This, mate, is a very good point I haven't even thought about so far. It wouldn't surprise me if Mog's power bleed than that of Atago, since her top speed is lower to begin with.

Yeah, well, there is no question of favoritism in the initial eyeing there, I was just looking at the NO to size her up because of my own self interest (with the game we had before that I'm sure you'll understand) Yeah, might do that, although he may miss it if we send it to him in two parts. -

If they put French uniformed black soldiers into europe themed maps, that's going to be historically accurate. If they put arabs in european themed maps in French uniform, that's going to be accurate as well. I don't know about Germans, although I suspect they would bring up at least some black people from colonies to "teach them the 'proper' ways of war", but I'm more lenient towards thinking that black people on the German side were mostly present in Africa. -

So I'm looking at the stats of the Baltimore, and I noticed that the the base guns are the guns you get on the Pensacola, the Indianapolis and the New Orleans, and then you get the new guns that fire faster, do more damage but have the higher arcs. My question is this: is it worth to have those guns, or should one stick to the faster, lighter and flatter guns that do a little less damage less frequently but are (or seem to) more accurate?

To be completely honest with you, DM is not as appealing to me, simply because of aesthetic reasons. I think the B-more is a handsome ship, much more so than Des Moines, although if I'm getting one, why not get the other Problem is that I'm going to run out of cpt's...

AFAIK Portland and Indianapolis were built larger and heavier, purposefully as fleet flagships, while Northamptons were "just" typical CA's. Which is funny if you consider how much larger both Northampton and Portland classes were compared to Pensacola, and yet Pensacola was oftentime used as her CruDiv's flagship (or so I recall). Armour-wise, frontally I don't think there's much difference between Indy and Pepsi, Indy has the better belt, but that seems to be it really. Indy's hangarspace is however much more vulnerable in my experience.

I'd say Northampton would be more of a bow-in brawler, while Pensacola could stick to her current get-out-from-under-the-shellfire role.

6.8s/4.5km? Oh lols, that is really slow indeed. 6r/m/g seems reasonable, but given the lighter and slower shell, I think she'd still be at a disadvantage vs Kirov or even Furutaka. I'd say up her speed by a knot (you know, just have the boilers about to blow). I guess her point would be to pile on the rounds of a relatively high calibre (7.5" is still 190.5mm's), for say, 4200 damage a pop. Like you said, she'd have the displacement to soak the damage instead of tanking it (I take it her armour isn't all that great), and maybe if maneuverability allows for it dodge it?
