Where you are maybe. In France, Great Britain, Belgium, the US, some of the graphic novel content is far from safe for kids in any way, shape or form (Sin City, XIII, most of Tardi's work, 2000 A.D., etc), and then there's manga, of which some content is outright sexual (as in not just contains sexual content, but is basically focused on it). I really think that the mindset of "it is drawn/animated therefore it is for children" should change, because a) it's lazy, b) it's degrading for the artists a lot of the time.

Actually, this is interesting, might give it a go. Now I have the 8" setup, and I'm quite content with it, if not for the fact that I find it plain, boring, and absolutely just a worse version of the Atago bar the turret layout. If the 155mm setup turns out playable, it might just set the ship apart enough from the Atago to be interesting.

Did you write down the words "tank" and "Yorck" in the sae sentence? A Pepsi can citadel a Yorck frontally at 13 km. hat said Yorck is a standout on the German CA line in that it actually is a HE-reiant ship unlike the ships before and after it which are AP reliant.

So is this gun. On a serious note: I feel you.

By the way, these colours are also being used in the WoWs external rating systems such as warshipstats.com and warships.today. Look at anybody's sig. Also, there is usually one worse rating than Tomato, that's Blackhead. But Blackheads are almost as rare as Unicums, as that rating borderlines purposefulness (and doesn't seem to be present in warshipstats and warships.today ratings) The equivalent rating to WN8 in warships so far is WTR, which is bound to get more complex eventually IMO.

Nuernburg is a joke. Heck everything in the German tree suffers. Everything.

I think there's a superflous '1' in the calibre there -
Calling anime cartoons is the same kind of ignorance as calling comics and graphic novels "kids' books". You don't happen to suffer from that, now do you?
-
It would still be nice to be able to carry the two different kind of ammunition...

Judging by your account, you're just doing it wrong. You're in a cruiser. You're not supposed to withstand BB shots. -
Because superheavy AP shells, that's why. If we could actually select the ammo we want (and what the ammunition elevators could handle), this would be a non-issue, as I'm sure a lot of people would revert to the 4600-damage Mk19 AP rounds for flatter arcs. I have the strange feeling that it would actually get the hitrates and the winrates up on the B-more and the DM (and the Cleveland too, since she also fires superheavy shells). The superheavies (Mk 21 8" and Mk 35 6") have lower muzzle velocity but better penetration. At close range the Mk 19 8" had better or at least equivalent penetration because of the higher velocity, at longer range however it would fall short of the Mk 21 superheavy. What the Mk 21 can't do however is outrange the Mk 19, as the max range at 41° for the Mk 21 is 30050 yards (27480m), while the range at that angle for the Mk 19 is 31860 yards (29130m). Maximum distance at which penetration is listed is 28600 yards (26150m) for the Mk 21 (4"/4" side and deck armour penetration) and 30200 yards (27610m) for the Mk 19 (3"/4" side and deck armour penetration). Beyond that I think they would pretty much lose penetrating power, if for nothing else, side armour, because of the steep angle of fall (54° and 51° respectively at max listed penetration range). The guns the Cleveland had (6"/47 Mk 16) would have been able to fire the AP rounds of the Omaha class' 6"/53 Mk 13/16, but they seemingly were only ever issued Mk 35 superheavy AP shells, so your arcs and velocities are pretty much non-discussable.

Don't sell it, even if you don't like it. I'm not much of a professional (yet!), but it's not hard to achieve good results if you put some time into learning basic mechanics. If you want help, I suggest you check out SGWA.
