Sure, though Furious Taco is right now the EZmode kruzer unless you get thrown into T7 every match. I mean that thing outclasses almost every other cruiser at T5.

I would also expect Dunkerque's armour to be pretty effective despite seemingly being low, due to her basicaly being able to always point to the greatest threat at all times. Also, her layered upper and lower deck armour should be helpful against frontal plunging hits.

I'm pretty sure that at some point we will be seeing vids on yt with shots so perfect the just look like two banks of four parallel shells hitting the targets' broadsides perfectly bang on. And it's going to be just perfect to watch.

Yeah, well, I hope her turrets' will be a bit more durable, so that they don't get knocked out by single overpens

That's odd. Can you provide some replays so we can see what you are doing exactly? Broadsides are your friend BTW, but extreme angles are autobounces as while very strong, German AP has pretty sh1t normalisation.

I'm going to get to feast on their tears, and call them idiots, esp after I go out there and rek stuff with her. My main complaint so far is that she used to be able to make 32+ knots, yet in game she'll be just short of 30. I can understand why WG wouldn't let her be as fast as a CA, but I for one will be flying speed flags on her and wreck faces with my accompanying cruisers. Although speed flags may be a waste when one's advancing at half, quarter or full reverse speed full bow-on, but hey, sometimes you just need the extra knot or two. I for one would have put this ship at T7, but I'm thinking that it may be a case similar to that of Scharnhorst and Gneisenau, where Scharnhorst is the prem and Gneisenau the reg, only here Strasbourg would be T7 (and better).

Unfortunately she spent most of her combat carrier with the Vichy french, so that's a bummer, but we have to roll with it. Of course if we find another camo scheme that she did have, I'm all for suggesting it.

All her main firepower is to the front. If you're not angled, you've got no excuse AT ALL.

About those shell arcs. I was thinking that Cleveland's (and other 6"/47-armed, superheavy-firing CL's' )time-on-target should change, while the range gets better. Say you add 2-2.5 km to Cleveland's range but don't extend the flight time at end-of-travel, and ta-da, most complaints are sloved while still retaining the high arcs and slow speed atributed to US cruisers.

You need deck views. For both Normandie and Lyon you'll need the deletion of some of the casemate-mounted secondary battery and have some DP guns installed above the casemates that are now serving as working chambers for the guns above them. For both of them that DP armament is the 75mm/50 Mle1922 on B hull (~1923-25) and later the twin mount 90mm/60 Mle1926 on C hull (~1930-35).
