly played a cv in the live (3 rts games and 1 after rrreeeework) If you exclude my 1st match that i hard to understand the mechanic my follow match i could asjust and play around of the change The only big difference now is that you get an extra timer (around 5sec depending on tier and nation) that the crosshair now is static and you can click when ever you want to fire the rockets which also on these timer their are some machine guns spray on the water so the player to see where the rockets can land. Sadly to say the machine gun animation doesnt start fast and if i double click when the crosshair of rockets become from yellow to green the rockets will fire and i dont have to wait or bother for the new animation. The change is just to make some people happy that you can say on your videos that we care and we listen our feedback and maybe have your managers pat your back. For new or bad cv players these change can alter their damage on dd's but for good players these mean almost nothing. Bad dd players will still be annihilated and whine again. You should consider other changes for the rockets. Make rockets do less damage on dd only like ap shells do to them - like 30-40% less # adjust accordingly to tests Make cv spoting to be limited and like when you are on a cyclone so when you are spoting any ship taht will be displayed on the map but only if a ship is like 8-10km close to your planes will can see the enemy ship and render to them - maybe add the radar delayed on there some how. Just listen and get some good feedback from your experience and top cv players ... i know i know i have better luck winning joker :p

I played 3 battles on this mode and once with the german BB First the tokens you must collect is alot to just play one battle with these super BB - you should be able to get one run with 2 or 3 battles played with other ships cause now on the PTS most people they are just yoloing in the start of the battle to just get the tokens which makes your testing to go to recycle bin. Make some reward missions for non superBB ships to make the player base to play right on this mode else isnt much fun to have 6 to 8 yolo players on each match. You could also limit the tokens to be received with atleast 700 base xp on win or 500 base xp on loss (random numbers adjust it on what should be better) Over all the only change i would like is that the special skill for each superBB to be not automatic activated but give the option to the player to have a time frame of lets say 50-60 secs to activated when he wants on that frame cause now sometimes i got the sec accuracy buff but with no enemy ship around the 14km or wasnt on lien of sight. IF you make this suoerBB in a special permanent mode i will be happy but i wont like them in randoms or Rank etc modes

I dont know if its bug or not but if the change to select a target for your secondary guns was intentionally please dont do it Its annoying to hunt a specific ship pixel in the heat of the battle instead of the health/name target bar Please it is a frustrating change bring back the original option for selecting a target.

Since you are altering/modifying the ship Armory can you please add the free xp ships there too so they will be all together in one category in the armory instead of us hunting the Tech Tree for that particular ships. That will also help new players that dont know that free xp ships exist. I propose these change a couple times on the past but nothing yet ... poor recycle bin getting fill up fast i think. I test these change and worked fine with no bugs but i would prefer when i buy the equipment on the armory i wiould have the option to auto equip it instead to have again click the slot to put in - small detail but i would prefer it

Thats a bit wrong My Massa and my Alaska havent been nerfed directly on changes on their ship characteristics but some global changes from the commander rework did influence them some nerf's to them Does it suck .. ye it sucks but that doesnt make WG that they broke their statement of no nerfs to buyable premium ships Agir was sold as secondary cruiser but got nerf to the ground with the commander rework, thats a big whining but hey we will have soon the Napoli right and we will check our spreadsheets when we sold enouph napolis then maybe we will fix poor german Agir ship -
I want to complain that they arent any missions or rewards to test this changes on PTS Would be so nice to get some badge for 10 TK's

an old saying (was Chinese or Japanese) was saying If you believe everything you read you should better stop reading Do you really believe everything that is written in this game in some login/waiting screen especially in WG game that even official statements are so ridiculous written and hurt our IQ as players -
As Yabba told you the only problem you will have is if you are using fat32 file system cause now the updates will be issue in one big update that could be more than 4gb that the fat32 can read/acknowledge so you wont have any problems atleast for this update from this change. Yes i can understand the problem cause i do work on IT but sadly that how things go. As i call the car engineer to fix a big problem with my car thats the process if i major thing happen to your pc and you afraid or dont have a friend to help you fix it. Good or bad people that using fat32 should be in really low percentage and WG doesnt care for them at all as WG show with the removal of MacOS but fat32 is an old file system that you shouldnt using on your pc for the last 14years except for some special cases of software or some old pc games but for that you can use emulators or get some working old hardware. cheers !!!
